At the end of his second term, amid the early retrospectives about his presidency, George W. Bush reportedly remarked, “the true history of my administration will be written 50 years from now.” It was a wise reminder that the passage of time generally yields a more honest, dispassionate analysis of events than is often allowed by the heated political present. While we are left to wonder how history will judge the last four years of President Trump, it will hopefully be with more fairness than the often-unhinged levels of coverage he’s received to date. Yet as the nation’s self-appointed purveyors of truth dutifully tap out their think pieces

I also hope there is a more honest press/journalist then, but remember the winner writes history. I, like so many others, have lived through many seasons/years of hyperbole on 'Oh we are all gonners, the country is finished ' etc. I see how it IS possible that this is the last honest election, but the Pollyanna in me still says we will pull through and perhaps with a stronger base than ever. Then again, if it wasn't for that fishing accident I would be prepared to protect myself, my family, and much of my county. Out here you can hear the shots echoing through the canyons, and there is more than one good ol' boy that has a few things they want to burn off.

The left will never want a smart patriotic citizen-president ever again. It makes all the career politicians, and the media, look really bad.

If Trump did nothing else, he exposed how deep, and wide the political rot, the corruption, the stench, the degradation of our government in Washington, D.C. That would include many state governments. It boggles the mind. Trump did tremendous to help the everyday American. He tried his best to hand our country back to us. One half of the country rejected his efforts.

It has been well over 50 years, yet we fail to get "a more honest, dispassionate analysis" of JFK, who was a womanizer who cheated on his wife, abandoned the Cuban freedom fighters at the last minute, and socialized with the Mafia. Yet we only ear about what a great man he was(?) and how he accomplished great things(?). No, I don't think Trump will be given his due even then. Too much of the media follows the leftist pipers.

I have previously said and continue to believe that President Trump has been one of the greatest Presidents in America's history. Furthermore, it's the kind of "history" that transcends the written word, so it will never be dependent on "who won" and its sycophant choir of Deep State historians. No, his story is the stuff of epic legends, passed on through the ages in the minds and hearts of the people who saw and understood his courage on their behalf in the face of impossible odds.
Like Leonidas and the 300 holding off the invading hordes. In this case, even more amazingly, it was Donald Trump fending off not just the external hordes streaming across our borders opened by our internal enemy Democrats but also deflecting and dodging the backstabbing knives of his own party's RINOs and the constant libelous lying of the enemedia.
No. No epic hero in the history of the human race has ever had to fight off such a collection of enemies while defending his beloved country and people. Ave atque vale, President Trump. Your people, and history, will never forget.

George Washington had a sword and led his patriots in bleakest of times and seasons. President Donald Trump had his tweets and at all hours of night and day lead his patriots through the harshest four years of his families life to save the country. I remember President Reagan being a 'good' President but at the time he was dealing with a more sane group of socialist across the aisle so to speak. In these times the leftist America hating, racist have gelled in a much more sinister group opposing the President and us patriots than in the 1980s. Trump is a greater President.

There will be attention given to his personality and how it muted his success but that success is undeniable. He will be labeled, of course, probably as a 'populist' rather than as a common-sense conservative who fought for the middle and working classes and restored order to our international relations. Hopefully in 50 years the conservative press and media will be more plentiful and our universities will have come to their senses after being gutted because of their own malfeasance.

I am not convinced that President Trump is not done... call it my pollyanna attitude...he is a master chess player and he has something up his sleeve...his knights and bishops have been checked ... but the board is alive with pawns...waiting for the King and Queen to make their final move...wait for it...

Donald Trump is the greatest leader we have seen in our lifetimes.
Our beloved President has destroyed the the New World Order. Globalism in which Communist China leads at the expense of American capital will be inexorably gone after being exposed. Nationalism, now called America First is back. This Lion championed Western Civilization. Trump awakened a sleeping giant, and Europe and the Rothschilds will not be able to guide the world. We are now aware that immigration brings down salaries for the poor. We now fully realize that a corrupt Deep State needs to be neutered, that our journalists are Marxist agitators, that Black Democrats steal elections, that schools and universities teach Marxism, that there are two standards of justice in D.C. due to the concentration of Democrat judges and juries. Trump has shown how effective the praxis of capitalism is with only a few years of 21% business taxes. Trump brought to heel our Islamist enemies by bombing them to pieces even while our military revealed disloyal staff officers (Mattis, Mullen, Esper, McCrystal, Petraeus). Brought peace to the Middle East. Secured a lasting agreement with Mexico. A fairer trade deal with our sworn enemy China. Trump represents the best of America: patriotism, God, and the pursuit of happiness though private property.
To defeat our champion the Marxist steamroller had to destroy our election system through fraud, but it will be a Pyrrhic victory for our eyes are wide open to the evil methods of the Globalist enemies of America.
Donald J. Trump is a leader who has made me wealthy for the first through retirement savings, while taking enormous losses for his family. Trump is a Man in full for the ages. Thank God for sending him to US.

President Trump was/is a Gamechanger the likes of which this country has never seen. Think about how we regarded our government, bureaucracies, institutions and the overall bipartisan Ruling Class before him. Incompetent, somewhat corrupt, sure, but not necessarily treasonous or downright evil.
Now?

My two favorite heroes, Donald Trump and Rush Limbaugh, have kept me busy before the throne of God, asking for His care over them both. I've prayed more in the past 4 years than in the last 78 years of my life! (Finally learned to pray for those who lead us) Ezra & Nehemiah: build the wall AND watch your back.
