How's this for some disgusting, insulting, patronization of Latino voters from the left-wing Democrat political consultant establishment?
An unwittingly revolting report comes from Axios:
A new analysis of U.S. voters suggests — counterintuitively — that the coronavirus pandemic may have helped drive former President Donald Trump's surprising increase in support from Latinos last November.
The big picture: By shifting Trump's rhetoric from immigration to fears around the economic impact of shutdowns, the virus gave conservative and low-information Latino voters a permission structure to back Trump even if they shunned him in 2016, according to preliminary findings by research firm Equis that were reviewed by Axios.

Little Petey Buttigieg is now playing in the big leagues, having made the tremendous leap from ineffectual mayor of a crime-ridden city to Transportation Secretary of the United States of America. To make a point about alternative transportation, he rode a bicycle to his first White House cabinet meeting – after first having several burly men drive him near the White House and then escort him and his bike. This kind of theater is typical for leftists, who often seem incapable of distinguishing fantasy from reality.
Last week, Little Petey (who always reminds me of a cross between Alfred “What, Me Worry?” Newman and Beaver Cleaver)

If Pete Buttigieg thinks he has a political future after his latest gaffe as Joe Biden's transportation secretary, he's in for a surprise.
Four days ago, Mr. Smug weather-ballooned his plan to tax the working poor up the wazoo. According to CNBC:
A vehicle mileage tax could be on the table in talks about how to finance the White House’s expected multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure proposal, according to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
Buttigieg, who spoke with CNBC’s Kayla Tausche on Friday, also contended that President Joe Biden’s forthcoming plans to rebuild the nation’s roads, bridges and waterways would lead to a net gain for the U.S. taxpayer and not a net outlay.

Is there anyone more unfit for the job of "point person" or "leading diplomatic efforts" during the current migrant border surge than Vice President Kamala Harris?
It's an absolutely certain failure. Naming Harris the 'point person' on the Biden-created border surge such a bad idea one almost wonders if Joe Biden did it on purpose.
After all, as the Sydney Morning Post notes in its headline: "'It will not be easy:' Biden hands Kamala Harris problem he couldn't fix."
The already-failed Biden policy that triggered this current border surge is now a leading issue with the public that's eating into Biden's poll numbers. According to a Hill-HarrisX survey

The southern border is now being hit with a huge wave of unaccompanied children, the wholly predictable consequence of Joe Biden’s foolish open-border immigration policies. Once again, photos show “kids in cages.” But this time, the Big Media are mostly silent, or making excuses, as are the Democrats who helped create this inhumane mess.
On Monday, as the crisis worsened and criticisms grew, Biden imposed a “lid” on the White House and, by extension, media coverage of the border disaster. Not without reason. Flustered White House spokesperson Jen Psaki was unable to answer a few simple, but direct, questions from

Almost exactly a year ago, then-candidate Joe Biden promised something that many apparently believed. “I’ll always tell you the truth,” he said. “This is the responsibility of a president. That’s what is owed the American people.”
So how is Biden doing on that promise?
Not very well, when you consider his inability to tell the truth about the COVID-19 vaccine, the economic rebound already underway, or the border crisis. Biden won’t tell the truth about the first two because he’d have to credit President Donald Trump. And he won’t tell the truth about the border crisis because he himself is

Well, that was deluxe.
After riding through Mexico under car seats, inside sweltering trucks, stuffed in packed trunks, shimmying through rat-infested tunnels, crossing rivers, and on the tops of trains, illegal migrant families (or "families") who make it illegally across to the states get free hotel rooms, courtesy of Joe Biden and the U.S. taxpayer.
That's what Biden has mandated in his self-created border crisis that didn't exist until he started offering immigration line-cutters benefits, and not surprisingly, the migrants are pouring over. Now some new goodies await at the finish line.
According to Axios, cited by Daily Caller, illegal migrant families can now look forward

As New York's Gov. Andrew Cuomo politically immolates in sex-harassment allegations, one guy who's got to be uncomfortable about the entire wretched specter is Gropey Joe Biden.
Slow Joe's narrative-makers have finally let him come out of his shell with this ridiculous punt of a response:
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden on Sunday passed up an opportunity to join other Democrats calling for the resignation of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is under investigation after multiple allegations of sexual harassment.Asked by a reporter if Cuomo should resign, Biden responded, “I think the investigation is underway and we should see what it brings us.”

The Democrats' $1.9 trillion stimulus bill is a monster of public spending with the prime aim of rewarding political cronies. Free-spending blue cities and states get bailouts, along with unions with mismanaged gold-plated pensions for their members. The losers, of course, are the savers and taxpayers. That's because it won't be long before Argentina-style inflation and Europe-style taxes kick in to pay for these benefits to leftists.
The only hope is to grow the economy so that the debt can be paid, which is something Americans often know how to do.
But unlike other bills, this one contains a poison pill, to ensure that red states and cities inclined to cut taxes

Most people are canny enough to know that when someone advertises himself or herself as a certain kind of thing, the opposite is likely to be the case. Think: "Honest John's Used Cars." "Mom's Cooking." "We're from the government and we're here to help." "I'm a lady."
Which brings us to Meghan Markle, the Hollywood B-list actress who finagled a role for a couple of years as the Duchess of Sussex.
After telling us how selfless she was for ditching the royal family in order to go make money (off of them, no less), including a coming March 8 tell-all interview to Oprah Winfrey, here's the biteback from Buckingham Palace:

Dissidents have been warning us for years about the nature of China's communist totalitarian regime.
But unlike a lot of them, the dictatorship also has money and markets.
In the West, that means quisling defenders, many with a snoot in the trough.
So here comes a pitched curve ball for China's clapping seals, according to the South China Morning Post:
A Chinese court has upheld a ruling that a textbook description of homosexuality as "a psychological disorder" was not a factual error but merely an "academic view".
The Chinese LGBT community, and the 24-year-old woman who filed the lawsuit, have expressed disappointment at the decision,

AUSTIN, Texas - Republican Texas State Representative Bryan Slaton has filed a bill in the Texas House of Representatives asking that a portion of I-35 in Austin be renamed the Steve Adler Public Restroom Highway.
The portion Slaton is asking to be renamed is the area between 4th Street and 11th Street where those experiencing homelessness reside.
Slaton, who represents House District 2, says in a news release that "since the legislature has made it clear it intends to rename some highways and bridges this session, I think it's imperative that we start with a highway that truly recognizes the contributions of (Austin) Mayor Adler."
