The White House is spending close to $352 a night to provide beds to the estimated 80,000 migrant families expected to flood the border from now until September, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement document obtained by the Washington Examiner.
The contract rents out hotels in Texas and Arizona for six and a half months — 199 days. In these hotels, 1,239 beds will be occupied by those participating in the border surge, which the government dubs “emergency family reception sites.” After three days of sleeping in the hotel, migrant families who entered the country illegally will then be freed into the United States with a court date to

When the administration's priorities are as expressed as clearly as this, it's no wonder the migrants keep coming.

Better check to see if any towels or bath mats remain, I’m sure they are attractive souvenirs.

I just checked Mr Google.
In NYC, the average hotel room is $142 per night.
In LA, the average hotel room is $131 per night.
In SF, the average hotel room is $117 per night.
In Vegas, it's $136 per night.
Okay, the folks gotta eat. You can ear pretty darn well for $40 a day, even in those cities.
$352 a night seems pretty excessive, although I guess that includes the cost of the diversity outreach and LGBTWXYZ office for the new bureaucracy handling this program.
But knowing a number of hoteliers, they probably are expecting significant property damage from these guests and are insisting on compensation for such damage by these folks.

$352.00 per night per person or per room? Either way, that is a lot of money for a hotel room. Are they putting them up at luxury hotels with full amenities in the best part of town? How about the Motel 6 for $49.99 per night on the edge of town. Are the hotels being used owned by Illinois Governor Pritzker (Hyatt Hotels)?

I guess bathing suits and and workout attire are included as are the robe and slippers. Of course, the cost could be to completely eliminate the diseases left behind in the rooms these new Americans bring into the country. Eliminating bedbugs and illnesses which were at one point eliminated in this country are now back because of these new Americans.

These are probably $117/night rooms, but the hotels know the gooberment has deep pockets so they charge whatever they want. The news gets more sickening as every day goes by.

Obviously this administration isn't the least bit conflicted about who deserves to come first on their watch.
And it appears not to be concerned about the next election, which seems awfully curious.
Hard to believe the majority of our citizens (those who are law abiding) approve of their president lavishing illegal aliens with hotel stays and airline flights to any destination they choose, while he and his Dem pals plot to raise taxes on ordinary Americans. This is in your face abusive to middle America.

The obscenities inherent in tiered assistance for foreign gate crashers compared to American homeless (many of whom suffer from mental illness) is off the scale by any measure of decency.
Vote the traitors and grifters out who have engineered and enabled this crime against Americans?
Not if they succeed in running another election as well as they did the last one...

If homeless Americans traveled to the border and called themselves illegal aliens, could they get the sweetheart hotel deal, too? Or is that only for actual illegal aliens?

When I was in the Army and on active duty tours, we had to submit receipts to our unit to be paid by the government regarding travel and lodging expenses. I would never, ever have stayed in a hotel this expensive and charged it to Uncle Sam. And I doubt many of my fellow soldiers at that time would have done so. And if I had done so, the unit administrator would have kicked my butt.
And we were serving our country. These people are NOT serving our country. And they are being treated like royalty. The mind reels!

There's a nice little all paid vacation for Americans. Cross into Mexico, illegally, drop off all your IDs, illegally cross back and intentionally get caught. Tell them you're mute and don't know sign language.

I’ve been working and paying taxes for 50 years and I’ve never been able to afford to stay in a hotel room which cost that much. When these “refugees” finally leave the hotels, they will need to be torn down and the land around them disinfected.

$352.00 will leave enough for a pretty good kickback to folks connected to the DC leftist and liberal Democrats since right now nobody is watching the till!

Most business don't pay that much in per diem for weary workers who build and sustain this country. Shame. Shame. Shame. Welcome to America, where everything is free. When these lucky people leave their high cost hotels, motels, they will come to your house and mine and demand whatever they want. That's what the left is creating.

Crooked Joe and his Democ'RAT buddies are treating these Criminals a heck of a lot better then the 'Rats treated the National Guard soldiers who were stuck in that Capitol parking garage!
Absolute CRIMINAL CONDUCT!

Bet you could by a lot of one way plane tickets to Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and other countries for $352.00 each. If not, I bet someone with a big cargo plane would be more than happy to fly the illegals back home for $352.00 a head. Bet they would even throw in some juice boxes and peanuts during the ride.
