Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors has said Derek Chauvin's conviction was a 'victory in accountability' but George Floyd's murder and the cop killing of Ma'Khia Bryant prove the criminal justice system is 'broken' and should be abolished. Cullors, who set up BLM with Alicia Garza and Opal Tometi back in 2013, posted a video on Instagram Thursday where she told her 371,000 followers that now was the time to 'fight for more' and 'get us closer to a place where there are no jails or prisons or surveillance' in America. Chauvin was found guilty of all charges Tuesday in the murder of Floyd,

law enforcement, like education should be, is a local issue and a mandate from the federal government is a non-starter. most police departments, local and state resent the interference of the federal government but are bound by the local and/or state government to abide by some federal mandates with regard to crime reporting procedures and frequency. having anyone interfere in the business of any local or state law enforcement department is frowned upon and not wanted.

The only thing that this conviction shows is jury tampering. This was a product of Maxine Waters, BLM, Antifa, the democrat party and jurors that should not have been on the jury. The juror that confessed that she voted guilty because she was afraid of the riots, (1) should not have been on the jury and (2) gave Chauvin's attorney grounds for a mistrial or acquittal. What is puzzling about the interview she gave on TV is she now gave Chauvin's attorney to move on this case. Once the attorney does and it becomes a mistrial or acquittal, there will be riots. Is she that stupid or what?

What Patrisse Culoors wants is a clean landscape free from law and order using police and prisons. A place where feral Zulu blacks can roam and do as they wish to populations without consequence. Keep building statues of black thugs killed in the quest for freedom to be wild and crazy. No consequences for looting, arson, car jacking, drug dealing, murder and what ever else blacks do with their ruined lives. These people will never shoe horn or fit into American society nor do they want to.

Ok, have it your way Patridge. We will let blacks use counterfeit money and OD on drugs. We will let knife fights be the method that blacks settle disputes. The continued black on black crime and murders (like in Chicago) can accelerate unchecked. Police will no longer respond to black areas of town. Blacks can follow tribalism, kill each other and be happy. The only condition will be blacks must stay in their own community. No outside help. Live with it.

Writer Salena Zito best described the Rorschach test that Donald Trump represented. As she put it in 2016, “The press takes him literally, but not seriously; his supporters take him seriously, but not literally.” Now comes another presidential dilemma: What to make of the new and radical Joe Biden? On the surface, it seems an odd question about a 78-year-old man who has spent nearly 50 years in Washington. But the new Biden, the President Biden, doesn’t sound and act like the former senator and vice president. In fact, this Biden is so dramatically different that it’s not clear if we should take him either seriously or literally.

n the debate over whether one should or should not get the COVID vaccination, much has been said about the “science.” However, I’m not sure any encyclopedic knowledge of “science” is required to make this health decision. Simple statistical analysis should suffice to inform one’s ultimate decision. Statistics is primarily a study of probabilities. Fortunately, as regards COVID mortality rates, these probabilities are now known. That is, COVID mortality statistics broken down by age cohorts are now “known knowables.” For example, through statistics as of April 7, the odds an American under the age of 25 would die from COVID were 1-in-106,217.

Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources. There are a number of reasons why this will never happen, but a paper published last week by Center of the American Experiment argues that land use constraints are the most basic reason why wind and solar are inexorably destined to fail. The paper, titled Not In Our Backyard, is authored by
