The Catholic Church in America has been thrust into a new and unprecedented crisis—namely the election of Joseph Biden to the presidency. If not dealt with properly, Biden’s presidency will cause serious damage to the very truth of what it means to be Catholic.Of course, I am referring to the fact that while Biden professes the Catholic faith, he fully supports legalized abortion, same-sex “marriage” and transgenderism, and vowed that he will do all he can to advance these causes during his administration. Nonetheless, Biden’s practice of Catholicism will be on display for the whole world to observe—as he attends Mass and receives Holy Communion.

Wilton Gregory and Blase Cupich are the spawn of the devil in my opinion. They will aid and abet Joe Biden to set the "new Catholicism" standard. They are the kind of clergy who give "permission" to Catholics to vote for pro abortion politicians. It sickens me.

He has no business receiving the Eucharist.
The Church should have made a stand against him and Pelosi years ago.
They should have been excommunicated.
The catholic has not done this because they want to stay friends with politicians that can do them favors, or hurt them in financial ways such as their tax free status. It's political and the Catholic Church should not place politics over the Faith

Lunch bucket joe does not have the authority or the capability to REDEFINE the “American” Catholic Church. There is no such church. The Catholic Church is One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. If Cardinal Gregory and any other cardinal, bishop, priest and yes Pope, agree with China joe, they are just as guilty of supporting abortion. Giving communion to ole joe is a grave sin. As is for any Catholic who support the guy. It’s not a cafeteria church. Pick what you like. Don’t bother with what you don’t like. If people think ole joe will be authority of teachings in the church, they are only fooling themselves.
Ole joe may lead the downfall of American way of life but he will never lead the church.

Dementia Jo married a divorced woman, Jill the Adulteress. That, in the eyes of the Church, is adultery.
Just one more reason for the Church to shut down the Communion rail for Dementia Jo.

This is an exceptional analysis of the dilemma/situation the RCC is in now as relates to "Catholic" Joe. Please take the time to read the full article if you have an interest, but here's the wrap-up:
"Biden’s election has brought the Church in America to a special moment—and it is a moment that the leaders of the Church must not avoid confronting. If we are to hope that the truth will ever be spoken—that those who facilitate the killing of the innocent and receive the Eucharist sin against the Body and Blood of Christ—then only two things are necessary. First, the bishops must have the conviction that something needs to be done. And second, they must have the fortitude to do it. Biden’s presidency will deeply burden the efforts of the pro-life movement. The future promises to be dark, but this darkness will be quite bleak if Biden is permitted to define the New Catholicism. If there ever was a need for the prophetic voice of the Church, it is now."

Well, with the Communist Pope, how much chance is there that the bishops will do anything? I would hope that they would, but not going to hold my breath. Not a Catholic, but have always had a certain fondness for The Church.

Joe won't receive Communion in our church. Nor will Pelosi.
Their public promotion of abortion should be enough to excommunicate themselves, latae sentenciae. No need for the Church to act. But the Church DOES need to back it up by withholding the Sacraments until they repent and are Reconciled.

With your indulgence, I'd like to clear up some common misconceptions.
The "tax free" status for churches is limited to the plate collection and the ground on which a church building itself stands. The land with the parking lot and the parish hall is subject to county property taxes. Priests, nuns and employees pay all taxes on their salaries. When a parish buys anything they pay sales taxes.
I married a divorced man. We married in the Catholic Church with a Nuptial Mass. We are not adulterers. TK's marriages were both outside the Church and, although annulments were not necessary, we were still required to request permission from the Marriage Tribunal. We did this concurrently with our Pre Cana (marriage preparation) classes.
Marriage is a Sacrament on par with Holy Orders. It is the only Sacrament where the minister of the Rite is the couple themselves. The priest is the witness for and conveys the blessing of the Church. Because the couple conveys the Sacrament, the validity is determined by the state of mind and full consent by each person. When a Catholic annulment is sought, the question is not the problems within the marriage; the question is whether or not one of the parties did not give full consent or misrepresented themselves at the altar. The Marriage Tribunal conducts in depth investigations contacting witnesses to the wedding and the marriage. Sometimes several marriages are involved and the investigations can be very costly. People don't "bribe" the Church for annulments, they are paying for the investigations. In the case of secular marriages, the Church's interest is that the party in question is ready for the full consent and commitment required. The questionnaire is quite detailed, personal and lengthy. Any couple presenting themselves for marriage in the Catholic Church in which one of the members was previously married must seek the permission of the Marriage Tribunal in their diocese. The state of the Biden's marriage is not the issue.
Biden's support for abortion is an abomination. The judicial needle-threading of our bishops about Catholic politicians who support abortion laws is an abomination. Fortunately, not all our bishops are such worldly weasels. But, what hubris we moderns possess, to think that this time in which we live is any different from humanity's past. There is no human institution that is not subject to corruption, and when the arbiters of standards themselves become corrupted, society breaks apart. Our entire Western Civilization is under attack and we're caught up in the maelstrom. Leaders, both politically and spiritually, have risen to speak for us. Others will rise also. Our political woes are the physical manifestation of our spiritual woes. Our unbeatable weapon is prayer and fasting. Through prayer God will guide our steps as we give witness to His Plan in a world determined to destroy itself. Communism will not ultimately prevail. Our salvation is in the Hands of Our Lord, and how each of us rise to the challenges of our time.

The Catholic Church left me years ago. Between the scandals, pulpit badgering for money, and its blind eye to what it terms sin, I can do better without the pomp and ceremony, let alone the exposed-as-pnony dogma. Please, no Protestant/Evangelical preaching or Bible verses. God and I are just fine together the way things are.

Even though I am Southern Baptist, I work with a lot of Catholics down here in Texas in the pro-life movement.
They are all sickened by this fake and absolutely evil "Catholic" who never met the slaughter of an unborn baby that he didn't love!!!!
If the Pope (fat chance, I know, for Pope Karl Marx I) and the bishops don't start publicly standing up to this baby killer, the Catholic Church may go the way of the Republican Party in this country. And that really would be a terrible thing. Even if you don't agree with Catholic Christian theology, the massive work of the Catholic Church in things like charity hospitals and clinics, assistance to the poor, working with unwed and single mothers, superior private schools at no cost to so many at-risk students in places with horrible public school systems, and the list goes on and on. If the Catholic Church were to fail, the cost to the government to pick up all of those services would break our economy many times over. But if Lyin' Joe Biden gets away with calling himself a "good Catholic" with no push back from the bishops, the laity will be deserting the church in masses. No parishioners, no charity donations.

This is good. I would just add that the bishops blew it a long time ago, the conundrum they now face in Chairman Xiden is just the logical outcome of not forthrightly addressing this years ago.

I went to Mass yesterday on the anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision and the priest really let the politicos and the bishops have it right between the eyes. It was refreshing. I am going to double down on prayers and add fasting as well. We really are up against the forces of darkness.

When the church embraces people like the Kennedys and Xiden, among others, They no longer are a church in my book. Yeah, I know about hate the sin, love the sinner, but don't fawn all over them. Ted Kennedy killed a young girl who could have been saved, yet he was still a "good Catholic" in the eyes of the church.II know they aren't the only church guilty of these type f actions, so that is why I will also stay home and worship in my own way.

I would regard Joe's and Jill's religious behavior as faith by convenience. During my 7th and 8th grade confirmation classes (I was confirmed in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod), we were taught about the fakery of such behavior. Joe and Jill, lest you forget, God has a long memory.

the US Bishops are most responsible for this. They should have excommunicated the abortion mob led by the Kennedy's decades ago when they had some influence. Now they are powerless and useless.

Key point: "Biden can't hide behind Francis [who] stated: “Human life is sacred and inviolable. Every civil right is based on the right to life, which is not subject to any condition, of a qualitative, economic and certainly not of an ideological nature."
The USCCB created their own problem. For ~50 years they've trampled moral law by canonically treating baby-killing as if it were a quibble about political opinions. Now Baal is challenging God by re-doing the public definition of Catholicism, and Baal is winning big.
