Just think… It was only four months ago when President Trump lectured Joe Biden on wind power’s “glitchy, pricey, bird-slaughtering way to make electricity.” The liberal media unanimously mocked President Trump for his statements on windmills. (Video) In fact, the Associated Press put out a special “fact check” to condemn President Trump’s arguments and “set the record straight.” (Photo) Via the AP: President Donald Trump’s dismissal of wind power as a glitchy, pricey, bird-slaughtering way to make electricity is out of step with the times.

Despite our Demo libnut govrenor, Colorado with coal powered electrical power plants and gas burning furnaces are keeping our houses warm and sage.
Nuts to global warming climate change and green strategy.

Wind turbines freeze and solar panels covered with ice and snow = no electricity or heat. President Trump was right.

As usual, President Trump gets it EXACTLY right, and the propagandists at AssPress get it exactly, likely intentionally wrong.

Dirty secret about wind turbines.
Most of them just get buried. A wind turbine comes to the end of its lifecycle after about 20-25 years. ... While 99% of a turbine's parts can be re-sold and recycled, the majority of turbine blades are a challenge, so much so that they end up just being buried in a giant 'graveyard of blades' landfill.Feb 22, 2020

Those windmills across America are an eyesore, quick-money opportunity (but not lasting) and yes... " glitchy, pricey, bird-slaughtering way to make electricity." As usual, President Trump is right... and how we bless Jim Hoft for all his fine and dedicated work for freedom and America's future!

It's truly amazing how many ways that reality can find a way to bite you. I would imagine that thousands of solar panels with a foot of snow and ice on top are failing as well. You can't fool Mother Nature.

#10, having a home in remote Colorado that makes it's electricity from solar, you are right. We have to broom off the solar panels after a snow storm. The good news is that we heat with wood, and cook with propane, so the solar electricity is only used for lights, sat TV and water pumping. We have large batteries which are charged by the solar panels, and backup Coleman lanterns and a generator to run the water pump, if things get that bad.
Since our electrical requirements are very modest, the panels are only about 4 feet by 7 feet on the roof, but easily reached with a stepladder and long handled push broom, cleared in a few minutes. And one added panel is hung on a wall, so is self-clearing. It works in morning hours when the sun is from the east, a recent addition. Large storage batteries are required, and all this is kept functioning by the designer and installer - me. If you aren't an engineer, or at least a skilled and willing tinkerer, solar power is not for you, especially if you imagine it taking over for all your power needs.
Our most critical and sizeable power needs are handled by old fashioned WOOD and propane. Solar electricity probably makes up 10% of the energy we use. But lights, sat TV and water pumps are difficult to run on wood and propane.
Yes, solar energy can work.
No, it is not a practical or economic replacement for central power stations that people depend on unless central power is not available in a remote location. Even then, it is fiddly and not totally reliable.
