In March of 2020 New Mexico Governor Michelle Grisham locked down her state due to the coronavirus threat. New Mexico was ranked 39th out of the 50 states in coronavirus cases at that time. But after Grisham locked down the state she made a private call to her favorite jewelry store to make a purchase. Of course, she was able to do this because she is the Democrat governor. But she got caught and started changing her story. Now this…The far left governor was recently caught using taxpayer money to pay for groceries, whiskey and tequila.

Democrats don't walk the talk. They never have and get away with it. Shame on her and the MSM.

$13,500 over 6 months is $2250 per month. Did her staff live at the governors mansion full time? The working people of NM are already feeling the pain of losing all of the good paying oil and gas jobs because of a Democrat in the white house. She should be raising hell with the Biden administration and standing up for the people of her state. Instead, she boozes it up while eating fancy dinners with her staff and breaking her own orders about mixing of households. If the people of NM take this without a fight, they deserve what ever happens to them.

She uses the Pelosi handbook on governing. NM has the highest percentage of people, more than any other other state in the nation receiving Medicaid support from the federal government. She has destroyed small business and young people are fleeing to other states. Oil and gas is/was the major industry and cutting off the Keystone pipeline and opening the borders will make NM a great place for poverty and crime to flourish. Adios..!!

However, activist media cannot shut up about Ted Cruz and family's trip to Mexico.

Who can afford to have a "favorite jewelry store" these days??

ANY Republican engaging in this behavior would have been run out of the governor's mansion last night by the media.
Oh, and by the way....... why is Coomo still in office?

Small potatoes compared to what most of them do. The higher up you go in government, the bigger the theft.

Speaking as a New Mexico resident (WTH was I thinking?!?!), MLG has "led" from behind throughout the entire CV19 response. She has yet to be seen outside of a TV or computer screen but happily squired anti-gun, anti-baby, anti-small business legislation through our equally far-left legislature. There is a recall petition that garnered a significant amount of signatures that is being held in abeyance before filing because of legal restrictions that I'm not familiar with. The guy who has led the charge against "Little Governor Stompy Foot" is a local radio personality who has also done extensive reporting on the Epstein subversive evil network that still to this day entwines many NM Dems. I had a FBI buddy in the ABQ office who told me that they had Bill Richardson (ex. NM gov) dead to rights in that mess when a DOJ rep swooped in, picked up all the damning documentation, and said that "they've got this now" as he jetted back to DC. That during the Obama administration. NM is a cesspool. Albuquerque crime is out of control. The cartels and their influence in local gangs is pervasive. (FTR, I'm an ex-cop and speak knowledgeably). And my wife and I are actively looking to get the hell out...Texas, Florida, or Tennessee here we come!

I’m curious about the over $200 for 11 bottles of liquor. It must have been way over that amount or she would have been better off drinking turpentine.

Her meals are in the best interest of the little people. Her wellbeing is foremost, so she is healthy, wealthy, and safe to make decisions that affect the little folks. That's why she lives in a governor's mansion with servants who make more than $15/hour, security, and everything at her disposal. Don't you people know who she is?

$200 only gets you about 3 bottles of fairly decent bourbon. $200 for 11 bottles of tequila makes that some d••n cheap tequila!

Thinking back to collapsing years of the Soviet Union, when a Zil driven by one of the senior members of the party was involved in an accident which caused the trunk to pop open. Turns out he was returning from a shopping trip at one of the party stores and out of the trunk - in plain view of the little people - spilled all the just-purchased quality groceries and luxury items. We're headed in that direction.

While we're on the subject, #19, she probably bought the whiskey to wash down the tequila. Chica es muy loca.

If memory serves, this is the same governor who shut down grocery stores last Fall. Callousness and arrogance all the way around.

“Breaking Bad” portrayed Albuquerque very accurately. Lots of crime and drugs all around. I would be glad to hear otherwise. We enjoyed visiting Santa Fe a few years back, as long as we didn’t buy anything with all those insanely inflated prices.
