Once again the Democrats are off to the racists. Every time they can’t explain their position on some public policy issue, they accuse Republicans and conservatives of being racist. Look no further than the state of Georgia. Almost two weeks ago, Gov. Brian Kemp signed SB 202 into law. It was an election reform bill that Democrats effectively branded as “racist,” “voter suppression” and “anti-civil rights.”The law expands early voting for primary and general elections, includes more voting on Saturdays and Sundays, and requires voter ID. Excellent article. Thanks for posting. Raynard Jackson speaks the truth. If the conservatives want to do the right thing they have to do it in the right way in order to clearly and completely articulate this bill in a powerfully persuasive way before it’s too late.

C'mon, man. When you have only one drum, that is what you must use. The Dims have only one drum: racism. Discrimination is dependent on skin color. Supposedly persons with lots of melanin are too stupid to find out how to vote. They are thus discriminated against. Persons with only a small amount of melanin are smart, and can always vote. But dumb folks have to be given their ballots individually, already filled out, because they are too dumb to read and write. See? Discrimination, pure and simple. And one need know nothing to vote; no informed consent is required; the dumbest voters are the most reliable when it comes to the D lever. We gotta have DUMB government, so D folks can steal lots of money. Smart folks won't let them do that. It is not fair. Government is how you get rich. Lotsa members of Congress got really rich, like Joe Biden. Did nothing for 47 years, and got insanely wealthy. The D party depends on stupid. Without stupid, where would they be?

Biden Border Policy Goes South 8 replies

When the inevitable assessments of President Biden’s first 100 days in office begin to appear, his precipitous actions pursuant to illegal immigration at the southern border will be judged by most honest observers to have been his worst blunder. That is certainly the perspective of the majority of Americans, according to three recent public opinion surveys. An NPR/Marist poll, for example, found that 53 percent of respondents disapproved of Biden’s handling of immigration. An ABC News/Ipsos poll found that 57 percent were dissatisfied with his management of the situation, particularly as it affects unaccompanied minors. An AP/NORC poll found that 55 percent were unhappy with Biden’s performance on border security.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday there is no significant risk of catching the coronavirus from a surface or object. The CDC clarified its position in a guidance update that said people generally contract COVID-19 through direct contact with a sick person or from airborne transmission. “It is possible for people to be infected through contact with contaminated surfaces or objects (fomites), but the risk is generally considered to be low,” the revised guidance states. The official revision was made nearly a year after the agency noted last May that COVID-19 “does not spread easily” through touching surfaces or objects.

When failed Democratic congressional candidate Rita Hart dropped her petition with the House Administration Committee to “investigate” the 2020 election in Iowa’s Second Congressional District, it revealed far more than the outcome of an obscure Midwestern House race. The querulous tone of her announcement suggested that the withdrawal wasn’t voluntary. A number of Democratic moderates had expressed reservations about overturning state-certified results and opening themselves up to charges of hypocrisy. These representatives won their seats by pledging not to become mindless Myrmidons of the increasingly hyper-partisan House leadership, and know that they will already have enough trouble surviving their next elections because of the president’s broken promise to promote bipartisanship.

Joe Biden was elected as a moderate-left Democrat, but he is not governing as one. He pledged repeatedly to work across party lines, but he is ramming through the biggest, most expensive progressive agenda in American history without any Republican votes. He is almost certain to try it again with his next two spending proposals, the largest since Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society programs. As the White House pushes these mammoth bills with only Democratic votes, Americans are realizing they got a very different president from the one they bargained for, the one they were promised during the campaign. What’s unclear is whether they will recoil from this new reality.

The Democrat who lost a House race in Iowa by only six votes announced Wednesday she is dropping her challenge to GOP Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks’ narrow victory. Rita Hart, a former state senator, said Wednesday she is withdrawing her contest with the House Administration Committee, which she had asked to review the November election, arguing that roughly two dozen ballots were improperly rejected by local officials and would have flipped the result.“Despite our best efforts to have every vote counted, the reality is that the toxic campaign of political disinformation to attack this constitutional review

A voting reform bill in Georgia has sparked lawsuits, boycotts, and mass outrage among Democrats, who describe the law as a revival of Jim Crow-era racism. But much of the heated rhetoric surrounding the bill, which Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signed into law on Thursday, misrepresents what the reforms will accomplish. The debate over whether Georgia’s law constitutes “despicable voter suppression,” as Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, has claimed, or necessary updates to the state code is significant. Democrats in Washington have used the specter of the law to push a sweeping federal bill aimed at overhauling all elections. They have even threatened to weaken or end the filibuster

The Washington Post ran a brutal "behind-the-scenes" report on how Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo prioritized COVID testing in the early months of the pandemic, including how his brother, CNN anchor Chris Cuomo, allegedly received treatment "beyond" others on the so-called VIP list. According to sources, more than "100 individuals" with close ties to the governor were referred to as "priorities," "specials," "inner circle" or "criticals" and were "logged in an electronic data sheet that was kept separate from a database for the general public." The Post reported that Dr. Eleanor Adams, a top New York physician who was tasked by the Cuomo administration to coordinate

Rep. Jack Kemp used to say that minority voters "don't care what you know until they know that you care." Democrats have cleaned up with Black and Hispanic voters (although a little less so with each passing election) by professing how much they care. Ah, but it is also a truism that actions speak louder than words. Black voters made significantly more economic progress in former President Donald Trump's one term, despite his label as a "racist," than in eight years under former President Barack Obama. The Black poverty rate fell to its lowest level EVER under Trump, whereas little progress was made in Obama's two terms. Ditto for Hispanics.

Public opinion surveys consistently show that a majority of the electorate favors robust election integrity laws. The most recent Rasmussen poll of likely voters, for example, found that 75 percent — including 69 percent of black voters and 82 percent of other nonwhite voters — favor voter ID laws. Solid majorities of Democratic and Independent voters agree. Yet the Democrats who control Washington and the corporate news media insist that efforts by GOP state legislatures to bolster election integrity laws constitute a sinister conspiracy to suppress the minority vote. This plot will lead to restrictions on voting rights, warns the Washington Post,

Over just a few hours Thursday, Georgia's Legislature and Gov. Brian Kemp drew the first battle line in the high-stakes struggle to decide how American voters will cast ballots in the future after the pandemic-ridden election of 2020. The Republican-controlled state put itself firmly in the camp of voter ID requirements, limited drop boxes and expanded weekend voting. And depending on the eye of the beholder, it was either a win for election integrity or a return to the era of Jim Crow voter suppression. And the debate may be coming soon to a ballot box near you, as conservatives like Heritage Action for America and liberals like Stacey Abrams' Fair Fight

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) Wednesday signed an executive order to “mitigate the impact” of Georgia’s new election integrity law, known as The Election Integrity Act of 2021. The new election bill that Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed into law “… seeks to tighten up elections and reduce fraud by enforcing conformity across the state, amping up voter ID, restricting drop boxes, and expanding in-person voting, among additional election-related overhauls,” The Daily Wire previously reported. Although Georgia has received widespread criticism from a number of corporations, Kemp said he was moving forward with his decision to sign the bill into law.

It’s not three months into a four-year term, but Joe Biden’s presidency is already heading for the rocks. Surging waves of immigrants have overwhelmed the U.S.’ southern border. With public anger growing, Biden now has been forced to tacitly recognize President Donald Trump’s border success. Just this week, Biden let it be known he’s considering restarting Trump’s border wall construction — just to “fill in” parts of it, his administration says. Right. In fact, it’s desperation because the Biden-Democrat open border policy has been an epic disaster, one that could result in huge Democratic losses in 2022 and a lame-duck presidency

On Thursday, President Joe Biden announced new executive actions on gun control, trying to limit “ghost guns” and to make it easier for people to flag their own family members who shouldn’t be allowed to purchase firearms. In announcing his gun restrictions, Biden specifically addressed the Second Amendment. While Biden insisted that none of his gun control measures impinged on the Second Amendment, he also insisted that “no amendment to the Constitution is absolute.” “Nothing, nothing I’m about to recommend in any way impinges on the Second Amendment. They’re phony arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake for what we’re talking about,” he argued. Then came the key statement:

Ed Bastian makes $17 million a year as chief executive officer of Delta Airlines, Georgia’s largest employer. Bastian just blasted Georgia’s new voting law. He thinks it is racist to require the same sort of ID to vote that Delta requires for its passengers to check-in. Yet most Americans believe voting is a more sacred act than flying Delta and, moreover, may have noticed that Delta has all sorts of partnerships with a systemically racist China. So polls show Americans approve of voter IDs. Bastian fears the woke mob more than the majority of Georgia residents who support the law.

The trial of Derek Chauvin grinds on. Currently, the prosecution is still putting on its case, but it may want to stop doing so before the court is forced to dismiss the case altogether. (snip) if the jurors wish to live, the mob has already told them they’d better find Chauvin guilty. The problem is that the prosecution’s witnesses are destroying the case.
