The Nelson County Republican Party wrote Senator Mitch McConnell on Tuesday demanding he immediately resign from his leadership position with the Republican Party’s caucus in the United States Senate. This comes after McConnell’s comments on Saturday and an editorial in the Wall Street Journal attacking and smearing President Donald Trump.Trump won Nelson County in Kentucky 67.5% to 30.9% in the 2020 election.Nelson County Chairman Don Thrasher pointed out McConnell’s “complete and total disdain for the will of your constituents” for the reason for the letter.

what ever kind of derision he receives it will not be enough. he surpassed any traitorous level description with his malicious attack on our President. the people of Kentucky will decide what happens to him and it probably won't be pretty but whatever the level of scorn they place on him will be "the will of the people" and all his Chicom connections won't save him.

It is up to McConnell's fellow Senators as to what happens to him. McConnell must be removed from Senate leadership. I will not vote for a Republican Party that has McConnell as the Senate leader, or any Senator that votes to keep him in that job. We cannot wait for 2022, or 2024. The election was stolen in 2020, and we need to deal with that before we can take another step forward. There are 6 Republican Senators that have to be purged from their committee assignments and seniority stripped. We need a Senate leader that is for the American people, not for Communist China, not for wealthy elites, who have bought and paid for McConnell. Sweitzer said McConnell had disclosed in financial filings that he received $5 to $25M from the Chinese. That is quite a large range. I think McConnell has an accountant that could get that figure a lot closer. And I think we need the question answered as to what McConnell gave that was worth that amount of money. I don't think that is all the money McConnell has gotten from the Chinese either. We need to see those bank accounts, and tax filings. I wonder if all that money got reported to the IRS. Earnings? And you thought McConnell is working for us.

Yertle the Turtle isn't going to step down as long as there's money to be extorted for votes. It's so very sad that men like Rush die early and people like Yertle just go on and on and on.

It's starting. Mark Levin lead off on Mitch followed up by a grand slam by Trump. Looks like people are listening and taking action. Your days are numbered, old boy. Time for you to go. Sooner rather than later. Ditch Mitch time has arrived.

As despicable as Swallowswell is at least he didn't compromise himself by marrying his Honeypot spy. His "salary" from the CCP dwarfs anything he earns from the US and he should pay immensely for his underhanded dealings.

Kentucky, keep up the pressure on McConnell. Do not let up. Please, for the sake of the Republic make his life miserable. He should pay a high price for his blatantly false statement because it only bolstered the democrats resolve to go after President Trump. McConnell betrayed President Trump and his supporters. There was no reason for it but to do harm. A man of integrity would not have done so even if he believe what he was going to say. It showed the lack of character on Mitch’s part. It was unnecessary. Mitch McConnell is a snake just like the one in the poem that President Trump recited at his rallies.

This would have more impact if the Harlan County (went for Trump 85%) GOP demanded Mitch's resignation - and I do mean impact.

#10, how do you know he didn't marry his honey-pot spy? He didn't marry her until 1993 and that was the first year he and she went to China.

It is hard to believe how fast a politician can self-destruct, but, Turtle definitely took the fast lane. While the pubbies have tended to trip over their own d&5ks at critical times by allowing themselves to be snookered by the dims, Turtle has written the book on it. What a shame though after his highly successful efforts to confirm all of Trump's judicial nominees.

Mitch doesn’t care. He’s 79 years old and probably has no intention of running again in 2026 at age 85. So, he’ll do as he pleases, rake in tons of cash from the CCP via the Xiden administration and his wife and coast along for the rest of his term.
Unless he doesn’t live that long.

Between impeachment proceedings for DemoRAT KY Gov Andy Beshear being currently studied by the state legislature, to Republican supermajorities in both the KY House and Senate, to Senate Joint Resolution 56 being introduced Feb 2nd in the KY Senate to the Committee on Committees applying for an Article V Convention of States to impose fiscal restraints, curb the power and jurisdiction of the Federal overreach, and term limits of office for Federal government employees and members of Congress, I'd say folks in the Commonwealth are screaming ENOUGH!

No wonder... Rush... God rest his soul... called him the "turtle"... he shrinks back into his DC shell and has underestimated President Trump's MAGA movement... WE the people love our President Trump and will NEVER FORGET..what the rinos have done to him...nervous Nancy's wall in DC will not deter US from voting the fraudulent politicians out of OUR House and Senate in 2022... no amount of little bloomberg money will buy the next election....
