Sen. Chuck Grassley on Friday called on the Justice Department to explain its decision to close an investigation into leaks of information about former national security adviser Michael Flynn with a finding of no wrongdoing on the part of Obama administration officials. The New York Times reported Tuesday that federal prosecutors quietly closed a criminal probe into the leak of information to The Washington Post in 2017 regarding Flynn’s phone calls in December 2016 with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Grassley is my senator. I have always voted for him. If he doesn’t retire in 2022, I hope that he will be primaried. If he is, I’ll vote for his opponent. If he isn’t, I’ll vote for the democrat. He let us all down. If we’re going to go communist, let’s go full bore !!

The DoJ is fundamentally corrupt. It's actually pretty simple once you get past the pollyanna view that people in DC are "good people". They are NOT good people. They are liars, thieves and traitors in the largest measure.

Like that other wimpy Republicans in Congress, Grassley does a lot of talking, but that’s about all. When is the last time you saw the Congressional Republicans do anything substantial that the Congressional Democrats opposed?

And yes too - what about Durham's investigation? Is he also afraid of 'them' - or is he one of them. Inquiring and reasonable minds want to know. What, Mr. Durham, are your conclusions? On the same page with Grassley. Yes, by all means, FBI and DOJ - what are your findings on what happened during the Flynn 'investigation'? Many questions - no answers! What gives? We're paying for all this; we deserve to know 'the truth'!

Chuck Grassley is the reason we had problems with the DOJ during Trump's presidency. He refused to allow a new AG for Trump until it started getting personally embarrassing to him. I suspect Trump wanted some actual patriots in key positions, but Grassley and Turtle would not allow that. Grassley played protect the swamp for how many years with Sessions?

Mr. Grassley: Remember a year ago when folks out here in fly-over said there was a familiar feeling that nothing was going to happen??? Remember that? Did you not believe us? I guess not. The Swamp always wins...which is why I have not given a dime to any politician nor political action committee or the Republican money collecting group. So sorry, former friends. I'm done. Donald Trump is the exception because he has a very successful track record of saying and doing.

According to the court filing, John Doe said he was solicited and recruited for sex trafficking as a minor. After his escape, material depicting his abuse was disseminated on Twitter. “When Twitter was first alerted to this fact and John Doe’s age, Twitter refused to remove the illegal material and instead continued to promote and profit from the sexual abuse of this child,” the plaintiffs allege.

The infectious diseases specialist that double-masking is a logical way to curb the spread of the coronavirus. “If you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes common sense that it likely would be more effective,” Fauci said on the “Today” show. The White House advisor explained that the face coverings prevent respiratory droplets—and the virus—from spreading to other people, as well as protecting the wearer. Other experts also say that wearing a surgical mask underneath a cloth face covering provides more protection.

"Trump departed the White House a possible — many would say probable, provable — criminal, one who has left a sordid trail of potential and actual misconduct that remains to be fully investigated," wrote Conway. "A desperate fear of criminal indictment may even explain Trump's willingness to break any number of laws to stay in office despite losing his reelection bid, democracy and the Constitution be damned."
