Virginia Democratic nominee for governor Terry McAuliffe doesn’t think much of CRT criticism. In fact, he thinks it’s a “right-wing conspiracy” involving former president Donald Trump and the GOP nominee for governor, Glenn Youngkin.Fox News obtained audio that revealed McAuliffe’s fear of the issue doing damage to his chances of winning. By trying to dismiss criticisms of critical race theory as a “conspiracy theory,” he’s trying to delegitimize his critics while downplaying the significance of CRT.(Video) A woman had asked him at a June 4 event: “I was just wondering – with all of the Republicans talking about critical race theory,

McAuliffe is a Clinton worshipper. From an article dated October, 2016 - "Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s political action committee donated nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe--the wife of an FBI official who helped oversee the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state, the Wall Street Journal first reported."

Lord have mercy... Virginia had some founding-father standouts among its early Governors, but has had some profoundly idiotic Democrat governors in the past 50 years, and Terry McAuliffe was one of them already. He must think critical race theory means being critical of racism.

So what if it is a right wing conspiracy? In the history of modern nation-wide polling, using statistically valid sampling and controlling for extraneous variables, the country has never been anything but right of center, so don't the democrats believe in democracy as they so vociferously claim? Of course they don't but they like to pretend otherwise.

Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) said Friday on ABC’s “The View” that Democrats were “trying” to punish former President Donald Trump for alleged crimes with a commission to investigate the Capitol riot. Co-host Joy Behar said, “Congressman, we’re just beginning to find out how Trump may have tried to undermine our democracy as president. There are allegations that his Justice Department subpoenaed phone records of House Democrats investigating his potential ties with Russia. Then emails were released showing how he pressured the Justice Department to challenge the 2020 election results based on his voter fraud lies which one DOJ official called pure insanity.

Joe Manchin’s proposed framework includes both Democratic and Republican priorities, including outlawing partisan gerrymandering, adopting voter ID, expanding early voting and limiting no-excuse absentee voting. But any voting bill needs 60 votes to overcome a Senate filibuster, meaning that 10 Republicans would have to vote in favor even if every Democrat supports it.“Senate Democrats seem to have reached a so-called ‘compromise’ election takeover among themselves,” McConnell said during weekly his Senate Republican leadership press conference.
