Biden Admin To Put 80,000 Migrants In
Hotels At $352 Per Bed Per Night

Original Article

The White House is spending close to $352 a night to provide beds to the estimated 80,000 migrant families expected to flood the border from now until September, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement document obtained by the Washington Examiner. The contract rents out hotels in Texas and Arizona for six and a half months — 199 days. In these hotels, 1,239 beds will be occupied by those participating in the border surge, which the government dubs “emergency family reception sites.” After three days of sleeping in the hotel, migrant families who entered the country illegally will then be freed into the United States with a court date to

3 nights and they are essentially free with a notice to appear for their hearing. Then Pfffft Gone.

When the administration's priorities are as expressed as clearly as this, it's no wonder the migrants keep coming.

I just checked Mr Google. In NYC, the average hotel room is $142 per night. In LA, the average hotel room is $131 per night. In SF, the average hotel room is $117 per night. In Vegas, it's $136 per night. Okay, the folks gotta eat. You can ear pretty darn well for $40 a day, even in those cities. $352 a night seems pretty excessive, although I guess that includes the cost of the diversity outreach and LGBTWXYZ office for the new bureaucracy handling this program. But knowing a number of hoteliers, they probably are expecting significant property damage from these guests and are insisting on compensation for such damage by these folks.

$352.00 per night per person or per room? Either way, that is a lot of money for a hotel room. Are they putting them up at luxury hotels with full amenities in the best part of town? How about the Motel 6 for $49.99 per night on the edge of town. Are the hotels being used owned by Illinois Governor Pritzker (Hyatt Hotels)?

I guess bathing suits and and workout attire are included as are the robe and slippers. Of course, the cost could be to completely eliminate the diseases left behind in the rooms these new Americans bring into the country. Eliminating bedbugs and illnesses which were at one point eliminated in this country are now back because of these new Americans.

Obviously this administration isn't the least bit conflicted about who deserves to come first on their watch. And it appears not to be concerned about the next election, which seems awfully curious. Hard to believe the majority of our citizens (those who are law abiding) approve of their president lavishing illegal aliens with hotel stays and airline flights to any destination they choose, while he and his Dem pals plot to raise taxes on ordinary Americans. This is in your face abusive to middle America.

When I was in the Army and on active duty tours, we had to submit receipts to our unit to be paid by the government regarding travel and lodging expenses. I would never, ever have stayed in a hotel this expensive and charged it to Uncle Sam. And I doubt many of my fellow soldiers at that time would have done so. And if I had done so, the unit administrator would have kicked my butt. And we were serving our country. These people are NOT serving our country. And they are being treated like royalty. White House reverses course on refugee

The White House Friday reversed course on refugee admissions, after an earlier announcement maintaining a controversial Trump-era refugee cap was met with disdain by Democrats and immigration activists. Following a day of blowback from Democrats, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced Biden would set a new, higher ceiling in May after initially saying it would keep the current 15,000 limit. The initial decision had led to widespread complaints from Democratic lawmakers and groups representing refugees, who had already been urging Biden to lift the ceiling put in place by former President Trump. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), who came to the United States as a refugee, called it "shameful."

A group of Democrats on Thursday unveiled their bill to expand the Supreme Court, but party leaders showed little support and Republicans assailed the proposal as radical. The “Judiciary Act of 2021” would add four seats to the nation’s top court, effectively flipping the balance from 6–3 in favor of conservative-appointed justices to 7–6 in the opposite direction. The rationale fueling the proposal is that Republicans confirmed Justice Amy Coney Barrett after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died last year. The GOP broke no rules or laws, but some Democrats were bitter that they did not hold the seat open for whoever won the 2020 election.

CBS News deceptively cropped body camera footage that showed a 13-year-old boy holding a gun before he was fatally shot by Chicago police in March. A law enforcement officer fatally shot Adam Toledo during an encounter in response to gunshots heard on a police scanner. Police said Toledo ignored “verbal directions, fled, used significant force, and was armed with a semiautomatic pistol,” which is why the officer fired. Body cam footage released this week appears to show Toledo holding a weapon moments before he was shot, but CBS News posted a clip to its website and Twitter page that cropped out the footage showing the teen’s alleged firearm.

The most glaring example involves Biden’s fact-challenged tirade against Georgia’s new voting law. At his first and only press conference, Biden declared the state’s efforts to protect against voter fraud were worse than Jim Crow, “un-American,” “sick,” and “despicable.” (This was the same press conference where moments later Biden bragged about how much time he’s spent with China’s genocidal communist dictator before calling him “a smart, smart guy.”)

The past year has shown that Fauci either has no idea what he’s talking about or is trying to advance an agenda that invariably has to do with maintaining the 2020 status quo of lockdowns, isolation, and masks.
