When In Doubt, Blame A Republican For
COVID Deaths

Throughout the COVID crisis, we’ve witnessed an amazing display of leftist logic. No matter the circumstances, Republicans were always at fault. When the coronavirus first swept the nation in early 2020, the deaths were concentrated almost entirely in the country’s liberal enclaves: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania. And we know a big reason: Democratic governors in those states panicked and ordered nursing homes to take sick elderly out of hospitals,

False. There was no panic. There were sick people who needed to be dumped. So dump them in nursing homes, out of sight. Problem solved. Sick people = bad optics. Hide them. Not hospitals. They can be seen there. Out of sight.

#2, I think, to the leftist governors, it was more likely the opportunity to get rid of a bunch of the elderly who are no longer contributing to society and are receiving social security payments and other assistance. It freed up a lot of cash for purchasing votes from illegals and minorities.

For demo-rats just another “cash for clunkers” program ( pogram) .The nursing homes /hospitals all get $$$$ for the “care” .SEIU folk to the max there . If the ill recovered , it was mandatory they be returned to the nursing homes ..isolated , and most died alone ..the horror was hidden and should not be forgotten. -there are many many in goobermint who profited, insider trading , tips and outright payments, patents . . Hey look reichstag fire 1/6 ..no time to investigate the real criminals who trashed our people and our Constitution in their hatred &power lust

Two Charts Destroy Big Lie About ‘Climate
Change’ And Wildfires

It’s that time of year again, the season of headlines routinely screaming about “record” amounts of acreage burned from out-of-control wildfires caused by, of course, “climate change.” But is it true? Is global warming driving a surge in wildfires? The answer is no. The media started again this week with the release of the United Nation’s latest dire climate change report, based on the same faulty models and filled with more apocalyptic predictions that won’t come true.

Another “progressive” politician has ordered the people she believes are her subjects to wear masks indoors. For safety’s sake? Let’s not fool ourselves. As if following the Petty Tyrants chapter from the Democratic Party playbook, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown announced Tuesday that Oregonians, vaccinated or not, will again have to cover their faces in all indoor public spaces. Because she’s smarter and just more sensible than those living under her rule.

The United Nations issued yet one more climate report Monday. It’s best ignored. Of course the Democratic Party and its media department, always looking for a Reichstag fire, have weaponized it. The hysterical responses to the Summary for Policymakers from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Sixth Assessment Report were exactly what we expected. “A Hotter Future Is Certain, Climate Panel Warns. But How Hot Is Up to Us,” says the New York Times’ screamer headline. The BBC dutifully quotes U.N. Secretary General António Guterres, a member of Portugal’s Socialist Party, who said the report “is a code red for

Among some groups, one of the main criticisms of recent state election reform efforts has been that they are racially motivated, intended to keep minorities from voting. New polling data from I&I/TIPP show Americans once again sharply split on the issue. The I&I/TIPP Poll asked the following question: “To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement: State election reforms like voter ID laws are racist.” The results are decidedly mixed. While a plurality of 45% agree

In eight years, half of American car buyers will be forced to purchase overpriced, underperforming electric cars they don’t want, courtesy of the federal government and a compliant auto industry. That, at least, is what President Joe Biden announced at the White House on Thursday, and it’s just as we predicted in this space three months ago. With a wave of his pen, Biden ordered that 50% of new cars and trucks sold by 2030 are to be electric. Since the auto companies already have their 2022 model year cars in production, that means they have less than eight years

To anyone even remotely acquainted with events of the last year and a half, it should be no surprise that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is being asked now even by his own party to resign. What’s disturbing is that Democrats didn’t do it sooner. After being the media’s most coddled, falsely praised politician in America, nearly impervious to any and all criticisms, a new report alleges that Cuomo engaged in serial criminal behavior while governor. “The independent investigation has concluded that

The California gubernatorial recall election was a dull affair that looked to be a loser for those who want to remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office. Then Larry Elder entered the race. Now we get to see how ever-so-tolerant, diversity-obsessed Californians deal with the angst of seeing a black man with a serious chance on the Sept. 14 ballot. No one would shake up single-party California more than Elder, a talk show host – the “Sage of South Central” – who is also a small business owner, author, and columnist.

CNN might be a horribly biased and woefully unreliable news organization these days, but its reporters do know how to convey the White House propaganda well. Case in point is the story posted on CNN’s website over the weekend about how the Biden administration is desperately trying to get the news media to stop playing up the risk of the Delta variant. “The White House is frustrated with what it views as alarmist, and in some instances flat-out misleading, news coverage about the Delta variant,” reported Oliver Darcy over the weekend.

Democrats advertised the Jan. 6 commission as an effort to ”investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack.” But in today’s highly charged partisan world, few believe that this is the commission’s genuine concern, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Poll. The poll, which was taken after the first day of the commission’s hearings, asked a straightforward question: “How likely is it that the Jan. 6 commission will make a genuine effort to uncover the truth?”

Months after President Joe Biden supposedly “rescued” the country from the COVID-19 pandemic and promised that he’d bring the country together, how is the nation doing? Well, there are several indicators on the rise. Unfortunately, they are all indicators of trouble. The news Thursday that the GDP gained 6.5% in the second quarter (the first full quarter since Biden signed his American Rescue Plan) is good. But it is well below economists’ forecasts. The Blue Chip Consensus forecast was above 9%,

The University of Wisconsin–Madison moved the former Chamberlin Rock, an object that had become a painful symbol of racism to generations of students, to a site off the main campus on August 6. The rock had sat at the crest of Observatory Hill since 1925. That same year, it was referred to in a newspaper headline by a deeply offensive nickname that included a racial slur. The derogatory nickname was commonly used at the time to refer to any large, dark rock.

The Supreme Court denied Thursday the petition of eight Indiana University students asking to block the school’s requirement that students receive the COVID vaccine as a condition of fall enrollment. Newly confirmed conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett was charged with reviewing the legal challenge to the college’s rule and refused to block it. No other justices on the bench offered a dissenting opinion. The case originated when a group of Indiana students asked the court for an emergency order striking down the mandate, claiming that the potential harm of inoculation exceeded the merits of protection against the disease for their age demographic.
