Could dimming the sun help to cool the
Earth? Bill Gates wants to spray millions
of tonnes of CHALK into the stratosphere
to reflect sunlight and slow global warming
-- but critics fear it could be disastrous

The first test of a project backed to spray millions of tonnes of chalk into the stratosphere, in an attempt to 'dim the sun' and cool the Earth, could happen in June. Harvard University experts will test the system by sending a large balloon 12 miles above the Swedish town of Kiruna and have it drop 2kg of chalk dust into the stratosphere. The aim of the estimated $3 million mission, backed by billionaire Bill Gates, is to have the chalk deflect a portion of the sun's radiation, stop it from hitting the surface, and cool the planet. The idea has been heavily criticised since its inception...

This is so stupid and so dangerous on so many levels that it can't be fully described,. The biggest change in climate for the last hundred yeas has been the "correcting" of past temperature readings lower so that it looks like the climate is warming up. The climate always changes and generally goes in cycles. Warming in the fifties, glaciers on the way in the sixties and seventies, warming starting in the late eights, now just changing because the truth doesn't fit the narrative. Gates needs to eat his chalk and leave the climate alone.

So Billy Boy Gates thinks he's so smart, smarter that nature. Just sprinkle the atmosphere with chalk and it will cool the earth. What a jack's behind. Who know. Maybe some nut job will put this one into affect. Oh brother. Send Billy Boy Gates up with the chalk please. Or just send some chalk to his residence in the Seattle area. Maybe that would help with Seattle's problems.

Sure, put more particles into the atmosphere and pollute the air even more. Sure the chalk dust will fall back to earth eventually, coating everything with dust, killing plants & animals. It will also get into the water. But, its Bill Gates idea, so it must be ok.

What’s going on here? This is already being done, and has been for years. These are the infamous contrails, and you can see them criss crossing the sky 1-2x/month. (And no, they are not run-of-the-mill jet contrails, nor clouds.) They are lower in the sky and take hours to disperse. Something is being sprayed, but no one knows what. So, it’s curious that Gates is openly talking about this. Perhaps some sort of round about disclosure?

#16, the ring around the moon is a reasonably common phenomenon, caused by very thin, very high clouds, called cirrostratus. The moisture diffracts the light, forming the ring. These rings sometimes presage a storm, and this was an old farmer's weather prediction method, true often enough to be noted, but not totally reliable.

Georgia's new law limits mail-in voting and allows for more legislative control over the election process following former President Donald Trump's baseless claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

President Joe Biden will take new executive action Thursday aimed at reducing gun violence in the United States. Politico first reported Wednesday that the new measure — one of several “common sense” gun reforms Biden has promised to take — will require people purchasing “ghost guns,” homemade firearms without serial numbers, to undergo a federal background check. It remains unclear how many specific actions Biden is expected to take on guns, but reporting indicates the president will also seek to close the “Charleston Loophole,” which allows licensed dealers to transfer firearms to buyers before a background check is completed.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) Wednesday signed an executive order to “mitigate the impact” of Georgia’s new election integrity law, known as The Election Integrity Act of 2021. The new election bill that Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) signed into law “… seeks to tighten up elections and reduce fraud by enforcing conformity across the state, amping up voter ID, restricting drop boxes, and expanding in-person voting, among additional election-related overhauls,” The Daily Wire previously reported. Although Georgia has received widespread criticism from a number of corporations, Kemp said he was moving forward with his decision to sign the bill into law.

It’s not three months into a four-year term, but Joe Biden’s presidency is already heading for the rocks. Surging waves of immigrants have overwhelmed the U.S.’ southern border. With public anger growing, Biden now has been forced to tacitly recognize President Donald Trump’s border success. Just this week, Biden let it be known he’s considering restarting Trump’s border wall construction — just to “fill in” parts of it, his administration says. Right. In fact, it’s desperation because the Biden-Democrat open border policy has been an epic disaster, one that could result in huge Democratic losses in 2022 and a lame-duck presidency
