Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, who is married to Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell, resigned Thursday, becoming the highest-ranking administration official to resign after President Donald Trump incited a mob of supporters who broke into the U.S. Capitol. Chao made her announcement in an email to colleagues that was obtained by The Washington Post. She later posted her message to Twitter, in a pinned tweet. 'Our country experienced a traumatic and entirely avoidable event as supporters of the President stormed the Capitol building following a rally he addressed. As I'm sure is the case with many of you, it has deeply troubled me

I seriously doubt that this excuse is her real reason for resignation! Can someone explain why this woman, who supposedly fled China to escape the red Chinese commies, travels there quite frequently with her husband? To look after their 'charity' is the official excuse. Apparently she has no problem with China's treatment of Muslims in Chinese concentration camps or their record of anything to do with 'humans'.
Odd thing, that she served in 2 administrations. Don't tell me it's 'devotion' to her new country!!!

Just look at the all out coordinated attack on our rightfully re-elected President Trump. This is a concerted effort by the communist death democrats and the republicans in Congress and in the Executive Branch.
President Trump did not, repeat did not incite a riot or violence in his speech yesterday but rather spoke to the Truth of the stolen election and the final takeover of our Republic by the Uni Party totalitarians. This is a final Get Trump and destroy him forever and separate him from his base because outside he will continue to be a threat to their grip on power.
Make no mistake, they will next be coming after We the People who supported him and trying to Protect and Defend our Republic. They will identify, attack, an destroy a certain number of ordinary, citizens like you and me in order to make an example of what will happen in order to scare the rest of Americans into submission.
They will come after us and strip us of our homes, guns, and any assets. They will even attempt to imprison us for our political views and no the police will not protect us but will follow orders.
The republicans did this to us.

These Republican office holders who are now wimping out know that they will be out of a job in less than two weeks anyway. You know what they say when the going gets tough, the “tough” get going. With the cowardly establishment Republicans you can change that to read “the cowardly pile on”.

She likely got wind of the 25th amendment proposal and bailed from the Cabinet to avoid voting either way--up or down. All of this on the advice of her weasel husband, one of the slimiest snakes ever to crawl through the halls of Congress.

Of course she resigned, her job as the eyes for Mitch and maybe China where her family still lives is finished. It was unavoidable yesterday only because the courts and congress refused to admit that the democrats committed fraud and stole what did not belong to them. In the process they disenfranchised millions of angry American voters votes.

ChiCom Chao, whose father is a bigwig in Communist China. And nobody can be a bigwig in Communist China without being in their employ. Mitch has been tainted goods for a long time, and this witch is his handler, reporting back to the ChiComs regularly, no doubt.

You got to remember after Trump was elected and had to staff his incoming administration that he did not have a huge loyal political machine behind him that he could depend on to fill even the top level positions in his administration, in other words from the get-go Trump was, and still is, one man against the corrupt and self-serving DC establishment political Uniparty and bureaucratic “Deep State” system that has been trying to remove him from office since the day he was inaugurated.
So Trump had to depend upon the DC Republican establishment that consists of “insider” politicians and operatives for recommendations to fill most positions in his administration. As Trump found out that does not work at all to have a lot of disloyal people filling high level positions in the White Hose and the Executive Federal Agencies, and that occurred because of those establishment recommendations that were calculated from the get-go to sabotage Trump and his administration.
One of the worst mistakes that Trump made was bringing a number of retired military Generals into his administration, as those retired Generals who were also unelected military bureaucrats and politicians, were not used to taking orders from a civilian like Trump who they considered to be a know-nothing even though he was elected President by the American people as the Commander in Chief in what was a fair election. Remember those Generals were used to giving the final order on all issues and only expected to hear in response the phrase “Yes Sir”, also remember that none of those retired Generals ever won a war in their military careers but nevertheless consider themselves to be the highest authority and last word on all military issues and strategies.
The most recent disloyal appointment that Trump made on the advise of the establishment Republicans was William Barr, when Trump nominated him to be the Attorney General. Recent events and comments by Barr show that he was actually just a “placeholder” for the never Trump establishment Republicans, and never had any intention of getting to the bottom of the Russian “collusion” hoax that was created by Hillary Clinton and her Democrat political machine with the intention of forcing Trump from office. Once Biden is inaugurated look for that matter to be quietly dumped into a file 13 never to be seen again.
Bottom line the DC “UniParty”insiders were never going to allow an outsider like Trump, who was elected by ordinary Americans beyond the DC beltway who actually make the country go, to settle in and upset their corrupt DC based financial apple-carts.

#26....you are seriously misinformed. Elaine Chao never lived in Taipei beyond the first grade. Your story is ridiculous.
But, her father has a lot of stinking connections to the ChiComs.
From Wikipedia (and no doubt, this is the sanitized version, given the source). Chao's father runs
The Foremost Group, a large shipping company.
"The Foremost Group, has extensive ties to the Chinese state and Chinese elites. It obtained hundreds of millions of dollars worth of loans from a bank owned by the Chinese state, has substantial interests tied to a major shipyard funded by and long-term contracts with a steel producer owned by the Chinese state. In what The Times described as "a rarity for foreigners", Angela and James Chao have served on the boards of a Chinese state-owned shipbuilder, and Angela has been on the board of the Bank of China, as well as the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (which was created by the government of China)."
Chao has been living in the USA since the second grade, and her father has very close financial ties with the ChiComs, basically they have helped him to become very rich.
In the Cold War days, the Russians let one "amazing American entrepreneur" by the name of Armand Hammer explore for oil, drill, produce and export oil in the Soviet Union. Only ONE. Years later we discovered that Hammer was permitted to create this wealth (Occidental Petroleum) as a cover for money moving into the USA, where Hammer was the paymaster for all things that the KGB and GRU did in the way of spying and subverting our country. Armand Hammer was Al Gore, Sr.'s primary political funding source, and both Al Gores worked for the Kremlin more than for the USA, count on it.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Chaos aren't the ChiCom version of Armand Hammer. Set up an "American" (actually pure Chinese) to do business in your country, and let them get rich....with the agreement that they fund whatever spying and criminal things you need funded inside the USA. And that the daughter marries a powerful, corrupt American politician is just gravy. Does anyone think that Mitch doesn't take orders from the ChiComs?

Rule of thumb. Any Chinese person in the world outside China who has family living in China must cooperate with the Communist Chinese Government if they don’t want their family members in China to disappear and possibly end up as involuntary organ donors. In China anyone could disappear at anytime. If you are legitimately friendly with a Chinese person who has lived in China ask them and “off the record” they will tell you.
