The "Mark Trail" comic strip, created in 1946 by artist Ed Dodd, has been entertaining and educating readers for decades. The title character’s mission: preserving the American wilderness, waterways and wildlife for future generations of Americans. The comic strip is syndicated in 150 newspapers and online publications around the world. This year, the Mark Trail comic is getting a 21st century update by artist Jules Rivera.(Snip) Those cutting-edge updates for the 21st century include topics such as environmental racism and climate change. Rivera said "Mark Trail" will continue talking to the wildlife like in previous years, but her version will be very different.

I've read Mark Trail for many years. The new version is kind of weird.
It just changed one day without notice. I'm giving it a try.
No SJW preaching yet but it sounds it's coming soon.

Anyone want to start a betting pool on just how fast Mark Trail can go from being syndicated in 150 newspapers and online publications to being syndicated in 5 newspapers and online publications?!?!?!?

More cultural vandalism. Do whatever. Don't expect us to pay for it, or pay attention to it, though.

...because if there's anyone who can take a traditional comic dedicated to "preserving the American wilderness, waterways and wildlife for future generations of Americans" it's a female SJW artist from New York City.

Leave it to the intellectually vacuous SJW's to destroy something somebody else created, simply because they have no ability to create on their own. People like this leftist artist are parasites on the creative culture of our nation, ruining and attacking everything people have enjoyed for decades.

Environmental racism? Is that where you make fun of where minorities live? Or is it where you hate certain colors of the skies or trees ? I need to catch up with these losers and their own strain of igPay atinLay.

He'd been drawn as a manly man for years, but the new Latinx artist draws him as a lumberjack-variety homosexual. Who knows what new adventures he might encounter deep in the woods? Every positive role model must be redefined.

From Monty Python - the Lumberjack song - currently still un-PC on Youtube...
I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay.
I sleep all night and I work all day.
I cut down trees. I eat my lunch.
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shopping
And have buttered scones for tea.
He's a lumberjack, and he's okay.
I cut down trees. I skip and jump.
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing
And hang around in bars.
He's a lumberjack, and he's okay.
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

When the internet appeared I stopped reading stuff printed on dead trees. Didn't realize that comics were still around.
