Anchorage, the largest city in Alaska, recorded a temperature as low as -18 degrees Celsius (nearly zero degrees Fahrenheit) in the early morning. A two-day high-level talk between the United States and China has just ended in this frigid place. The high pitch of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) “wolf warriors” howl and the weak U.S. response, in contrast, are really worrying.
In short, the U.S. side fell into four traps set ingeniously by the CCP during the talks.
First, the holding of high-level talks between the United States and China is itself a CCP trap.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told NPR Tuesday’s Atlanta-area shootings that killed eight people — six of whom were Asian-American — do not seem to be linked to race, backing up local police who say the alleged shooter was probably motivated by a sex addiction rather than racial animus, a theory that’s drawn skepticism and pushback from some corners.Key Facts
In a Thursday afternoon interview with NPR, Wray said suspected gunman Robert Aaron Long’s motives are still under investigation, but “it does not appear” race was his reason for allegedly shooting multiple people at three massage parlors.

To say the first major diplomatic summit between the United States and China was an unmitigated mess would be an understatement. Apparently U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken thought it would be of value for the domestic audience if he was to lambast the Beijing delegation in public and on camera. His efforts were a complete fail as the Chinese knew everything was presented for domestic consumption… so, the Red Dragon threw fire right back onto the purple hair and obviously stunned an unsettled U.S. Secretary. (Snip)Public insults are expressions of weakness, not strength.

President Joe Biden fell three times climbing up the stairs into Air Force One on Friday morning.
Biden, the oldest president of the United States at 78 years old, stood up from the multiple stumbles after a few seconds on the ground(Snip)
Biden’s recent fall comes among a series of verbal gaffes and frequent mental slip-ups that plagued his campaign trail and carried over into his presidential speeches. He also recently suffered a hairline fracture in his foot in November after he slipped and grabbed his dog’s tail while stepping out of the shower, an injury that required a walking boot.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Friday said she rejected a move by some Democrats led by Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Calif.) to expel Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) from Congress.
About 70 House Democrats joined Gomez in signing the resolution. However, to expel a member of Congress, the bid requires a two-thirds supermajority, meaning that a significant number of Republicans would need to join.
“I’m not going to get into that,” (Snip) “Members are very unhappy about what’s happened here. And they can express themselves the way they do. What Mr. Gomez did is his own view. And that is not a leadership position.”

On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, filmmakers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney join Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to talk about their new movie “My Son Hunter” and how big tech, the media, and political elites covered up the Biden family’s corruption right before the 2020 presidential election. “We wouldn’t be making this movie if the media, if journalists had done their jobs,” (Snip) “…people at the mainstream media like the New York Times and CNN,(Snip) were just completely quiet in advance of the election despite the fact that this amazing bombshell was dropped into our laps on this laptop.” “(Snip) They actually intimidated other journalists(Snip)” McAleer added.

The military government in Myanmar, in place after a coup provoked by widespread accusations of voter fraud plagued the country’s recent election, has now seized the bank accounts of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.
After taking control of the country in a military coup provoked by allegations of voter fraud earlier this year, the Myanmar military government has seized several bank accounts belonging or affiliated with George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, and has announced arrest warrants for 11 members of the organization in the country “on suspicion of giving financial support to the civil disobedience movement against the military junta.”
The government will also take legal action against the Open Society Foundations,

A major development broke this week in the Federal investigation into what exactly caused the death of U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick.(Snip)But providing “clarity” into Sicknick’s death was approximately the opposite of what transpired.
Here’s what we know:
Two men, Julian Khater and George Tanios, have been charged with nine criminal counts for actions taken on January 6th just outside the steps of the U.S. Capitol building. The most serious offense appears to be assault on an officer with a dangerous weapon, arising from Khater’s alleged use of Tanios’s chemical spray to tag Officer Sicknick and two other officers in the face.

Talks between the U.S. and China got off to a rough start on Thursday, with both sides chiding and reprimanding each other in an unusual public display of tensions.
The meeting in Anchorage, Alaska was the first high-level meeting between the two countries under the administration of President Joe Biden, and came after more than two years of rocky relations between the two countries.
What was initially meant to be a four-minute photo shoot ended up lasting more than an hour as both sides traded barbs on issues from U.S.-China relations to concerns from Washington’s allies. Reporters were told not to leave as both sides wanted to add their rebuttals.

Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly challenged Joe Biden to a televised debate, after Biden referred to him as a “killer” in an ABC interview, as reported by The Daily Caller.
Putin made the challenge on Russian state TV, saying “I want to propose to President Biden to continue our discussion, but on the condition that we do it basically live, as it’s called, without any delays and directly in an open, direct discussion.”
When asked about Putin’s request, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki once again dodged the question and said that she would “have to get back to you,” while also claiming that Biden is “quite busy.”
