Just how much does Mitch McConnell despise President Trump and his MAGA movement? While playing coy for weeks about his intentions before finally voting to acquit the president in an impeachment trial more preposterous than last year's farce, he immediately took to the Senate floor to lay the blame for the events of January 6 entirely at the president's feet. (snip) his decision to browbeat the president right after finding him "not guilty" reeked of cowardice. He gave every appearance of having raised a wet index finger in the air before determining how to proceed,
He has power over those in the Senate who vote for him...just like Nancy Pelosi.
D.C. is run on blackmail and cash.
But Kentucky, what is your excuse?

What has come out of all this is the exposure of 'the swamp' and the dire need to evacuate it. That will be hindered by the D C occupying troops... continuation of which is also exposing Democrats'/RINOs' guilty fear of this exposure.

The first order of business for the Republican Party is the removal of McConnell from Senate leadership. It the Republican Party Senators do not do that, then we have to form a new party with them not in it.

A new party let the republicans die on the vine and be the small spoiler party of RINOs and homeless because the democrats don't need or want them. Mitch McConnell doesn't care he's not going to run for his seat again that's why he did what he did.

Career DC politicians like Biden, McConnell, Pelosi, and Schumer are all charter members of the DC UniParty, and who are the ultimate DC “insiders” who have been running an “insider” system where “outsiders” like Trump who is the “ultimate outsider” are not allowed or wanted. Besides that Trump is one of a kind who was happy to kick over the UniParty financial apple carts much of it corrupt.

A new party is going to emerge. Whether it is called Republican or some other name remains to be seen. The current 'arrangement' cannot continue.

McConnell's remarks had dual purpose:
First, he was banishing FPDT from Washington. Mitch was being very clear that his legacy will be trashed, backloaded with two impeachments and whatever other scandals can be scraped together. And with that he meant the MAGA movement had a choice, either cool it and get in line with the GOPe, or face backlash from the same.
Second, he was warning FPDT that future political activity would bring troubles. That the GOPe would not protect him from the Dems anymore, unless he went into a quiet exile.
Mitch has six years to go in his Trump-endorsed term. He's not going anywhere because the GOPe isn't going anywhere, except with its UNIPARTY partners. It has a few years of reduced profitability to make up.

Funny thing about Turtle, he has always been a craven coward. He has never been politically brave in his entire tenure in congress. I tried to read his bio on wiki a couple years ago, and gave up in disgust at the sniveling backstabber.
One point that needs to be kept in the viral mix is this. He and Ryan made a joint statement approx 5 days or so before the 2016 election, saying they would not give a blank check to the incoming president whomever got elected. They knew then it was going to Trump, and this was their warning shot. Only promise those two crooks ever kept was that 'no blank check' statement, they never intended to support anything that helped the nation first before their own agenda.
I am loving the fact that KY republicans are getting wise to Turtle, and may they find a way to dump him fast. Let him spend the millions allegedly given to him by his in-laws still in China.

If Dante is correct, there is a VERY special place in hell for Pelosi/Schumer/McConnell. May they all be tied to each other.
