President Trump reportedly intends to pardon former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, one in a series to be issued before he leaves office.
Axios first reported the news Tuesday, citing two sources with direct knowledge. Sources with knowledge of the president’s thinking also told Fox News he plans to pardon Flynn.
Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 to misleading the FBI about his contact with Russia, and has came to symbolize for conservatives how Justice Department officials abused their power in the Russia investigation. Despite two guilty pleas from Flynn, the prosecution came under scrutiny after the release of FBI documents that indicated a plot to get Flynn to lie.

I don’t believe the General did anything illegal to necessitate a pardon. However it’ll free up time for Sydney do keep doing what she has been doing. The job the DoJ should be doing.

One of the black marks re: George Bush is his refusal to pardon Scooter Libby, even when the truth was out there. So GREAT re: Flynn!!!!!!!!! The man has been persecuted enough while NOBODY looks into Hunter and Joe! This country is being destroyed!

And, with notable exceptions, Fox News has hit the skids, which is why I watch Kelly, Dobbs and the OPINION people on the network but, after multi years, skip Special Report and NEVER went near Chris Wallace with a ten foot pole. Here's to Newsman et al.!

Bush's stubborn refusal to pardon Scooter Libby, even after all the facts had long been out, is one of the chief reasons I soured on this otherwise amiable man. Pardon Flynn!!!!!!! It is laughable that he has an ax over his head while Joe and Hunter go scott free.

This is disappointing because my understanding is a pardon removes his ability to sue the FBI.

First: Some Confidants!! Do people simply not know how to keep their mouths shut, anymore? If it was told in confidence, then their lips should be sealed!!
Second, Mary Trump is gushing over the idea that a pardon is as good as an admission of guilt. No, actually, Mary, the Pardon was to be used - originally as a way to mitigate political malfeasance in the judicial process. Little tin pot dictators (mostly Democrats, again) would regularly throw people in jail for political gain. The pardon allowed them to be rescued. Mary is a pinhead and obviously not someone you would want to associate with.
That said, I would agree with Mary that the Democrats have regularly used the Pardon to release people who could then financialy or politically benefit them, but that is an abuse of the power.

President Trump would be right to pardon Gen. Flynn. But that should not be the end of it.
The despicable legal technique to force him to "admit" a lie to the FBI that he did commit should be ended.
Using literally unlimited taxpayer money to force a citizen to bankrupt himself and impoverish his family or
confess to a charge was used not just against Gen. Flynn but has been used in many other instances. This abomination should not be inflicted on any citizen.
The government should make Gen. Flynn whole financially. Sure, we the taxpayers will have to foot the bill, but at lest it would be for a good cause.
If he is paid back, he had better cash the check ASAP. If Biden actually assumes office the US may go broke so quick the check bounces. (That might be funnier if it were a little further from the truth....)

Get it done, Sir. That Sullivan clown is a smug, Juan-Williams look-a-like and deserves about as much (or as little) respect.

This is from FOX, so it could be fake news. And Sullivan needs to get kicked in the behind to wrap things up so Gen Flynn can get on with suing the Fibbies, ObieMe and anybody else involved in his persecution.
