Billions more in profits are at stake for some vaccine makers as the U.S. moves toward dispensing COVID-19 booster shots to shore up Americans' protection against the virus.
How much the manufacturers stand to gain depends on how big the rollout proves to be.
Exactly who should get a booster was a contentious decision as advisers to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention spent two days this week poring over the evidence. CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky endorsed most of their choices: People 65 and older, nursing home residents and those ages 50 to 64 who have chronic health problems such as diabetes should be offered one once they are

The New York Times often acts as the spin cycle for the Democrats’ dirty laundry. For years, Times reporters have helped get ahead of damning news, especially when it’s related to the Russian collusion hoax, in an attempt to establish the narrative early.
A recent example is the Times article downplaying the pending indictment against Michael Sussman, the Clinton campaign lawyer who acted in cahoots with the FBI to seed the collusion tale (snip)
Saturday, the Times published a carefully constructed bombshell intended to soften the blow of an explosive scandal in the making: the FBI had at least one informant among the group of Proud Boys who marched

As we have been saying since the outset, the January 6th Committee is only in place for one reason – to create an extremist narrative, undermine and smear their political opposition in advance of the 2022 mid-term election. What the Mueller Investigation was to 2018, the J6 Investigation is to 2022. Same/Same. Both based on a fraudulent political premise.
To support the leftist objective, the committee now sends subpoenas to Trump administration officials, aides and allies fishing for any communication information they can use to create their smears. The committee is seeking documents and depositions from Dan Scavino, President Trump’s social media assistance and senior White House

I have noticed that, in all the acres of commentary (most of it respectful or even laudatory) on the wrapping of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris with 25,000 square meters of polypropylene fabric, none has claimed that the beauty of the city has been thereby enhanced. It has been called “remarkable,” “amazing,” “bold,” and even “artistic”—O Art, as Marie Antoinette would now exclaim, what crimes are committed in thy name! But no one—at least, no one whose cowardly dithyrambs to this costly, pointless exercise I have read—has called it beautiful. (Snip)The word beauty and its cognates have been all but expunged from the vocabulary of critics,

On Sept. 22, Michael Sussmann appeared via video at the first status conference held in Special Counsel John Durham’s criminal case against the former Clinton attorney. During the hearing, the government noted some disclosure material likely included classified information, spinning speculation of what those documents might be.
But while the prosecution remains in its infant stages, and it will be some time before the country knows more details(snip) the biggest backers of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax have already exonerated Sussmann. That fits a long pattern of collusion spinners downplaying every investigative advance into their Russia hoax.
Here are their top talking points about the Sussmann news and why they are gibberish.

A federal court in Wyoming has issued an arrest warrant for Brian Laundrie in relation to a grand jury indictment for his "activities following the death of Gabrielle Petito," the FBI announced Thursday.

The state of Florida has obtained thousands of monoclonal antibody treatments to treat COVID-19 from a UK-based company after the Biden administration’s abrupt rationing of federally acquired doses.
Florida went to GlaxoSmithKline, which produces monoclonals that haven’t yet been bought up by the federal government. They reached an agreement on about 3,000 doses, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on Sept. 23.
“That’s showing that we’re going to leave no stone unturned. And, if there’s somebody that needs a monoclonal antibody treatment, we’re going to work hard to get it to them,” the Republican told a press conference in Tampa.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan figures prominently in a grand jury investigation run by Special Counsel John Durham into an alleged 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign scheme to use both the FBI and CIA to tar Donald Trump as a colluder with Russia, according to people familiar with the criminal probe, which they say has broadened into a conspiracy case.
Sullivan is facing scrutiny, sources say, over potentially false statements he made about his involvement in the effort, which continued after the election and into 2017. As a senior foreign policy adviser to Clinton, Sullivan spearheaded what was known inside her campaign as a “confidential project” to link Trump

At the Sept. 21 Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on counterterrorism, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas touted a raft of new programs aimed at combating domestic extremism—many of which are raising red flags among interest groups across the political spectrum.
The new DHS plans follow a March 2021 intelligence community report that deems white supremacy and violent domestic extremism as the most dangerous terrorism threat to the homeland. Mayorkas made similar statements at the Sept. 21 hearing.
“Today, U.S.-based lone actors and small groups, including homegrown violent extremists and domestic violent extremists—who are inspired by a broad range of ideological motivations—pose the most significant and persistent terrorism-related threat to our country,” Mayorkas said.

During a Senate hearing Tuesday, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claimed the Biden Regime’s border policies are “working,” and have led to a drop of encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Mayorkas was responding to Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), who was grilling the DHS chief about the ongoing surge of illegal immigrants at the border during a Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing(snip)
After noting that Mayorkas had previously testified to Congress that DHS had “a plan,” and was “executing the plan,” Hawley pointed out that for two straight months, in July and August, US Customs and Border Protection officials had encountered more than 200,000 illegal immigrants.
