It’s unclear whether President Donald Trump would retain his U.S. Secret Service protections if he is removed from office due to the language of two conflicting laws. The Former Presidents Protection Act became law in 2013 and grants lifetimes Secret Service protection for former presidents without specifically defining who qualifies as a former president. Though the Former Presidents Act states that a president who is removed by the Senate does not qualify as a “former president” when considering post-presidency benefits.“The relevant statute – the Former Presidents Protection Act – gives any ‘former President’ a right to Secret Service protection for the rest of their lives.

If not, it will make it easier for the democrats and the GOPe to kill him. That's what some seem to want.

Like most federal employees, the agents of the USSS are Democrats. I wouldn't trust them. I think we have just been incredibly lucky that there were no successful attempts made on President Trump and that only due to luck not the skill set of the USSS.

#5 I think PDJT had his own security detail at all times in addition to the SS. Probably what saved him.

#5 you are correct. I think the SS is just as corrupt as the DOJ, FBI and the military. They would refuse to protect PRESIDENT Trump.

Like I said, they want him "removed from office" so he's easier to kill.

Why trust the SS? I don't care how sacrosanct you think any government entity to be, it can be turned. Watch your own back and trust no one Donald.

I personally believe PDT is alive today be cause of his personal security apparatus that has operated in conjunction with the Secret Service. Otherwise he would meet with an accident in a flash.

Trump would be better off hiring his own protection. The SS is part of the swamp and I would tell them thanks but no thanks. Their behavior since the Obola years has been less than stellar.

Not sure trump could afford his own protection when the dems get through with him.
They have every intention of bankrupting him.
Already New York has cut off dealing with some of his companies, The PGA and NHL have attacked him and his business's. Others are willing and anxious to follow so they can Virtue signal to the democrats.

with 75 million of us to protect him, he doesn't need much protection from anyone except the government. God help anyone who tries to hurt our President.

I wouldn't trust the SS once Biden/Obama are in charge.
As soon as Trump is a private citizen he can start suing those that lie, slander and take other illegal actions against him. It will be they that go bankrupt, not Trump.

Didn't the community punk sign in a new law that entitled Presidents SS almost to the end of their days? The children's protection was also lengthened. Without security detail most people would overlook the community organizer and mistake him for a vagrant. Remember how he always ran around the WH in short shorts, open shirts or t shirts? So very presidential! This President gave his salary away, now they want to drag him into every gutter they can think of. As long as the old hag pelousi has a non stop private jet to CA because the whining hyena does not want to get out for refueling.
Would not surprise me if the Chicago punk is behind all of this. Just a few days ago, either before the DC riot or a day after the Obamination was already calling on shutting down all right wing media outlets, their voices had to be stopped. So, why not stop that the President's SS detail, because the ugly punk cannot stand it!!
