Report: Most federal election security
money remains unspent

Congress provided hundreds of millions of dollars to shore up the nation’s election system against cyberattacks and other threats, but roughly two-thirds of the money remained unspent just weeks before last year’s presidential election. A recently released federal report says the states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories had spent a little more than $255 million of $805 million in election security grants through Sept. 30 of last year, the latest figures available. States were given leeway on how and when to spend their shares because election concerns and potential vulnerabilities of voting systems vary widely across the country. Several election officials cited two main reasons

Comments:

Unspent federal money? Impossible, you say. But wait, this was supposed to be for election security, and fair elections are of no concern to the USA. I'd suggest we hand that cash over to Pfizer in lieu of forced vaccination, but they require billions of dollars, not just hundreds of millions.

No wonder the cyber attack money wasn't spent. It wasn't needed. The election hacking/fraud was using old school ballots.

Natural immunity from previous COVID-19 infection may offer stronger protection against the Indian 'Delta' variant than immunity from full vaccination, a new study suggests. Researchers compared people who had received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to unvaccinated individuals who had recovered from the virus. They found that participants with natural immunity were up to 13 times less likely to contract Covid than those who were given two jabs.(Snip)Overall participants who were double jabbed were 5.96 times more likely to be infected and 7.13 times more likely to experience symptoms including cough, fever and shortness of breath.

A potentially deadly blunder by President Joe Biden’s administration effectively handed the Taliban a “kill list” to target Afghans who aided the US, according to a report Thursday—and admitted it may have happened when asked later at a White House briefing. Following the Taliban takeover of Kabul, US officials there gave the Islamic extremist group the names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies so they could be allowed to enter the Taliban-controlled perimeter around the Hamid Karzai International Airport, according to Politico.(Snip) “Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list,” a US defense official told Politico. “It’s just appalling and shocking

A plucky 28-year-old woman fended off an unhinged attacker with a broom and “Wet Floor” sign at a Brooklyn subway station—before video caught him shoving her onto the tracks, she told The Post on Thursday. The harrowing encounter unfolded Wednesday on the northbound 3 and 4 platform at the Utica Avenue-Eastern Parkway station, where the crazed man, later identified as 24-year-old John Merritt, began following the victim, police said. “He was acting erratic and he started to spit at me, is how it started,” said the woman, who asked not to be identified. “When I tried to leave the situation,

Harvard University has chosen a devout atheist and 'humanist chaplain' to lead the Ivy League school founded by Puritans to educate their clergy with the motto 'Truth for Christ and the Church.' Greg Epstein, 44, who was raised in a reformed Jewish household in Queens, New York, was named president of the chaplains for the religious community at the school after serving as Harvard's 'humanist chaplain' since 2005. He is a self-avowed devout atheist who wants to serve fellow nonreligious believers as well as agnostics and humanists at the Cambridge, Massachusetts, school. The Department of Homeland Security approved thousands of noncitizens to work in the U.S. even though its own system tried to flag them as probably ineligible, according to a new inspector general report that paints a grim picture of the government’s best tool for weeding out undocumented immigrant workers. The E-Verify system also confirmed work authorization for about 280,000 noncitizens in 2019 without actually matching them to photos online, opening an avenue for fraud that undocumented immigrants could exploit to take jobs, the Homeland Security inspector general said.(Snip)“Until USCIS addresses E-Verify’s deficiencies, it cannot ensure the system provides accurate employment eligibility results,” the inspector general said

China exploited Kamala Harris’ unexpected flight delay to Vietnam this week to undermine the United States—by doubling the US offer of coronavirus vaccines before the vice president could make her big announcement, according to reports. Harris was en route to Vietnam to offer a coronavirus rescue package, including 1 million extra doses of the Pfizer vaccine, when her plane was delayed over a feared case of the so-called “Havana Syndrome.” During the delay, Beijing rushed its envoy in Hanoi to meet with Vietnam’s prime minister—and he doubled the US offer with a pledge of 2 million vaccines, the Washington Post reported, citing Chinese state media.

Japan on Thursday suspended the use of more than 1.6 million Moderna vaccine doses after the health ministry said multiple vaccination sites reported contamination in unused vials. Officials said that although some of the doses could possibly have already been administered, adverse health effects have not yet been reported, according to The Associated Press. Japanese drugmaker Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., which is in charge of sales and distribution of the shot in the country, said the decision was a safety precaution. Takeda asked Moderna to conduct an emergency investigation. Neither the company nor the health ministry detailed the contamination and whether any of those doses might have been distributed internationally.

Naturalized Americans could have their citizenship revoked thanks to a computer program that searches for concerning activity—with broad categories including anything deemed 'derogatory'. The program, called ATLAS, is used by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and is hosted on servers owned by web e-commerce giant Amazon. DHS stated on their website in a November update that ATLAS was created 'to automate, streamline, and support accurate exchange of data' among immigration authorities and the DHS, and 'to support biometric and biographic-based screening and vetting of immigration requests.' But they have come under fire for refusing to offer more details on how citizens are flagged up for potential denaturalization.

During an address to the nation Thursday evening, President Biden vowed to “hunt down” the terrorists behind the bombings at the Kabul airport and said the U.S. military will continue to evacuate American citizens and allies despite the disruption. Biden spoke hours after two bombs were detonated outside the Hamid Karzai Airport in Kabul. One suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive device at the airport’s central Abbey gate, killing at least twelve American troops and wounding 15 others. A second bomber detonated his device outside the Baron Hotel, near the airport’s perimeter. It remains unclear whether any Americans were killed in that blast.

One of the most effective ways for the MSM to shut down an inquiry into misconduct is to say it is all a conspiracy theory. Besides avoiding an unwanted discussion, the charge also invites scrutiny of the "theorist" instead of the issue itself. Notice how quickly some even start off saying something like "I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but..." Expecting their reaction, we have become almost trained to do this. But are there really no big conspiracies? It has been claimed that the phrase "conspiracy theory" was invented by the government to discourage the questioning of official explanations for important events, especially the JFK assassination.

In a move no one can grasp, U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders, and Afghan allies, believing the Taliban would allow them to enter the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport. Lawmakers and military officials are outraged. The insane move was designed to expedite the evacuation of tens of thousands of people from Kabul by the August 31 deadline. It also came as the Biden administration began relying on the Taliban for security outside the airport. ISIS-K has since set up forces around the soon-to-be-renamed Hamid Karzai International Airport.
