The attorneys representing Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial, Bruce Castor and David Schoen, have received a lot of criticism concerning their presentation to the Senate. Indeed, some of it has come from their client. Yet, in some ways, the time constraints that contributed to their apparent lack of polish worked in their favor. They couldn’t call in professional filmmakers to produce a slick and deceptive video montage. (snip) But they did have the facts, the Constitution, and one crucial question they wanted to ask the Democrats. “Why is the majority of the House of Representatives afraid of the American people?”

While this question posed by the Trump legal team is a good one, I am still perplexed to not see front and center a defense line that Antifa/BLM were the key planners/perps of July 6th chaos. I've seen plenty of new media articles linking arrests that day of Antifa/BLM actors/rioters to the chaos. It is clear to most of us flyover country MAGA Americans that this was pre-planned and funded by the Soros/Antifa/BLM/Obama Marxo-terrorists--likely as a diversion to the election fraud fiasco. That said, it is not a large leap, but merely one half step of faith to see that Pelosi/Schumer/Biden fingerprints on the aftermath. I want to see a rigorous defense of Trump on these grounds--surely Trump has some private investigators who have gather key intel on this traitorous act by these revolutionaries.

Dems and RINOs are scared because it is quite obvious that their election fraud has created 80 MILLION Trumps. He doesn't have to run in 2024. Anybody he backs will win. And then too jmpeachment whores, you have 2022 to worry about. 80 million waiting patiently to GET YOU.

Gateway Pundit did a revealing video and investigation of 20 in the mob and they are not Trump supporters. The entire layout is long to view but accurate. The MAGA hats they wore were taken off and replaced with riot helmets hardly things a Trump supporter brings to a rally. The CP were in on it and led the mob around like a tourist tour. The shooting of Babbitt was staged as are all the people surrounding her (I don't believe she is dead) the 30 minute video of it tells a lot. If a Trump supporter from the rally drifted into the capital with the mob they were very stupid I wouldn't have done that.
Trumps defense attorneys should have know they would be squelched even though the left attempts to make it true about the riot caused by Trump. The left's ridiculous charges are telling on them.

This impeachment doesn't involve a difference of views, where the Republican legal case will prevail. This is theatrics, where Democrats excel, and the precedent is the Reichstag Fire. If Republicans insist that they "won" if Trump isn't impeached, that will just prove their ignorance. They say history doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes: https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/the-reichstag-fire

You would think by now we would know who the Capitol Police arrested. I believe they were the antifa types, that's why they are not telling us. Maybe after this fraud impeachment fails, we will find out.

Impeachment is not a game for lawyers; it's a political exercise. Droning on about "technicalities", offering nothing but measured argument read from a paper on a lectern is a loser as politics. YAWN...okay...vote along party lines. Everyone claims victory.
Hire lawyers and you get litigation, just like this. FPDT could have saved himself a pile of money defending himself, and likely done a better job with the political aspect. His object should have been to draw eyeballs to this proceeding, to lay out the House managers and call out the Senate, starting with Chuckie Schumer. He could have laid out the entire pile of Dem/Swamp feces from 2015 to today...over all objections and demands for order. He hired lawyers...

Hey #6, I think Trump realized that if he attended the trial and testified or even defended himself, both arms of the Uni-Party would have stacked the rules against him, dragged out the trial to become a media spectacle, and ultimately this would have done more harm than any good he could have gotten from it. I like the mindset you have (to attack), but this was not the right battlefield. Trump held his fire, has regrouped, and hopefully has planned out his counterattack when this Uni-Party fiasco ends. He will be free and clear and on the attack politically at that time. Watch out!

Democrats think that the voters are too stupid to know what they want or to think for themselves. Democrats think that the people need to be hand fed selected information that fits their narrative. Deviation from the narrative is not allowed due to Democrat group-think and iron fisted rule.
