A Call to Action

Original Article

Probably the most truthful thing Nancy Pelosi has ever uttered is “We [Democrats] don’t agonize. We organize.” For decades, Democrats have been strategically honing extensive networks that coordinate action and funding between government agencies, elected officials, NGOs, corporations, schools, houses of worship, cultural institutions, unions, industries, and now the military. They are the industrious ant colonies of politics. Republicans, on the other hand, do not organize. We agonize. We are more comfortable wringing our hands, quoting the Founding Fathers, listening to talk radio, and going on cruises than organizing and taking meaningful action.

In regards to the last introductory paragraph, I noticed James O’Keefe of Project Veritas spending a lot of time singin’ and dancin’ on stage. It’s nice, I suppose, but it distracted from my image of him as a tireless crusader against progressivism. I’m with the author; what does going on cruises accomplish?

But how? It has to be done secretly. If we use social media we’ll get censored. If we announce a rally or a protest Antifa shows up to attack. If we fight back against Antifa the police sweeps in to arrest us. No, this requires some planning, not just going off half-cocked.

Great article but here's what I think she missed. For the most part we are 'producers' while the Left is home to more of the 'takers'. We have jobs to go to. We play by the rules, we use our seatbelts, buy the insurance policies, we push the shopping cart back to the corral, we color inside the lines. We pay the mortgage on a house to raise a family, we started the small businesses, we go on family vacations when we lift our noses from the grindstone. We do not want to loose our stuff, so we go to work rather than the protest march. We don't burn down businesses because we know what it takes to put one up. We pay our taxes because we have to. Want a Pushback the Right can comfortably get behind? Organize a national Tax Revolt. Give us a leader who can organize a Starve the Government way to keep our dollars out of their hands without losing what we worked for. We are the worker ants. The Left are the grasshoppers. Government gains power by catering to the grasshoppers. And government seeks to protect and grow their numbers. But they need the ants to produce. More and more they need from us to give to them. Devise a way we can stop the flow. Tax Revolt.

Painful to swallow but true. An ant colony with Pelosi as the wicked queen. Every ant is in step with the leader. I have no regrets in putting a halt to my funding of the Republicans. When they are in power they still do what the democrats want. When they are the second string they do what the democrats want. Same same.

Oh, my goodness, Sally...Conservatives have jobs, and families. They have civic club meetings and church services to attend. They are smarter than the rabble. Some day, you see, they'll mature and understand, and become conservatives themselves. Conservatives believe in the rational, that the rational will trump the irrational every time over time. And they eschew conflict. No one wants trouble. It could go on their permanent record. "Conservative" demonstrations are exemplary, fully permitted, taking pride in the level of cleanliness afterwards. When they're over, they're over. And when someone says no...well, conservatives might go to the courts - but never to the streets. Only extremists do that. Moderates? They'll go with the popular sentiment, going along to get along however things go. They feel strongly all ways.

OK so just what does the author propose we do? Writers at the AT pen lots of articles pointing out the obvious but fall short in proposing workable solutions a lot of the time. I had a boss one time that used to say "I know what the problem is, what solutions are you proposing".

FTA: "The Republic’s preservation is entrusted not to our representatives but to the People through our representatives. We are the ultimate check on the three branches of government." It is important to note that the action for which the author is calling is not directed at elected Republicans in Congress or Republican red state governors, like Abbott, who a lot of folks here love to criticize, while heaping praise on FPDJT. She's referring to the electorate, WTP - us. The left's control of all media, TV and social, is no excuse for inaction and failure to organize at the grass roots. Neither media type was around in 1775-76 leading up to the American Revolution or in 1942 as the country mobilized and millions of male citizens made their way to recruiting offices to join the fight against the Axis powers, while millions of female citizens made their way into the workforce to support their families and the war effort. Many of the biggest critics of our elected officials are the loudest excuse-makers for their own failure to organize and act.

To Wilarrbie: A lot of that is true, that the left are takers and not as involved w/ work and family and charity as we are. But it's also not true in that there are hundreds of thousands of every day liberals and Democrats who work and have families and find the time to write a letter, attend a rally, sign a petition, make a call when called upon. They find the time. They have the commitment. I have been dealing w/ average conservatives for over 13 years now and it's very hard to get them to consistently devote time to activism of the kind I will discuss in tomorrow's article.

Yes, they bus them in and give them a sandwich and t-shirt and sign...I have witnessed that. But if you read my article tomorrow you'll see what I'm asking for that Republicans and conservatives are hard to get to do w/ the same commitment levels the Ds do. Can't fall back on we have jobs and families. At some point, we have to decide if we want to do the unsexy dirty work of saving this country or just griping about it

Too late for a political solution. The left is convinced that it owns the streets and the violence option, because for decades it has, now with support from the DNC and the media. We've allowed it. That has to change.

I agree, #13. We are far past the ballot box solution. When our elections became open fraud, all such solutions went out the window. As to talking about anything else, forgot about anything like social media, smartphones, or the internet at all. It's nothing but a giant data collection vacuum for the NSA and the deep state. Look at what they are doing to justify keeping the J6 people in the gulag - using location data from cell phones, and social media postings about people merely concerned about the direction of their country. The PIAPS once said that dissent was the highest form of patriotism. Now, dissent lands you in jail, just like in any other communist society. This author is about 10 years behind the times on where we are in America. Organizations like BLM and Antifa are the Sturmabteilung rabble rousers of the 21st Century. In the 30s, they were out pounding communists. Now, they ARE the communists.

As the California recall referendum approaches, we know that the leftist California gang determined to entrench Gov. Gavin Newsom in power no matter how unpopular he is with voters, and no matter how much they want him out, has been busy. So here's the latest rig they've cooked up, exposed very well by an apparently concerned liberal named Jenner Asper. Seems the envelope to the state's mail-in ballots, which have already gone out except reportedly to people who signed the recall referendum petition, contains two holes. Those two holes expose the contents of the one-vote ballot in exactly the right strategic place.

Though removal from office once was unthinkable, Joe Biden has lost the support of most of the key actors whose support helped him win the presidency, and whose cooperation is essential to maintaining the illusion that he is capable of fulling the duties of president of the United States. (snip) Democrat officeholders now understand that they are at risk of losing their next election thanks to his sullying of the brand of the party that foisted an already-senile placeholder on the public. In the wake of the Afghanistan debacle, demands have arisen in Congress for President Biden to resign or to be removed via the 25th Amendment. Elements of the formerly pro-Biden media have joined in the condemnation. Many silent Democrat office holders likely want Biden out, as they fear the systemic incompetence of his administration will bring them down come 2022. But Joe can not resign or be fired. The Democrat high command will not let either happen (snip) As soon as Kamala Harris takes the presidential oath, the vice-presidency is left vacant. In that case a tie vote means the legislation, resolution, or confirmation under consideration fails.

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said regarding Biden's unconditional surrender to the Taliban, and it's only the first week. Bookshelves will be filled with analyses of these events, and we won't understand their full ramifications for decades. My two cents, for what they're worth, are that the left doesn't consider the fall of Kabul and the betrayal of our allies to be a tragedy. Rather, this is deliberate foreign policy strategy, and it's right on track. The pattern is clear for those who wish to see. Simply put, the left thinks America is not only evil, but irredeemably so
