An ammunition shortage that began during the coronavirus pandemic and the heated 2020 election reportedly continues to plague manufacturers as Americans remain committed to stockpiling as many guns and as much ammo as possible.“It’s widely known the ammunition shortages continue. There is still a lot of interest in firearms,” Smith & Wesson CEO Mark Smith said this week to Fox Business Network. The data backs his statement. A survey conducted by the market research firm Southwick Associates in April found that, out of 1,800 ammo customers surveyed, 75 percent had already experienced out-of-stock issues this year, down by only 5 percent from the record high recorded in 2020.

“Father Knows Best,” now that is a totally radical idea to utter in 2021 even on Father’s Day. The theme song and mid-century look of the original TV show may be a true throwback, but it also involved a literal truism. The sitcom began in 1954 and produced 203 episodes all the way up until late 1960. Set in the Midwest, it starred handsome and debonair Robert Young as an insurance agent, Jim Anderson, a.k.a. Father. His wife Margaret, and three children rounded out the cast. Father regularly offered sage advice advising his children (Snip) Fathers knew best: they were wise, authoritative, caring, loving, and essential.

Sixty Catholic Democrats in Congress have written an open “Statement of Principles” explaining why the Catholic Church should not deny Holy Communion to professed Catholics who promote abortion. The open letter was published online on June 18 to coincide with the June meeting of the U.S. bishops, who discussed, among other things, the question of “Eucharistic coherence” and conditions under which a Catholic should not present himself to receive Holy Communion.“As legislators in the U.S. House of Representatives, we work every day to advance respect for life and the dignity of every human being,” the letter states.

President Joe Biden attended Mass on Saturday afternoon near his Delaware home ignoring a growing controversy as U.S. Catholic bishops try to block him receiving Communion because of his liberal stance on abortion. He walked through the churchyard of St Joseph on the Brandywine before entering the church for its 4pm service. He is a regular at the church when spending the weekend in Wilmington, and it was a familiar moment on a day marked by heartbreak.

Georgia's secretary of state is poised to remove more than 100,000 "outdated" names from the state's voter registration rolls unless those on the list take immediate action.Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger released the full list of people who could be affected by the registration update on Friday."Making sure Georgia's voter rolls are up to date is key to ensuring the integrity of our elections," the Republican said in a statement. "There is no legitimate reason to keep ineligible voters on the rolls."Some critics, such as Gerald Griggs with the Atlanta NAACP, described the move as a voter purge. Griggs said thousands of voters were improperly removed from the 2019 list.

SAN DIEGO--Mike Davis has seen a lot of things in his 32 years with the United States Golf Association, including hundreds of rounds as an inside-the-ropes official. But he never had quite the view he was afforded Saturday morning at Torrey Pines: as a caddie.Davis, the outgoing CEO of the USGA, worked inside the ropes for Jason Gore, a former PGA Tour player who now works as a player relations director for the organization.Because an odd number of players made the 36-hole cut, Gore was tapped to play the role of a marker alongside 19-year-old Akshay Bhatia, who was in the first group, at 7:10 a.m. local time. What started out

On Friday’s broadcast of FNC’s “Hannity,” Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) defended the GOP’s stance on borders and slammed Democrats for deeming it as racist.“It’s ridiculous,” he said. “I mean, exactly as the AG Brnovich was talking about, they wouldn’t even get a participation trophy. The closest thing she’s come to our southern border is the Texas roadhouse in Washington, D.C. We have a real crisis going on and it’s not the fact that we’re xenophobic, when we don’t want people immigrating here to America. It’s the fact that there are paramilitary operations in the form of cartels who are capable of

Dozens of House Republicans are demanding President Biden remove Vice President Harris from her leading role handling the US migrant crisis, citing her “inaction” on the issue.“Despite being in the midst of a border crisis this country has not seen in two decades, Vice President Harris has not yet shown adequate interest in observing this crisis first-hand,” wrote Wisconsin Republican Glenn Grothman in a letter President Biden signed by 56 House lawmakers.“In the 85 days since the Vice President has been tasked with solving this crisis, she has yet to visit the border and meet with Border Patrol agents,

A Justice Department dossier called the "National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism" was released this week with much fanfare by Attorney General Merrick B. Garland, but one political scientist warns the actual text proves even the most casual critic of the Biden administration could be ensnared in its definition, and therefore face punishment. On "Tucker Carlson Tonight," Nicholas Giordano – whom host Tucker Carlson described as a government document expert – and who is also a professor at Suffolk Community College in Selden, N.Y., warned that Garland's document is "one of the most concerning" he has ever studied.
