Narrative Collapse

Humans are natural storytellers. Much of our daily discourse is the telling of the mundane tales that constitute our lives. Those stories usually support in some way our shared beliefs. The story you tell about the two obese people raiding the buffet is not about the facts, but the shared beliefs regarding moderation and dignity. Your story signals information about you, and the receiver signals back.

What's collapsing is trust. Particularly trust in experts and trust in government.

The collapse is not a singular issue related to Covid. The collapse is all-encompassing. It began with an election that many people believe was blatantly fraudulent (a demented plagiarist campaigns from his basement and gets more votes than Obama). Capital police openly kill an unarmed woman in what is being described as an insurrection where none of those instigating the supposed insurrection had any pitchforks or weapons. The FBI and DOJ have been turned into political weapons to be used against a former president and his supports. The list goes on and on and all know it. The collapse might best be described as cratered.

Overall, I agree with the article. I do question one point: Is it accurate to say that the majority of people hospitalized with Covid have been vaccinated? That is not what I have heard. I have heard just the opposite, i.e., that the majority of those hospitalized with Covid have NOT been vaccinated. Perhaps I've got my facts wrong.

Re #4. Dr. Malone was interviewed by Italian journalists and they reported "40-60% of hospitalized COVID patients had been vaccinated". So, possibly a majority, or nearly so. Dr. Malone pointed out, rightly do, that with ~80% of people vaccinated from their population, if the shot did absolutely nothing, you would expect ~80% of the patients to have had the shot. Since the number is more like 50% (according to the Italian journalist, I have not verified), then there is at least some effect, reducing from 80% down to 50%. But, clearly the story that the shot is "98% effective" (please define "effective") isn't fitting the facts that we have. And Dr. Malone pointed out that there are multiple peer reviewed research papers showing that the spike protein by itself (which these mRNA shots program your cells to manufacture) is toxic in many ways. Their narrative is BS. We have been lied to by pretty much everyone at the CDC, especially Dr. Fraud. And certainly the Big Pharma PR folks, too.

The whole Biden administration narrative has been built on (1)Trump bad and (2) Covid and their plan to eradicate it, which some very eminent medical experts are telling us is impossible. As an example, Dr. Robert Malone reminded that we have never eradicated polio. We have never found a successful vaccine for the common cold, the flu (it too mutates/changes every season), HIV… The only success they point to is smallpox, which was also easier to isolate because of its highly visible symptoms. Biden & Co. employed and promoted anyone who would say what they wanted said, which is why eminent doctor Makary and others said Dr. Walensky (CDC), for all of her qualifications, was “reading what the administration puts in front of her”… As the article ends, the author sees that the Biden administration’s flimsy, mendacious narrative could be their worst enemy. Their downfall.

A long narrative that says little of importance. SO what, people tell stories, some people LIE and some do not. And the result is we are where we are and nothing has changed except we now have more Liars than before. Kind of like cleaning the barn...you start with a small pile of BS and before long it grows to be a mountain...

On Friday, a retired top Air Force intelligence analyst stated with certainty during an interview that special forces had secured a CIA-run facility in Germany that had computers showing election manipulation. If this report is real, we are witnessing the biggest coup attempt, sabotage, and treason in American history. No matter what, though, because this report is out there and comes from serious people, it deserves serious investigation.

Former NBC news anchor Matt Lauer claimed that the rape allegations from his former NBC News co-worker Brooke Nevils are “outrageous” and “categorically false,” in a statement, Wednesday. In the letter, which was published by Variety, Lauer claimed his “silence has been a mistake,” and described the allegations as “dangerous and defamatory.” “In a new book, it is alleged that an extramarital, but consensual, sexual encounter I have previously admitted having, was in fact an assault. It is categorically false, ignores the facts, and defies common sense,” Lauer expressed.

Over the weekend, the American public finally learned that the vaccinated were being forced to wear masks again because of a massive outlier in Massachusetts where vaccinated people at a beach gathering had a high viral load in their nasal pharynx. And when press on the data during an appearance on CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci claimed that viral load meant the vaccinated were spreading it at the same rate as the unvaccinated. But Fauci would be later proven wrong by a high-ranking Israeli public health official and a former FDA commissioner. CBS moderator John Dickerson began by asking Fauci what new understanding

U.S. Olympics hammer thrower Gwen Berry now says that she will protest against the United States on the medal stand to “represent the oppressed peoples” if she medals this week. Berry raised eyebrows by refusing to stand at attention for the national anthem during the U.S. Olympic Trials in June when she won the bronze in the hammer throw. But until this weekend, Berry would not say if she intended to mount any protests if she medals at the Games in Tokyo. On Sunday, Berry put to rest any questions about her intentions. Mexico has barred the United States from sending migrant families back across the border, using emergency measures put in place at the start of the pandemic, the Washington Examiner has learned, a development that threatens to exacerbate the border crisis. The decision to prohibit a great number of non-Mexican migrant families from returning to Mexico is expected to force Border Patrol to release more people into the U.S. because it lacks space at existing facilities to hold the thousands coming into custody daily.
