An Asian man was pushed onto the subway tracks in front of an oncoming train in Queens Monday morning, according to cops and police sources. The 36-year-old victim was at the 21st Street–Queensbridge F train station around 7:45 a.m. when another man shoved him, according to authorities and the sources. The train went into emergency mode and didn’t hit the victim, police sources said.(Snip)The suspect, who fled to the street, is described as a man between 20 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-11, last seen wearing a mask over his face and a black hooded sweater and black pants.

Police are on the lookout for "a man" with a bLACK hooded sweater and bLACK pants. That should narrow it down a bit. Asians are now a protected minority, so unlike when a WHITE person is attacked, the news includes that information in the headline.

Another Son of Obama being disrespected by an Asian man standing on the subway platform in space that he might have wanted to stand in. That was disrespecting him so he had no choice but to push him on to the tracks! It is years of oppression that made him do it! Those mean Asian's, always standing in black folks spaces on the subway platform.

How dare they say it was a man. They don't know that. They are jumping to conclusions based upon what THEY think a male looks like. It could be a transie or cross-dresser. Even if they catch the perpetrator, he/she/it will be whatever gender he/she/it decides to be. And that will be the final word. So get used to it.

Since if the criminal were anything other than black it would be clearly reported, the assumption is necessary, and necessarily proved out. So what is the effect of having one minority that is exempt from being identified? Does it not slur every black person? Does "black male" become the default for "criminal"? That bit of wink-wink patronizing in the stylebook needs to be rethought.

The 21st/Queensbridge subway station serves the largest housing project in New York City. The Post -- which has suddenly become very chaste aboiut stating the race of assailants -- presumably knows its readers understand what the "21st and Queensbrige" stop is. How come the victims of these obvious hate crimes are being identified by the media by their race, example the victim here as being an Asian man; but the perpetrators are identified just as being a “man” usually wearing a hoodie? But as they say a picture is worth a thousand words!
