Joe and Jill Biden will travel to Houston, Texas on Friday, the White House announced, to visit the state as it recovers from a winter storm. 'The president will meet with local leaders to discuss the winter storm relief efforts, the progress toward recovery and the incredible resilience shown by the people of Houston and Texas,' White House press Jen Psaki said at her briefing on Tuesday. She also said Biden would visit a COVID health center during his trip to see vaccines being distributed. (Photos) More than 7.9 million people in 202 Texas counties still had issues with their water supply as of Monday evening,
Here in Austin it's 75 degrees. No ice or snow anywhere. Electricity has been on for 7 days. Water on for 4 days. And they care so much they'll be here in 3 days.

Watch carefully. Joe is probably good for about 6 hours a day before he starts to sundown. Changing his time zone and travel should make for some interesting comments. No Q & A is my bet. Who wants to take it?

In udda woids, the BIdens are doing a little fleecing of the Texas liberals at fancy suaree fundraisers closed to the public. And 10% of the cut goes to the Big Guy. As long as he stays in Houston, it's fine with me. Although my condolences to the good people of Houston.

Wonder if we will ever see Joe go anywhere or be in front of people without her? She’s actually his handler, isn’t she?

Maybe he can have a look at those 'green' wind turbines that froze, but we are at 79 and every bit of show and ice has melted, nothing to see here. Maybe he can go by vaccine hubs and see if they have shipments coming. Maybe he can stop and get take out bagels or better yet some spicy burritos for the trip back. Does he even know why he is coming here.

As a Texan I consider it an insult to Real Texans' backsides that they even set foot in our state after what they pulled.

Can anyone here imagine President Trump visiting a disaster area two weeks after the damage was done? These delayed responses are a snapshot of more things to come. Biden won't be fielding any 3:00 a.m. emergency phone calls. They will be forwarded to Heels Up's quarters.

Sorry Joe, we had a particularly bad winter (4 days) in Houston this year. I hear you hide in the WH when DC gets more than 3 inches of snow.

President Trump stayed up late and got up early. He was the most energetic president of my lifetime.
On the other hand, it's probably safe to say that Joe Biden sleeps the same number of hours per week as President Trump would work. That's why Dementia Joe took so long to make it to Texas. When you work just 20 or 25 hours per week, it's difficult to get much done.

Obama was the laziest president in my lifetime. He didn't go to work until noon and quit around 4 or 5 when it was time to light up the doobie!

#12, about those windmills, Joe will say, as it's 70 degrees, "Well, they look like they are operating fine now. What's the problem?"

Guess he is not going to the border where his lawless policy is also causing disaster. That, plus his cancellation of finishing the Keystone pipeline, etc., along with his ignorance of the seriousness of the snow storm & frigid temps, makes 3 Biden strikes against Texas in just a few weeks! It will be interesting to see the reception he receives in Texas after causing so much sensless heartache. What more will he do throughout the next 4 years?! Sad

Joe Biden will be hailed a a loving, compassionate leader. I can hear it now..."He is so Presidential, showing the leadership and compassion that we have missed for the past 4 years" coming form every media talking head's mouth as they stare in awe. Of course, anything Biden will say or do is the same exact thing that every other President has done or would do for every other disaster area in the future. If Trump waited this long to go to Texas, he would be criticized for not caring and not doing enough. Biden will be praised as if he were the second coming of Jesus.

They are going to have to pick certain safe Democrat and minority neighborhoods in the spirit of “equity” for Biden to show up in, or they are likely to be confronted with a large crowd of Trump supporters carrying flags and all that.
