President Trump’s recent executive order prohibiting Americans from investing in companies tied to China’s military complex has set up a fight in the highest ranks of government over how broad the list should be.
Since November, the White House barred U.S. investors from buying into 35 Chinese companies the Pentagon has classified as aiding China’s defense, intelligence and security apparatus. It sparked selloffs of Chinese stocks and bonds, forced index firms to drop companies from marquee benchmarks, and pushed Wall Street to reassess risks from investing in China.

China you sent us the CCP virus, so I will gut your businesses. I love Trump! Hit them where it hurts the most!

Will the Biden's go broke if we kick the Chinese out? I hate to think of them eking out a pitiful living on only 7 or 8 billion or so and only 15 McMansions! They'll be reduced to only money laundering and drug dealing. On my desk right this minute, except for my Trump signs, and the desk itself, there is not anything on it Made in America, not even my lamp and my thermometer. (I'll try to keep a civil tongue in my head.)

Chinese professor said "we now have our people in high positions in the U.S. We had to get our people back in. Wall Street could not fix Trump...." In other words, Trump couldn't be bought (or blackmailed) by China and Wall Street (China's lapdog) like most of the Dems, and at least half of the Republicans and military brass, judges and DOJ. He was their giant roadblock. He was not willing to sell out his country like all the traitors everywhere. God bless him and keep him safe and strong.

Our Chinese factory was leased for 49 years, no ownership of land and that includes our expat condos. They buy up our businesses, farms, ranches, homes and equity FOREVER. One thing you can be sure is fascist politicians are easily played the fool thinking the Chicoms have their best interests in mind.

Despite the paywall, the first paragraphs set the table.
As usual, you only need to follow the money. Those who oppose the President's ban are the very same individuals who would benefit financially with getting in bed with the chicoms. Right, biden the cheater, Hunter, and James? Right, RINO pubbies and dims?

What do you expect from a bunch of crooked politicians who only represent themselves, and the crooked interests that bought them. Don't ever mistake this for governing folks. This is tyrannical rulership that is only accountable to itself and nobody else.

The Chinese do not have to release 3rd party audited financial statements to be listed on the NY Stock Exchange. As a result, their financial statements are nothing but lies. The reason the Chinese get away with it is they bribe the people necessary to get away with it. The Chinese should obviously be required to abide by the same rules as American companies listing on the exchanges, amazing that even has to be said.

I want to know the names of all the officials that are against President Trump's executive order to stop investing in chinese military companies.... in a movie long ago... a mafia figure said..." some people hurt more when you attack their money source"... I think WE have a case of this phenomenon now...

How about just "ANY Chinese company"? Works for me. I put back two items today when Christmas shopping when I discovered "Made in China" labels. I replaced one with "Made in USA" and the other with "Made in Vietnam"......not entirely satisfactory, but the Vietnamese hate China, too. I wish someone would start making clothing in the USA again. All the PJs were Chinese or Vietnamese made. I'd have paid more for USA made.

I bought a Chinese stock once simply because I liked the name, DANG. It actually made me 12% when I sold it. But okay, I'll stop.

It’s tough but we should all make a strong effort not buy anything made in China. Look at everything even food for country of origin. It will shock you and it’s not just cheap clothes but complicated, high-tech stuff. My CPap machine, my wife’s heart monitor....almost every electronic device in my house. Someone should post a comprehensive list of which American corporations are importing the most from China.
