The Equality Act passed the House of Representatives Thursday with full Democratic support, but with only three Republicans signing on. The bill enshrines LGBTQ protections in the nation's labor and civil rights laws, a top priority for President Joe Biden. The vote was 224 for the bill and 206 against. Among the Republicans who bucked their party were Reps. John Katko and Tom Reed of New York and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania.
When the Equality Act passed the last Congress in May 2019, eight Republicans joined their Democratic colleagues. The Equality Act amends existing civil rights law to explicitly include sexual orientation

Title nine should now be eliminated. It discriminated against male sports. This is especially is true in college where men's sports bring in the vast majority of revenue to colleges.

I don't really care one bit for women's sports. The feminazis wanted equality with men. Well, guess what, now they have it. Live with it.

This has nothing to do with women and sports, and everything to do with destroying Christianity.
Ministers and priests will now be arrested for refusing to "marry" homosexuals. Churches will be successfully sued and destroyed for failing to hire activist homosexuals who go against everything that church believes. Sermons on Biblical principals for things like homosexuality will be branded "hate speech" and the pastors giving them will be arrested and imprisoned.
And that is just the beginning. If this becomes law, it's time for Civil War 2!!!!!

Every snotty liberal college woman who sneers at hetero anything can stew in her own witch's brew of "equality." Especially the female athletes. Thank a democrat when you don't get the athletic scholarship you worked so hard for.

FTA: Rep. David Cicilline, the openly gay Rhode Island Democrat who is spearheading its passage, said religious guardrails still exist.........................
Well, I learned something today about Cicilline. Who knew??
Maybe this is why he gave up his career representing the mafioso. They don't take kindly to gay people.

The pig Reed once again spits on the voters who elected him. This mental defective thinks he should be President and is 'consulting' his family about running. What a pile of pus. The same comments apply to Katko. Another lying opportunist.

Except for the LPGA nobody but family watches women sports. When it destroys itself not many will notice.

Are the bathrooms at the Capital unisex? If not then is that against the law. How would AOC or some of those other Socialist women in Congress like to run into the sexual predators in Congress in their bathrooms? Maybe they could invite Hunter to come join them. Does Nancy Pelosi have a private bathroom or can Swawell use hers while she is in there? Oh, silly me. I keep forgetting. They make laws for the peons not for themselves.

I imagine that the Congressional locker rooms and restrooms will become quite the visually interesting sights to see as soon as the bill becomes law. right?
Let's call our Congressmen and ask when those new signs will be posted across all the Halls of the Capitol: hmmm... Nadler and Maxine, Cortez and Schiff; Peelosi and Schumer and McConnell (of course!); Shaheen (one of our Senators) and Leahy. Let your imagination run wild (if you dare).

#4 shines the spotlight on the real danger this bill presents to our religious freedoms. Women's sports and bathrooms are not the target, they are the weapon. The initial focus will be on Christians, then Jews and any faith tradition that upholds Biblical values. The collective must eradicate independent thinkers and morally upright people. Persecutions are the time-honored method to bring a population under control.
In grade school the nuns would teach us the stories of the great martyrs who lead the Church Triumphant among the Communion of Saints. While the various methods of their martyrdoms were horrible, the sisters would state them matter-of-fact without the gruesome details. The focus of the stories were the witnesses given and the sustaining graces of the Love of Christ. My soul longed to love God totally and to never be afraid to state the reason for my joy, even under the threat of death. My 4th grade self was disappointed at being born in the 20th century and modern times. Evil had been vanquished by our fathers in WWII, an event 10 years past before I was born, and I would never know the test of persecution. Well, Howdy, boy was I wrong!
My parents blessed me with the baptismal name of Joan (as my middle). St. Joan of Arc took up the sword to defend her country as a 16 year-old girl leading the armies of France. Betrayed by her temporal king, she was lifted up by her Heavenly King. Before being burned at the stake, the unlettered girl flummoxed the great churchmen of England with her simple faith. They were unable to trap her for an entire year. Her recorded testimony still exists and is fascinating. They tricked her into setting her armor aside and donning a dress. While never "identifying" as a man, she dressed as a soldier and engaged in traditional manly arts, retaining her womanhood throughout her ordeals. Her guards were awed by her and she kept her virginity, until she donned the dress and they raped her the night before her martyrdom.
An interesting story for our times. The Marxists would say she was brutally murdered by a mob of Christians because she knew she was really meant to be a man. If she was not a great Catholic saint, I'm sure they would consider her actions as proof that transgenderism has been a normal occurrence throughout human history. I pray they do not desecrate her witness as they did God's rainbow. Either way, I have a great saint as my role model and patron. Joan wielded a sword for God, I only wield a keyboard.
God be with us. Pray and meditate upon the Scriptures. Will you be the chaff or the wheat?

Hooray, another superset of rights granted to a specific group. All the young women who voted for Harris-Bidet should love this one; no more athletic scholarships for you, sweetie; a biological male will win every time. And re: Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, it he part of the famous Irish duo of Brian Fitzpatrick and Patrick Fitzbrian?
