How a confederate flag painted on
a rock could cost a mom her kid

A New York mom is caught between a rock and an appellate court. The upstate woman has been told she needs to ditch a driveway decoration painted with a confederate flag or risk losing custody of her mixed race child—even though a family court judge didn’t consider it to be an issue when it was raised during trial. “Given that the child is of mixed race, it would seem apparent that the presence of the flag is not in the child’s best interests, as the mother must encourage and teach the child to embrace her mixed race identity, rather than thrust her into a world

Comments:

A rock most divisive. Some doubt that we're living in Clown World, if not full-on end times.

Whoever thought this up should study history. Some blacks fought with the south. A Confederate Flag is not a symbol of hate it's a cultural thing. It's funny Mexican flags, Rainbow flags, other flags are acceptable, but a Confederate flag is Verboten.

So now Government owns your Race. And your child's race more than you 'own' your child. maybe some kids will want to 'identify' with some other random race. We are letting children decide what color unicorns they want to be. And gov't is forcing us all to accept it.

That kid would not have given that rock the time of day. We have to teach 'em young how to be offended and triggered by every little thing. Sounds like Dad is sick of paying child support. He probably has the New York white liberal enablers on his side in the courtroom.

And while we're at it, how about just letting kids identify as young American citizens? What on earth is a mixed-race identity? That is almost as silly as the fools who claim there are 100 different genders. Just let kids be kids.

The government owns you when you divorce. My ex and I had kids but made agreements before our divorce . Things went well until he married a family law attorney and she decided to change things up. How crack ho’s can keep their kids but me, a church going woman, could lose shared custody, well, I still don’t understand. Friends in high places is my only explanation. It’s a BS system and I went through it again with my husband and his situation. His ex always sat there with the asst prosecuting (no charge of course) atty and he would have to hire a lawyer if he needed help. His youngest is turning 19 this year so we’re almost done with child support. The thing that really gets my goat is he always paid for their cellphones and bought them cars when they got their drivers licenses but never got credit for any of that cause it’s considered a gift. When one daughter was killed in a car crash my husband paid for all of the funeral expenses, How does one even bring that up in court? He says he doesn’t care and to me it’s the principle not the cash. His ex has never worked since the divorce, unless posting on Facebook is considered a job. Thanks for letting me rant. These unfair situations really hit a nerve. I’m triggered lol.

I hope that this mother teaches her child about this disgusting leftist overreach that illustrates how the left-ists seek to dominate, subjugate, and tyranize those who disagree with their abusive attacks on all who do not agree with their outlandish power grabbing. I am so sick of being told what to think, what to believe, what to do, what to say, etc. These disgusting liberal/progressive "Wannabe's" have turned our "used to be" free country into their own play land of pathetic attempted domination. I am on the verge of leaving the country to find somewhere (hopefully) place where I can once again breathe free. Don't know if one exists, but if one does, it certainly isn't here.

You need to read an article by an ACLU lawyer who defended the Nazi Party in Skokie, Ill. and what he has to say about preventing people from speaking and acting. If the ACLU could represent the Nazi's then why can't they represent the American people being attacked by the leftist today. No, I am not defending the Nazi party and what they stand for, but I am for free speech and against prior restraint of speech and the condemnation of the Historical Confederate flag, etc. https://www.aclu.org/issues/free-speech/rights-protesters/skokie-case-how-i-came-represent-free-speech-rights-nazis

The New York Yankees now have seven confirmed cases of coronavirus among coaches and staff—a surprising fact given that all of the infected personnel have been vaccinated. Pitching coach Matt Blake was the latest to be diagnosed with COVID-19, following third-base coach Phil Nevin, first-base coach Reggie Willits, and four unidentified staffers. All seven received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which requires only a single shot, as opposed to the two-injection vaccines from pharmaceutical companies like Moderna and Pfizer. New York—New York City will continue to restrict use of plastic straws after the city council passed a new measure restricting their use in restaurants, bars and markets. The legislation, first introduced by Councilmember Rafael Espinal in 2018, bans the provision of single-use plastic stirrers and “splash sticks” of any kind, in addition to the limitation of straws. Beginning Nov. 1, places like restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery stores, delis and food trucks can no longer provide single-use plastic straws unless they actively request one. In that case, establishments will be required to provide a plastic straw free of charge, no questions asked.
