That is the question posed by Adam Nagourney, a loyal Democratic Party foot soldier, in the New York Times: “A Stinging Setback in California Is a Warning for Democrats in 2022.”
The Democrats’ losses came for a number of reasons, including forces particular to California and the complications of campaigning during a pandemic. But as much as anything, they reflected the potency of Republican attacks, some false or exaggerated, that Democrats were the party of socialism, defunding the police and abolishing private health insurance.
This is rich. Nagourney doesn’t cite any Republican attacks

Information appears to be breaking quickly in the case of the Nashville bombing.
As I wrote earlier, the police had identified a “person or persons of interest.” Now, CBS is reporting the name of that person as 63 year old Anthony Quinn Warner and police appear to be at a property related to him now. Police have not yet officially confirmed that name and it’s important to note that a person of interest is not necessarily the same thing as a suspect. An RV that looks very similar to the RV believed to be involved in the bombing has previously been parked at that house

In March 2010, nine members of the so-called Hutaree Militia were arrested on charges of seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction, teaching the use of explosive materials, and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence. The next year, the same scene was played out in Georgia when four men, Frederick Thomas, 73; Dan Roberts, 67; Ray Adams, 65; and Samuel Crump, 68, were arrested and charged with conspiring to attack federal buildings and kill federal officials. Focus on the ages for a second. In this case, one of the informants was facing federal child porn charges and the prosecutor was none other than Sally Yates

Mayors from around the country are facing a common threat that isn't just the coronavirus: spiking violent crime. Across virtually every large urban area, a wave of violent crime has plagued residents as they struggle to adjust to new pandemic-related restrictions and a general decline in their quality of life. From bustling metropolises such as New York to sleepier cities like Salt Lake, violent crime has reached levels not seen for years or, in some cases, decades.According to data analyst Jeff Asher, 51 major U.S. cities saw their murder rates increase this year by an average of 35.7% through September compared to 2019.

On Saturday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) stated that he believes Americans should receive $2,000 direct payments, and that if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) removes the pork from the spending package, “she’ll get overwhelming Republican support. She’ll certainly have my support, but just to add a $2,000 payment instead of a $600 payment to the pork that’s in the bill is just unacceptable.”Buck said, “I absolutely am in favor of giving the American people $2,000. I think it’s the right move. I think the president’s absolutely right, but that’s only part of what the president is suggesting.

Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway said on Fox News Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s fight against the latest pork-stuffed coronavirus relief package is emblematic of conservative populism’s strength.
“I think what the president is showing here is that he still is the president, that he’s more in line with that populist sentiment throughout the country than he is the swamp, and that he still has something to say,” Hemingway said the day after Trump threatened a veto of the legislation he declared a “disgrace.” (Video)

Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway highlighted another set of elitist double standards about the Biden scandals Wednesday on Fox News, arguing if President-elect Joe Biden were President Donald Trump, a special counsel probe would already be underway.
“If we applied the same standards to Joe Biden that we applied to Donald Trump, Joe Biden himself would already have a special counsel on him for obstruction of justice,” Hemingway said. “Joe Biden is making false claims about the nature of the investigation into his son. He said that it was foul play, that the investigation was foul play. These were the standards that were used to put a special counsel that was

President Trump won a landslide election in November and had it stolen from him, by a guy hiding in the basement, hours after midnight, in at least five swing states.
The evidence of fraud is undeniable. But the GOP elites, liberal fake news media, the tech giants, the Chinese and the cheating Democrats want President Trump to fold.
GOP elites are willing to wait for the next Republican to win in a landslide and maybe win the election. Our GOP elites are not so bright.
Brit Hume of FOX News fame tweeted this out today.
Brit thinks President Trump is embarrassing himself.
Anyone who follows Brit Hume should not be so surprised by this tweet.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is slamming a reporter over the handling of coverage of his wife’s alleged COVID -19 diagnosis. In a series of tweets Thursday, the nation’s top diplomat refuted a now-deleted post which claimed that he and wife Susan Pompeo had attended a State Department holiday party one day before testing positive. “My wife and I did not attend any State Department nor White House holiday parties — your statement is patently FALSE,” Pompeo wrote. “This isn’t journalism and it’s worse than gossip — it’s unethical and potentially unlawful. Stay tuned.”

ENNERSTOWN – Bill Berkey was 17 years old when he delivered his first newspaper for The Tribune-Democrat.
Fifty-years years later, on Dec. 31, the 67-year-old will deliver his last edition and hang up his delivery bag for good.
“I really enjoyed doing it,” Berkey said. “I’m going to miss it when I go, but it’s becoming too much.
“I’m very proud of having delivered newspapers to my friends and neighbors for 50 years.”
Berkey began his career in the summer of 1970, delivering the newspaper in the Jennerstown area, and shared the route with his brother, Tim.

With the possibility that President Trump may be serving out his last month in office, the target of a Deep State coup is facing the grim reality that the perpetrators may get away with it.With the installation of frontman Joe Biden likely only weeks away, Trump appears to be realizing that the fix has always been in and that former Attorney General William P. Barr was put in place by powerful interests to run out the clock. Barr's early departure this week comes with several dangling loose ends including the "investigation" by bulldog federal prosecutor John Durham into the origins of the Russia collusion scam undertaken by Barack Obama's FBI

The Washington Post has joined the chorus of Joe Biden’s supporters who are warning him not to implement his campaign trail promise to recklessly dismantle President Donald Trump’s hard-earned, pr0-American border reforms.Biden “must also avoid triggering a new humanitarian crisis at the Mexican border featuring unauthorized Central Americans and Mexicans streaming north,” the Post’s editorial board said in a column on December 24.The statement continued: Any sudden move to abolish [Trump’s] policy without an orderly system to replace it could be read as a green light that would invite more migrants than the U.S. bureaucracy can process.

FOX News continues to haemorrhage viewers.
The top FOX News shows are all getting trounced by the CNN and MSNBC competition. But maybe if FOX News ups their game they will capture some of the leftist crowd in the near future.
ShowBuzz Daily has the latest ratings and they are UGLY for FOX News.
Larry Schweikert reported tonight that FOX News lost nearly half of their audience.

An 82-year-old COVID patient was beaten to death by his 37-year-old hospital roommate for praying.
The younger man used an oxygen tank to beat his elderly roommate to death.
No doubt, local authorities and the CDC will list this as a COVID death.
Business Insider reported:
The police in California are investigating the death of a man in a hospital who they say was struck by another patient wielding an oxygen tank.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said this week Jesse Martinez, 37, struck an 82-year-old Hispanic man who was being treated for COVID-19 in the same room in the Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Due to Congressional legislation to extend the federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) and Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) programs has been delayed in Washington, D.C., the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry (L&I) is strongly encouraging the more than 500,000 Pennsylvanians receiving payments through these expiring programs to seek other forms of assistance. According to a statement released Saturday, under the current CARES Act, both programs will stop at the end of this month and Pennsylvania claimants will not receive payments after the week ending December 26. “Pennsylvanians receiving PUA or PEUC payments need to be aware

The facts about the Christmas morning bomb in Nashville are not complicated. What is complicated is understanding who set off the bomb and why. That’s because this bombing does not match any other bombs that have exploded in the Western world. (snip) I cannot think of a single act of Muslim terrorism that did not have as its primary goal killing as many people as possible.
Unlike the Oklahoma City bombing, this bomb did not target a government building. (snip) What’s not enjoyable is realizing how seemingly easy it was for someone to do this – and again, I wonder if that wasn’t the message: Americans are vulnerable.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is willing to lie about measures to control the Chinese virus in order to manipulate public opinion, and is therefore an extremely useful tool for those who seek to shut down American as long as possible. (snip) Consider this BS being pushed by CBS News:
"Medical schools see surge in applicants, thanks to 'Fauci effect'" (snip) the percentage rise in law school applications is 77% greater than the rise in med school applications.
I can guarantee you to CBS would never headline that Fauci’s lies and changing positions have discouraged people from applying to med school, compared to law school.

At long last, 2020 is about to end. It was a terrible year, marked by a once-a-lifetime pandemic that brought to heel our economy and put an abrupt halt to hundreds of millions of law-abiding Americans’ way of life. We also endured a once-a-generation national “dialogue” about race, characterized, in part, by months of anarchic mayhem. We had a national reckoning about the maturation and rise of a geopolitical archenemy, the Chinese Communist Party.

During a Christmas address, former New York City mayor and President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani spoke out about the path forward regarding President Trump's 2020 election fight. "I can report to you not the final result but we are well beyond the point that would change the election," Giuliani said while discussing the vote margin in Wisconsin. "Remember, only 10,000 in Wisconsin.""So starting after Christmas this is really going to blow up because the evidence that all these crooked television networks, newspapers, big tech and the leadership of the Democrat party have been giving you is false and you are going to find it out all at once.

The voter fraud in this year’s presidential election was widespread and extensive.Instead of asking where was the fraud? The real question is where was there NO fraud? Democrats used every trick in their book to steal votes and manufacture ballots. Here is the latest proof of voter fraud in Texas.Democrats manufactured votes — in the same city, in the same handwriting and at the same address. This is what Democrats do. And they will continue to do this until people are sent to jail. This needs to stop. Where is the DOJ? Where is the FBI?

WASHINGTON — Ivanka Trump on Friday wished her followers a Merry Christmas and tweeted a family photo from inside the White House as they prepare to leave public office. “Merry Christmas!” the senior White House advisor and eldest daughter of President Trump captioned a photo of her, husband Jared Kushner and their three children grinning inside the executive residence. It appears the snap was taken ahead of Christmas Day, with the commander in chief and first lady spending the holidays at their Mar-a -Lago resort in Palm Beach.
