The American Descent into Madness

Original Article

Posted By: Imright, 7/19/2021 7:39:57 AM

Nations have often gone mad in a matter of months. The French abandoned their supposedly idealistic revolutionary project and turned it into a monstrous hell for a year between July 1793 and 1794. After the election of November 1860, in a matter of weeks, Americans went from thinking secession was taboo to visions of killing the greatest number of their fellow citizens on both sides of the Mason-Dixon line. Mao’s China went from a failed communist state to the ninth circle of Dante’s Inferno, when he unleashed the Cultural Revolution in 1966.In the last six months, we have seen absurdities never quite witnessed in modern America.

It certainly looks like we are on the brink. After generations of gradual 'frog in the water' warming we are due for a roller coaster of a ride. The Chinese curse comes to mind - may you live in interesting times!

Slightly tangential, I was watching video of the festivities in Cuba this morning and reflecting on how many people might receive that differently than I. When you are convinced that the authorities in the US drag people off, beat them and outright murder them indiscriminately you aren't likely to come away with the proper cautionary message when watching totalitarianism in action.

What VDH leaves out is that a nation that no longer recognizes the most basic and fundamental biological reality has abandoned reason. We are lost in Tulgey Woods. I am reminded of Major Clipton in "The Bridge on the River Kwai", standing in a state of disbelief surveying the carnage and proclaiming "Madness...madness!"

VDH paints a grim picture (its hyperrealist and surreal at the same time). But I’m afraid he’s overly optimistic about the situation correcting itself. Too many think things are just fine and since orange man gone, can only get better. We’re headed for irreparable damage.

I take very seriously whatever VDH has to say - and agree with him. We are knee-deep in 'it' and headed for waist-deep. Biden is doing his level best to continue this frightening trend in America. He is just what American Leftists and their lapdogs (major networks and most of the Media) needed to further their goals of control and command over the rest of us.

Yes, poster #8. And if those who work in the media and academia who are so furiously working to bring this nation to it's knees, knew anything about the history of marxism, they would know they will be the first to be thrown in the gulags or put up against brick walls. Their usefulness is over.

It’s hard to read VDH these days. On one hand, it’s unsettling to see the actions of the Left documented so thoroughly. On the other hand, you know he’s right - and that you need to see what he has to say.

Hanson pretty much hit the nail on the head. Our nation has been on a slow boil for quite some time. It got turned up when Obama became President. It was turned up further when Trump became President. The flames became even higher under Biden. I fear we will discover how high those flames can actually go. Our enemies have determined the vulnerabilities in a representative Democracy. it goes down to the voter. Indoctrinate voters to think certain ways, and they will vote accordingly. How else do we get America haters in Congress. Add in the fraudulent elections, and seats going to the highest bidder, and that explains where we are at today.

The optimistic VDH concludes "millions will collectively decide they have no choice but to push back". So far...citizens are locked in the District of Columbia Gulag under ridiculous "insurrection" charges with no bail and some in solitary. And the "millions" stare past them. We have the "patriots" clamoring to water the tree of liberty with tyrants' blood...oddly, none have mustered at the village green, apparently not really serious in their encouragements enough to take the lead. Can't figure out who the enemy really is...the "Back the Blue" police, the awakening armed forces, or Federal agents from myriad agencies known to be compromised. Government had flipped the script on American political thought. Once it was the citizenry taught to distrust government and its power. It's the basis for the checks and balances written into the system. Government today is the core of daily life, admit it or not. It taxes on the ability to pay. It subsidizes this cause to the detriment of that one. It manipulates the economy. It takes TRILLIONS and spends them over decades "nation building" while young soldiers die in the effort...and to what end? It spends more TRILLIONS of borrowed money to subsidize sloth and disrupt the labor market and force "green" policies, among other beneficiaries. And then there is the past Presidential matter what any audit reports, few will be convinced or satisfied as to the outcome, then or now. When conservatives get woke...

When you look at all that has happened in the USA over the last 18 months, who would benefit from: 1) Unleashing a wicked virus during an election year as 'cover' to bring about emergency action. 2) Secretaries of State, put in place by George Soros and his SoS Project, by virtue of the virus, un-Constitutionally change State election rules, thereby opening the door to widespread election fraud. 3) FBI/DOJ do not show any interest in the multi-State apparently orchestrated election night "anomalies" such as the midnight, "Stop the counting" that went on. There is plenty of RICO evidence here that they refuse to investigate. 4) Anyone who mentions 2020 Election FRAUD is "sanctioned" and "cancelled" outright by the MSM. 5) A China-friendly pResident is instantiated, who immediately removes sanctions on China put in place by the legitimate President. 6) Social-Media are beginning to invoke the Chinese Communist Party "Social Credit Score" system on Americans. 7) Weakening the Military begins. 8) Gun-grabbing begins All of this requires money and tremendous influence to pull off. This country is being destroyed from within by the Chinese Communist Party who BOUGHT quisling politicians for a few coin. They know not what they do. The States must call a Constitutional Convention!

#14; I hear frequent calls for a States' convention. I think that cure would be worse than the cold. Our current Constitution is THE model for restrained government. It's just being allowed to burn. With the actors now at the levers of government, there couldn't possibly be a new constitution that didn't have 'escape clauses' for each and every whim of government fancy. No guns (nation health), no free speech (hateful) no private property,, No assembly (white supremacy) .. ,etc: A Fully Centralized Federal Government. MAGA
