John Roberts, by foolishly allowing--on a 4-4 decision--the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to unconstitutionally rewrite Pennsylvania's election laws, has managed to maneuver the SCOTUS into a damned if you do, damned if you don't position. Half the states, with Texas at their head, are now calling the SCOTUS to account. No matter what the SCOTUS does at this point one half of the country will be angry and will claim they were cheated. While not everyone would have been happy had the SCOTUS dealt with the illegalities before the election, the Court would at least have had a better chance of convincing the nation that they were acting on constitutional principle.

Roberts is a Bush boy. The Bushes hate Trump, so is it any wonder that Roberts does anything he can to hurt Trump while trying to give the appearance of judicial impartiality, the prestige of the SC be damned.

It's more than that. Maybe the Left has something on him. Not necessarily a conspiracy theory but something little at first and then another something , then knee deep in swamp :(. Stuck there.

I suspect that with little experience of big city electoral politics that Roberts never expected the level of fraud he allowed. Now he is a bind and he ought to do the right thing and undo his previous mistake but he probably will not.

Roberts really messed this up. Clearly, he was trying to avoid what he is now facing. Pure speculation on my part, but I cannot help but wonder if someone earlier put a bug in his ear and told him no worries, we’ve got this. No way that Trump wins. Biden is locked in. Then the democrats’ worst nightmare happens, Trump is heading for a massive landslide and democrats scramble to steal the votes needed to prevent it. In their surprise and frazzled haste, they become sloppy and the theft is discovered which brings us here. We are knocking on the door to the SCOTUS demanding that they, in all their wisdom, make the very decision Roberts tried to avoid previously. Life is nothing if not ironic.
My fear is that some on the Court will not follow the Constitution but will make a decision based upon personal political bias and what they believe is “good for the country” which in reality would be the very worst thing. The country can weather an angry democrat party but what it cannot survive is a decision based upon anything other than the rule of law. It is not hyperbole to say that the fate of this country to go forward as a Representative Republic depends upon the decision of nine individuals. They will either tether the country firmly to he Constitution or it will be cut loose to drift into dark uncharted waters. Courage, integrity, and loyalty to the Constitution must be their sole motivation.

# 3 - I read just a few lines of this somewhere online but it may explain why Roberts behaves so terribly and always has a smirky smile on his face. Rumor has it he was part of the Epstein island gang. Chances are he's voting the way he's told by the powers that be.

Exactly right, #8! Yes, we're really paying big-time for that 4-4 'decision'! I don't give a fig which half of the country is happy or sad, but PLEZE do what is constitutionally correct!!!

Roberts really screwed up. Because of this Pennsylvania is shoving it in everyone's face. Now that we have 5 justices that will act appropriately in accordance with the constitution, it really does not matter what he does. If true about Epstein, then he should be removed because he is compromised.

John Roberts has a poorly controlled seizure disorder - epilepsy, as we used to call it. He has had two public, grand mal seizures that I am aware of, since he became chief Judas.
Epilepsy specialists rely on a variety of medications - a drug cocktail, if you will, to control the seizures. It is more of an art than a science, in a way, because of the tweaking of the medications, depending on the patient.
I learned a lot about the condition when I hired a housekeeper who had epilepsy. She was honest about her condition, and explained the medication process to me. And I learned more about the medications when one of them was given to me for neuropathy. It made me goofier than usual.
John Roberts should not have a driver's license because of his medical condition, and the powerful drugs he has to take in an attempt to control the seizures.
He should not have been confirmed as Chief Judas. The Americans With Disabilities Act should not apply to him.
After he twisted his legal reasoning in the Obolacare cases, it demonstrated his lack of judicial sensibility..

Criminality rots the brain and robs one of intelligent thought processes. Criminals seem to focus too much on the end game. There's a whole lot of truth in every post here thus far.

Roberts constantly makes the wrong decisions. Bad decisions lead toad consequences. Over half the country didn't want Obambicareless. Roberts for d a way, with a very bad decision, to force something on the nation that over half didn't want. And we, not Roberts and his other like organ grinders' monkeys, have paid the price since. Now Roberts has decided that the State's Supreme Court is now the law of the land and ultimate decision maker as to 'law'. Once again, a very bad decision with now country wreaking consequences. Roberts is very much like Fauci, wrong, wrong and wrong. Both are unaccountable and safe from firing.

Whenever the Bushies appointed a supreme court justice, we have a 50/50 chance of getting a huge disappointment...as in Justice Souter and now Chief Justice Roberts. Roberts is a joke and fits in beautifully with our modern DOJ, FBI, etc, etc, etc. Thank you, George and George and all the people who supported and loved you. You all have been made to look the fools.

No surprise....Juan Roberto is an old hand at rewriting the law and the Constitution from the bench. He’s a swampster of the first magnitude.....the last ditch line of defense of the Constitution has been permanently breached.

I agree with most of the Above Posters. That said, I know Republicans in this country have been sending Prayers to the Big Guy to Please be with those Five Justices who we're counting on to listen to the Litigators and then Rule according to the Constitution. If they do not do that, all is lost! If we can't depend on the Highest Court in our Land to uphold our Constitution, then there isn't any reason to HAVE a Constitution! We are a country of LAWS, but that matters little if those Laws are not upheld, especially by the Supreme Court. So, all eyes are upon the Supreme Court and what kind of decision they come up with. Millions of us KNOW what that decision should look like! Millions of us know that John Roberts has gone over to the Dark Side, but we still have hope that the other Five will vote to save our Country by not letting a Fraudulent Election Stand!

We can't even blame this foolish man on Obama. A number of states cheated in a national election and proof has been provided for each and every one of them. Pennsylvania cheats in every election conducted in the entire state and has for decades. Come on Roberts, you are single-handedly destroying respect for the Supreme Court. When half of the country can no longer trust our highest federal authorities, you have a huge problem on your hands that can't be fixed by your version of business as usual. We are patiently waiting out here with some very big brooms.

Rumor has been around a long time that Roberts is being blackmailed over the illegal adoption of his children from Ireland. I wish someone would find the truth and expose it to the world if they have proof.

It was not folly on Roberts' part. He knew exactly what he was doing. Whatever information Obama used to blackmail Roberts during the decision on "Obamacare" [whether it was the legally questionable adoption of his children, or his name on a list of people logged on a flight to Epstein's Island] it had the effect of keeping him bought once he was bought. Now he does nothing, relating to the political interests of the Left, other than what the Left asks of him. To give them the credit they are due, those who prepared this electoral Coup did so very carefully, and accounting for all sorts of post-election scenarios, and Roberts action was his doing his lot to corrupt the legal process that would lead to a clear accounting of votes.
John Roberts is a worthless human being.
