Is karma going to come calling for Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats? I know that it sounds crazy, yet another improbable scenario in a season when our hopes have been dashed repeatedly after hearing predictions that a stolen presidential election would be rectified in the courts. But the scenario that follows is far from impossible, given House rules for voting in person, the tiniest House of Representatives majority (9 votes) in decades, the deep ideological split within the Democrats (downplayed or ignored by the partisan media) and the fading lucidity of Nancy Pelosi.

“COVID is a wild card,” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.). “If we have sick members who cannot come back, and we only have a four-vote majority, it throws our entire advent of the 117th Congress in peril — a smooth advent.”
No, Covid is the TRUMP card.

The Speaker of the House does not have to be a House member. How about the House Republicans, using this scenario, vote for Donald J Trump as Speaker of the House.

Ok so KM becomes the Speaker, Republicans win both Georgia Senate seats and Trump pulls off the save. Sidney Powell before Attorney General Rudy Giuliano becomes head of the DOJ and General Flynn becomes the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

Instead of focusing on the communist death democrat's ongoing stolen election coup which is the greatest danger facing this country, so-called "wise conservative pundit" Lifson focuses on a really dumb and outlandish scenario regarding the death democrats actually allowing a minority republican to assume the speakership of the House, although McCarthy is a stealth democrat in republican clothes. This is deliberate misdirection by a supposed conservative media sage to divert our attention away from focusing on the election coup because they too are enraged by President Trump upsetting their cozy financial arrangements with the death democrat's deep state power structure.
One positive result from this election coup is the unmasking of how many republicans and faux conservative media pundits who also hate us and are on the side of the communist death democrats. Know your enemy.

Pelosi is not the problem. Republicans that continue to side with the Left, against Conservatives and Trump, are the real problem.

Ain't gonna happen. No matter how fractured, feuding, or COVID-ridden the dem reps may be, they are consistently monolithic in their ideology: they will resoundingly reelect this witch.

The fact that Pelosi has been leading while insane for a number of years is proof that at least half of the House is crazy as well, clueless and useless. For the past four years, their sole occupation has been to attempt to ruin President Trump.
Pigs have no problem flying, it's the landing that causes them difficulty. The aerodynamics of a flat nose just isn't cutting it.

It definitely COULD happen - - but it would only be temporary.
The Speaker is not elected for a fixed term. A new vote can be taken at any time. As soon as the demonrats know they have a majority - - there will be a new vote. The problem for the demonrats is deciding on whom the new Speaker would be. Can those stinking commies ever unify?
The Pubbies could have replaced the traitor Ryan at any time - - but not a single one of them had the guts to do so. Let's see how the demonrat commies handle the same situation.

Well folks... is the master plan to control Washington in peril?... is Nancy's master plan in jeopardy?...I know God is in charge... but sometimes it's so scary... I pray he is commanding the ship...I recall huddled around a tiny radio in Europe listening to radio free Europe during WWII... waiting for any news of Normandy... knowing WE could do nothing and praying Eisenhower and Patton knew what they were doing...WE are now in that place...

We're searching the bible for scripture that will allow us to pray for covid sickness to come upon the demonrats and keep the repubs in good health. Don't worry...covid is 99.9% curable. It's not like the unemployment and lockdown that the demonrat governors have done that has caused death (suicide) and destruction in the economy. (We still believe that China and the demonrats somehow were in league with this )

Reply 2, The thought of all the Progressive heads exploding if President Trump was voted speaker of the house is a delicious fantasy, but it will never happen. Democrats outnumber Republicans in the House.
If Democrats, who have had enough of Pelosi have an alternative, that is not as bad as Pelosi, it would be a good idea for Republicans to back that alternative.

#17 - my heart skipped a beat when I read your comment and you mentioned Normandy and WW II. My dad passed away on Christmas Day. He was 100 years 4 months and 4 days old. He served in the 101st Airborne and jumped into Normandy. He earned his Purple Heart during the Battle of the Bulge.

This is a bunch of pie-in-the-sky hooey.
The Speaker of the House is elected by a "majority of those present". If a few Dems may not be there on the first day it just means that the Republican nominee wins ... but only gets to stay in office until the missing Dems show up and vote to remove him/her. This means about a day or two ... a week at most ... will go by before the new Republican Speaker is removed!
A split vote among the Dems who ARE present could also happen --- thus achieving the same result of a temporary Republican majority --- but I doubt it. Again, the Dems would just re-group and vote to remove the Speaker, immediately hold another election for Speaker and then elect one of their own.

WuHanNan's antics have cost the Dims seats--and left others very vulnerable to being picked off. The margin is narrow.
No one mentions the down ballot races; but, Trump's coat tails could flip more seats-like John James and Martha McSally etc. Their seats have been delayed b/c of this fraud and theft.
Does anyone like or respect Nasty? It's $ and fear, more likely. And they appear to be fading fast.
For my part, I don't want a masked pillbox in the WH-not even for a moment.

The Democrats now have a lead of 10 as of last night because a Louisiana Republican Congressman-elect who was 41 died from COVID last night.
