President Joe Biden plans to cancel the Trump administration’s 1776 Commission, only two days after the advisory panel released a report calling for a U.S. history education centered on the nation’s founding principles.
Biden(Snip) is expected to sign 17 executive actions, (Snip) a direct reversal of Trump-era policies, including the travel ban on seven predominantly Muslim countries, the construction of barriers along the U.S.-Mexican border, and the 1776 Commission to promote a “patriotic education.”
Through his day 1 executive order, Biden will “rescind the Trump administration’s 1776 Commission,” which “has sought to erase America’s history of racial injustice,” the Biden-Harris tradition team said in a press release.

As President Joe Biden was sworn into office, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) imposed sanctions on former Trump administration officials, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former national security adviser Robert O’Brien, in response to their tough-on-China policies.
The announcement came a day after Pompeo declared the CCP’s repression of Uyghur Muslims in the Xinjiang region a “genocide.”
The Chinese regime sanctioned 28 people on Jan. 20. A foreign ministry spokesperson accused them of “seriously violated China’s sovereignty,” adding that they were “responsible” for “a series of crazy moves” which “seriously disrupted China-U.S. relations.”

A Wyoming legislator on Wednesday filed for the 2022 race for the congressional seat held by Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.).
State Sen. Anthony Bouchard, a Republican, filed a statement of candidacy, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Cheney drew widespread criticism for voting with Democrats and nine other Republicans last week to impeach then-President Donald Trump.
“Wyoming was President Trump’s best state both times he ran. That’s because Wyoming voters are strong conservatives who want our leaders to stand up for America, defend our freedoms, fight for our way of life and always put working people first as President Trump did,” Bouchard said in a statement Wednesday.

If there has been one politician on these pages we have WARNED ABOUT over the years it is Senator Mitch McConnell. The Senate Majority Leader is the most conniving, cunning and Machiavellian member of the republican party.
With his positions solidifying CTH warnings for well over a decade, his actions over the past several weeks now highlight the dark background of his politics. Today, McConnell took the final stab at the people’s president as Donald Trump prepares to depart the White House. The bloom is off the ruse: (Video)The institution of the modern UniParty senate chamber requires a voter to understand the shell game.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) announced on Tuesday he would place a hold on Alejandro Mayorkas, President-elect Joe Biden’s choice to lead the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
(Snip)
“Mr. Mayorkas has not adequately explained how he will enforce federal law and secure the southern border given President-elect Biden’s promise to roll back major enforcement and security measures,” Hawley said in a statement.
“Just today, he declined to say he would enforce the laws Congress has already passed to secure the border wall system. Given this, I cannot consent to skip the standard vetting process and fast-track this nomination when so many questions remain unanswered," he added.

President-elect Joe Biden’s nominee for secretary of state, Antony Blinken, said on Jan. 19 that the Trump administration took the correct stance toward the Chinese regime, although he disagrees with the approach.
“President Trump was right in taking a tougher approach to China. I disagree very much with the way he went about it in a number of areas, but the basic principle was the right one,” Blinken said at a hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee the day before Biden was set to take office. “And I think that that’s actually helpful to our foreign policy.”

Fox News’ settlement with the parents of murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich came with one very unique provision: The deal had to stay secret until after the presidential election.
(Snip) Fox News agreed to pay the multimillion-dollar settlement to Rich’s family only if the cable news network wouldn’t be required to apologize for lying about Rich’s murder, and only if the deal was not disclosed until after the Nov. 3 election.
The lawsuit (Snip) came after Fox News propelled the conspiracy theory that Seth Rich –a 27-year-old DNC employee who was murdered in July 2016 — was assassinated after he sent internal DNC emails to Wikileaks.
