Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, a rising star in the Democratic Party who was recently considered for a position in President-elect Joe Biden's cabinet, is coming under fire for her administration's handling of a surge in violent crime in her city. Saying she was 'open to suggestions' on stopping the crime wave, the mayor was on the defensive over the holiday weekend after three people were fatally shot in the city, bringing Atlanta's homicide count to its highest in more than two decades. It's a common occurrence in leftist-run cities these days. The solution is to elect No More Democrats.

Bottoms, you could always try Denver Mayor Hancock (of Denver Players/Denver Sugar fame) for his "valuable insights.

She can call Mayor Rudy. He knows how it's done. But she won't because he's a Republican and he doesn't believe in sitting down with perps and having milk and cookies to discuss why it's society's fault they have turned to crime.

She has been more interested in re-opening the Atlanta Child Murders case from 1980, succumbing to wild fantasies that the 'real killer' was never apprehended.

Maybe by telling everyone that you intend to enforce the law by prosecuting the perpetrators of all those murders, and then by doing hat.

THIS IS WHAT CIVIC LEADERSHIP IN ATLANTA LOOKS LIKE:
"Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the city council has 'done the best they can on the policy side' to stem the violence and POINTED AT POLICE, saying they need to have more presence on the streets."

NYC, after decades of Democrat mayors like Dinkens, Koch, Beame, LIndsay, etc., was a cesspool. Then Giuliani came in and cleaned it up in less than 3 years. Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, here's a hint: ARREST THOSE THAT ARE COMITTING THE CRIMES, AND CONCENTRATE POLICE IN THE AREAS WHERE CRIME IS ACTUALLY OCCURING! You'd be absolutely amazed by the results!

The solution is obvious. Totally defund the police. Shut all cop shops down completely and offer midnight basketball, $20 Walmart gift cards, and establish and dispatch quick response social worker and voter registration teams out as quickly as possible.

of course she doesn't know. what did she do before becoming mayor of Atlanta? and did that experience qualify her for being elected mayor? biggest question: does she attend church? and if so, is it affiliated with Jeremiah Wright's church? there is not one word about Bottom's political history but plenty about past killings by fire arm. this little girl will only end up being another "statistic" for the demcom party and its pursuit to ban all fire arms, everywhere, except, of course, if one is a demcom. tragic loss of a little girl's life for nothing.

You can't make inner-city black people get jobs, marry the mothers of their children and care about getting an education. Lifestyle changes will reduce crime. If you keep calling bad habits "my culture," no one, black or white, can solve your city's problems.

Schools and educators need to acknowledge that there ARE absolute truths and there are absolute rules of conduct in life to which every human should aspire. God told us .... among them are Thou shalt not kill and "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind' and 'Your neighbor as yourself.'"

It's the same in Baltimore, and I suspect nobody has the guts to say the truth. The inner city black culture is the problem and needs to change.

Just call that Lightfoot creature in Chicago. She's an expert in the topic of murdered children and will have plenty of suggestions. Maybe the two cities can get together and start a betting game on statistics by age group.
Heaven forbid you should try effective law enforcement with the death penalty on the table for murder.

Ask Mayor Giuliani, he's done it before, he can tell her what to do....but, of course, for his recommendations to work, Keisha would need to first abandon her commitment to liberal priorities.
