The Ohio police officer who shot to death a black teenage girl in a disturbing encounter with a knife appears to be a military-trained marksman specializing in firing an assault rifle, according to a report Wednesday.
Columbus police officer Nicholas Reardon — who was placed on paid leave after fatally shooting 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant Tuesday — is a U.S. Air National Guardsman who received an expert marksman badge with a M4 Carbine rifle, according to the Daily Beast.
Reardon, who joined the department in 2019, is also the son of Air Force veteran and retired Columbus Division of Police

The left will turn that into him being a "trained killer" and a "human predator" blaming the military and the police department who hired him. The only way to combat humanists and communists is to get right back in their faces and say, "Nothing wrong was done here." Period over and out. No apologies, EVER!

Amazing!
Man starts yelling at the cop, "You killed my (F word) baby!" Which means he was standing there watching his "baby" trying to stab the other girl! And somehow it's the cop's fault that she's dead!
Absolutely insane!

Bryant was in full out angry killer mode. Look at the videos. Look at the still of her, her body attitude as the girl in pink was pinned on the car. That knife at the end of that powerful arm was going to eviscerate her. Fortunately he was a marksman who could get Bryant and not hit Bryant’s intended victim.
I am wondering about the tall black man who engaged with the first girl Bryant had attacked and then seemed to involve himself in the rest of the incident. Neighbor?

Not too shabby with a handgun either. But when forced to employ deadly force it is helpful if the officer doesn't miss. I look at the video and am amazed he missed the victim just inches away while placing 3 in the chest of the assailant.

Reardon is named. We have yet to hear the name of the Capitol Police lieutenant who murdered unarmed Ashli Babbitt.

I knew the officer could shoot but I was most impressed by his thinking process. As the first intended victim, a light-skinned girl, fell to the sidewalk at the officer's feet, she was also kicked in the head by a black male wearing jeans and a gray hoodie. This happened right in front of the officer but rather than be distracted, he kept his focus on the knife-wielding, out of control Ma'Khia, as she posed an even greater threat to the girl in pink. What I don't at all understand is why no one seems to have noticed, much less focused attention on the black male in the hoodie, who assaulted a young female within seconds of the officer's arrival. Who was he and why did he assault the female who was on video attempting to avoid a charging MaKhia and her knife? It appeared that the B/M kicked her twice while she was on the ground, the last kick certainly appeared capable of causing serious bodily injury or death which is the textbook definition in law enforcement for deadly force. Did his presence contribute to MaKhia being out of control? He was certainly not a passive bystander. What caused him to kick the intended victim of MaKhia's initial knife attack on the short videos? Will his acts of assault be acknowledged by the police investigators and will he be charged with assaulting a defenseless teenager? Why has this aspect of the event not been mentioned by the press, who have produced slow-motion images of the entire event?

To the man objecting to the shooting: Why didn't YOU stop her then? If she's "your baby"?
Or were you helping her attack the other girls?

Re #4, when you see the video taken by the neighbor across the street’s garage security cam, what do you think the big black guy in gray is up to? He seems to be on the side of the Bryant girl, and can be seen kicking her first victim, who is still on the ground. ????

Exactly as I posted the other day - - Reardon should have done what movie and TV sheriffs do - - just shot the knife from Ma'Kiah's hand. He shoulda just winged her!

#3 is right. They’ll take an expert rating with an M4, something done by yuge numbers of troops in the last 30 years (including yours truly) and turn it into some devilish plot to snipe at “innocent” people. Meanwhile, I wonder what Lon Horiuchi of Ruby Ridge infamy is doing these days?

He saved one life, maybe two. I’m getting very sick of this subcultural of lawlessness. The media is complicit in this sad state of affairs accusing whites and police being racist. Cops go where the crimes are being committed. Heather Mac Donald has a brilliant book on the truth regarding blacks and police. Search PragerU And her name. 5 minute watch.

Maybe it was Bryant's father who kicked the girl, because he immediately said," You shot my baby", or maybe he was her boyfriend, or maybe he was both.

Meaning he could hit the violent attacker, and NOT hit the victim who was very close.
"Hero Officer Saves Two from Enraged Knife-Wielding Killer".
That's the correct headline.

Geez, what a bunch of maroons these people are. All that means is that he went through basic training and got a high score on the range. "Specializing in firing an assault rifle," my patootie.

As these murderous incidents continue to occur in Black Communities where people feel empowered by the leftist and liberal Democrats. More and more ignorant Americans of all ethnicities and races, who don’t have a clue about the routine homicidal and violent behavior that has been playing out in Black Communities for decades, should be able to figure out that to a substantial percentage of low information Black folks residing in those communities, the so-called Marquess of Queensbury rules or anything like those rules of fair play generally do not apply in their culture that is known to tag little kids who try to learn to read as “acting White”.

Another drone "journalist" posting the stupidest observation ever. "... appears to be a military-trained marksman specializing in firing an assault rifle, according to a report Wednesday."
When she's done watching her bondage porn, she really needs to do a little research on the training of men and women in the United States Armed Forces. They all are trained to fire military weapons with the scary black rifle primary among them.
What a stupid, vapid twit.

On the long view video from across the street, there was an officer who confronted/tried to control the black man who kicked Bryant’s first victim, who was on the ground. The body cam on Officer Reardon - shown yesterday by the acting chief of police - showed that he shot after getting out of a squad car, from more of a distance.
As for that “my baby” remark, the girls live in a foster home. Bryant was placed there by a Franklin County agency. The foster mother was at work. Maybe he’s a boyfriend? Why didn’t he control his knife-wielding “baby?

Brilliant, now they get to diss both the police and the military and as an added bonus, wait for it... the officer was an expert with an assault rifle, even though he shot the Cape Buffalo with a 9 mill. Terrific bit of reporting. You forgot to call for the military to stop training expert shooters, we are too dangerous.

So what does that have to do with anything. So he's a military-trained marksman specializing in firing an assault rifle. Ok, and he used a handgun. So now what's next genius. And the girl he killed was an expert in the use of a knife. Moral of story, don't bring a knife to a gun fight. Got it....

#7, he has been named as Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd. Shout it from the rooftops and insert it into every applicable post. He shot an unarmed Trump supporter and he will get away with it unless we demand otherwise. Post it on Fakebook and see how long it stays up.

Name your kid something like Ma’Khia and you might as well go ahead and make the prison reservation or buy the body bag as soon as she's born.
