RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas — He’s putting people over his party. The Democratic mayor of a southern border town says he’s incensed over the Biden administration’s handling of the immigration crisis in his backyard — and he’s “pleading” with Washington to do more to stem the stream of migrants pouring into his small city. “You have a breach on national security levels that have never before been seen in modern history and you’re not even batting an eye about it, you’re not even calling it a ‘crisis‘, you’re calling it a quote unquote challenge,” Mayor Bruno Lozano, a Democrat who represents Del Rio, Texas, told the

Brother, he is not capable of batting an eye without being told so or having the correct meds applied. Perhaps you need to re-evaluate your political needs and take an appropriate position.

Who knew throwing the laws away would result in a lawless crisis? Go figure. And just think, they actually stole the election to enable this crisis under the impression they could control the flow of illegals, as well as the optics. Then reality stepped in, told Xiden to hold his beer and shouted, "Hey, y'all, watch this!" Even with the fate of the nation at stake, I'm enjoying the implosion of commie policies. Glee and fear are a strange emotional cocktail.

#3, I understand what you are saying. If the Republic survives this full on assault, it will be proof positive that the democrat agenda is toxic to a free society. Every single policy decision they are making is a failure. Watching them destroy what we hold dear is terribly disturbing. Frankly, I am not sure that we can even survive four years of this unrestrained lawlessness. We are not the only ones watching this. Our enemies are very interested in what is happening. They sit on the sidelines like vultures waiting for the perfect time to strike. I pray God will grant us the grace and mercy to see this through. It may be just the thing needed for many of the radical ideological drones to reconsider their dogma. Nothing does that better than chaos, violence and inflation. It is a pity we have to go through this because of the political cowards in our midst.

#, I agree. And an enemy won't wait until this country is completely destroyed. They wouldn't want to take possession of a land that's not worth possessing.

Then do something about it. Your complaint does not fix the problem. Ever hear of states rights?

But Mayor, aren't these your people? You know, "Hispanics"? According to the Dems, brown people aka Hispanics, Latinix, whatever are all one homogenous group. There are no American Hispanics or Mexicans, or whatever. Your all brown people... sarc
Slightly OT but if I hear one more commentator with an R after their name, mostly women but some men, practically get teary eye talking about the migrant children and all they have suffered at the hands of coyotes, etc I will scream. It's their own fellow Hispanics who are abusing them. I realize Republican officials have to show sympathy since we're such hardhearted bast**ds, but these children have no one to blame but their parents/families for sending them to this country. There are children suffering all over the world and we cannot bring them all in or even allow these children into this country.

This is a reminder that ...God helps those that help themselves... Texas must take care of themselves...close the border and finish the wall....bring in more national guard and stop the flow from Central America and Mexico...washington will never do what's right for OUR country...they are about DC cocktail parties and taxpayer's money...gasoline in my state is now $2.99 a gallon... one penny short of $3.00...thanks to Obama/rice/biden shutting down the Keystone pipeline...no wonder nervous nancy is frightened by the people...

Biden invited illegals to, ''swarm the border,'' before the election and now he has the nerve to blame the former President for this human catastrophe?! Even the illegals themselves said Biden invited them to commit this illegal immigration surge! Some went so far as to wear Biden tee shirts! Pres Trump had returned Immigration Law and its security to the border but the Biden Administration breaks the existing Immigration Law and their oaths of office to which they each swore to protect the USA and American citizens! Crooks and thieves apparently now lead the socialist dem party as their policies all seem to ignore the law in their irrational relentless march to destroy this country! ...dem socialists have no shame
