Former president Donald Trump left his Manhattan skyscraper on Tuesday afternoon for a return trip to Mar-a-Lago after spending two days holed up inside during his first visit to New York City since the end of his presidency. Trump, 74, was said to have returned to the Big Apple to 'look under the hood' of his family firm as New York prosecutors continue a probe into the business. On Monday night, the investigation spread to Chicago when the Manhattan district attorney subpoenaed documents from a company that invested in a skyscraper built by the former president in the city. I wish the Rebublicans would engage on this scorched earth legal warfare against Democrats. Mutually assured lawsuit might just change the Dems law fare tactics.

The reason I've nearly totally put the pubbies in the trash heap is that they don't even seem to be trying, and there goes their future as well as the future of our Nation..

So, that skyscraper is likely the Trump tower, and one of his Apprentice winners managed the project, if i recall.
It was launched in 2001, and completed in 2009.
At this point, 11-ish years after completion, what would they be investigating that has not had statute of limitations expired?
And, in very corrupt Chicago, I'm sure many things had to be done, similar to how things get done in New York City, I presume.

I fail to see a public interest in investments contracted between private parties. I cannot see any standing for a prosecutor in such a case, as they are not parties to the contracts.

Mr Trump referred to them as swamp monsters, and they now believe (not just think) but BELIEVE he must be punished.
They have the brains of army ants.

The Daily Mail not only telling us what to think, they are actually telling us what we see. Anyone believe this garbage? The DA is abusing their powers.

When the new Dark Ages really take hold and there is a sorting out of everything, I really hope there isn't a brick left of everything associated with scum like DM. 'Officials' like the Manhattan DA will be running for their lives IF the world they are working to bring to all of us really gets here. Slobs like this rat will never stop hounding a Great President, but they won't lift a finger for a corrupt DC hack who bragged about his Ukraine money laundering, abuse of office and blackmail.

All these criminal investigations targeting former President Trump, his family members, and the Trump businesses by Democrat prosecutors would never have occurred if Trump had not been elected President. So you have to figure that those ongoing investigations are politically based, and certainly are designed to stop running for President again in 2024.

I surely do miss my Real President Trump. Apparently so does the Media as they cannot go one single day without reporting this kind of garbage and/or showing his picture.
