On Thursday, Rep. Adam Kinzinger became the first Republican lawmaker to publicly call for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump as president. Kinzinger posted his remarks in a video that he published on Twitter.(Twitter/Video) Kinzinger’s call came a day after a pro-Trump mob invaded the U.S. Capitol building where Congress was in session debating challenges to the electoral votes. It’s not surprising that Kinzinger, a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and an officer in the reserves, would be the first Republican to call for Trump’s ouster via the 25th Amendment. The congressman has been a frequent critic of the president,

McCain protegee Kinzinger has done nothing other than rag on Trump. He was part of that bizarre trip McCain took to Syria wth McMuffin. That ended up with major egg on their faces because they were photographed laughing and scratching with “Syrian rebel leaders” who were subsequently identified as being ISIS leaders.
He’s sort of like Jean Fraud - always looking for publicity and reminding of his service, National Guard, etc. A boring little twit. Kind of like a pebble in your shoe.

kinzinger - A coward and a traitor!
Obviously, since the swamp is so terrified of him, he cannot be incapable of carrying out his duties. If he were, they wouldn't be so scared.

Does Illinois provide for recall of Congress critters? If not, start recruiting a formidable 2020 primary challenger today. Kinzinger must go. He's a traitor to the people who elected him, not to mention the President whose coattails he rode into office.

A jackass from the great state of Illinois so you know he is important. Just because he served in the military doesn't make him smart or give him good judgement. A republican in Illinois that the democrats accept is probably considered harmless and no threat to them.

I could be wrong about this (as unlikely as that is) but the 25th amendment has never been used to formally grant presidential powers to the vice president.

Let us not forget how Nancy kept talking about the 25th Amendment before the stimulus bill passed and everyone thought she meant Plugs. I didn't read the 5000 plus pages but she put it in them.
