Too late as far as I’m concerned.......
Donald J. Trump advanced and enacted the most conservative (and successful) presidential agenda since Reagan and handed a foundering GOP a once in a generation lifeline, which they promptly used to hang themselves.
Cowards, idiots and traitors.
GOP – RIP

But doesn’t Trump have to take 4 out of 7 impeachments before he’s declared the champion? Or, 7 out of 13 possible impeachments like the America’s Cup sailing series? Winning just two of these ridiculous and clearly unconstitutional shams cannot be enough to have the Democrats declared the losers.
The vicious Democrats who are determined to hide their anti-Americanism behind the impeachment smokescreens won’t stop after today. Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff, Swallwell and most of all, Biden, don’t want us to focus on their actions against the country.

I've never sat on a fence like McConnell, but it must hurt to straddle a fence like he does.

It's only because he knows they're bringing in Dominion voting machines to do the count and allowing mail in ballots. Looks like it's going to be 50 votes to acquit and 3,125 votes to convict. Game over.

Must be a flare up of his massive hemorrhoids thanks to Romney. Vote your conscience right Mitch? Don’t vote the Constitution and the law whatever you do.

This impeachment trial is a partisan Democrat political endeavor. If the RINOs have brains in their heads they will follow McConnell’s lead and vote to acquit Trump. Trump’s supporters exceed 75 million Americans who are about 80-90% of reliable Republican voters, so by voting with the Democrats, the RINOs will be effectively writing off those Trump supporters in future Republican State primary elections when the RINOs run for re-election. Not a good prospect for the RINOs.

Donald Trump's initial appeal to a broad spectrum of voters c. 2015-16, was his status as a DC "outsider." He no longer can claim outsider status, although he can benefit from being outside of the swamp. So many supporters and columnists are convinced he will start a third party but his own words have tended to distance himself from those claims, so far. If he is planning on starting and leading a new political party but is hedging on an announcement until after his Senate trial vote, posing as a Republican in an effort to get "fellow" Republicans to vote his acquittal, would that hurt his reputation among his most ardent supporters and/or those on the fence, undecided about supporting him politically and/or financially?

I'm sick of the lies these so called AP journalists perpetrate. Trump did not try to force Ukraine to do anything. Rather Biden did by telling the Ukraine president that if he didn't fire the prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden and his Burisma cronies that he would 86 their foreign aid package.

Mitch the turtle might know his way around the floor of the senate with rules and challenges but outside in the real world he's just realizing the republicans (lower case r on purpose) need Trump supporters. Too late Mitchy boy just being in the same room of this scam trial makes you stink all over the same with Lindsey Graham. In 2016 the republicans could have rallied around the elected party President but it started with Paul Ryan the coward then the RINOs with other never Trumpers did all this. Billions of dollars wasted on a Russian hoax and two impeachments makes Washington a useless cesspool. Our President now sits at home in Florida and I'm happy for him and his family while the republican party is going to die and Mitch knows it.
