Is anyone else too old to start living on his knees? See, submission is not in the cards. The question is whether preserving our freedom means dissolving the Union. And though our alleged betters tell us we are not allowed to think about that horrible prospect, it’s the ruling caste itself that raised the question. When you get a vile clown like Chuck Schumer promising to “change America” if he steals another Georgia election in the coming run-off, it only reaffirms that we don’t want to “change America” – at least not into the Venezuela-lite he and his coterie of neo-Marxist bother-wedders, fake Indians, and buck-tooth morons want.

Alleluia! The United States of America is comprised of 50 sovereign states. The commie scum do not deserve any of them, not a one. I refuse to give up on California and leave her treasures and wonders to the destroyers. The Golden State is my birthright every bit as much as being an American citizen. I never thought of leaving the USA during the Obamanation, leaving California for a currently "safe" state is only delaying the inevitable should it come. Somewhere every patriot will have to take a stand and actively defy and fight the radical insurgency trying its best to be the ascendancy. I choose my birthright and I'll be buried here, one way or another. MAGA - Its for all 50 states or it ain't worth a damn.

This country can't even agree that we should have fair and honest elections. The cities are corrupt and now having drained their suburbs, come for the rest of the US. I'm not paying for a NYC subway system that allows fare beaters while their Mayor instructs their police to look the other way. I'm not paying to rebuild cities because the criminals are the good guys and the cops the bad guys. If the corruption in these cities can't be dealt with and I suspect they can't, we need a split. No taxation without representation!

I really think it is coming. I believe the MAGA people have been silent far too long. Kamala warned us, if we don't vote them in, we will see more of the same looting and rioting. It's just a matter of time this country will split or in reality, it's doing it now.

When your belief in a document and in G-d are mocked in the public marketplace of ideas by the so-called leaders, what common ground do you have? I don't foresee this ending in anything but a cold or hot civil war because the gulf between the two groups leaves no room for compromise. I wish and hope I'm wrong, but I'm glad that I'm "around the clubhouse turn and headed for home" because it's going to get nasty before we know how it's going to end and I'll be too old to help man the front lines. You either believe in G-d, or you're an atheist--to say you're spiritual or an agnostic I'm afraid means that you lack the courage to publicly say you don't believe in G-d. The Constitution was not designed to be an offensive weapon for the government, it was designed to be our offensive weapon against the government, hence, the Second Amendment (in case of emergency). By the way, the author's books are a fantastic read and worth every dollar.

Not sure that splitting into two countries would be a bad thing. Better than what we have now, given that the two sides are miles apart on just about everything. That being said, the blue states would collapse on themselves after just a few years.

I can imagine that this might happen de facto before it happens in any formal way. If the socialist totalitarians succeed in taking power, Americans who value individual freedom and the rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights will begin moving to states like Wyoming, Montana, South and North Dakota, Idaho, Utah, Nebraska, Kansas-- places that will almost certainly resist and defy federal moves to confiscate guns, for example, as a first step in stripping rights. We've seen how much power the states can wield to defy the federal government in all the Covid restrictions, riots, "sanctuary" states and cities, and the election. The states I've named carve out a more or less contiguous chunk of the western middle of the continent. (I didn't include Texas, though it makes for a good north-south completeness because-- I'm sorry Texans-- genuinely so-- but too many former Cali libs and legal and illegal immigrants have changed the political complexion of the state. It just is not the bastion it was even 10 years ago.) Over the next 8 years or so, these states will be in entrenched defiance of the socialist totalitarians, populated by patriots who would die to protect their freedom. For one thing, they will cease paying federal income taxes. They will take part in state-wide elections, and shun national elections. They will be in de facto separation from the federal government. What happens, ultimately? I think something like what happened in 1860. If federal troops were ordered into, say, Wyoming soldiers from Wyoming would need to choose between their loyalty to their state or the federal government. The US would look like other countries with separatist movements. Yes, violence. But it might be settled and formalised relatively quickly with the creation of separate nations. But no one knows what will happen. All we really know is that leftist totalitarians have made their big move to take over the USA. What happens next is anyone's guess.

COVID has already showed the fissures. When (not if) the SCOTUS rules Roe v Wade unconstitutional and returns abortion to the fifty states, this division will be more apparent. Everything, business climate, gas prices, health care, education, culture, individual liberties will begin to appear different. The people will make their own choice.

For quite a while I've been saying we need to split the country. We could have a 'civil' civil war. In one country would be all the normal, decent, hard-working, patriotic, God fearing Americans and in the other would be all the democrats.

Thanks to #2 for standing up for ALL 50 States. It's easy (and tempting!) to say it's time to split up red and blue. But those who advocate for that, whether casually or seriously, should look again at maps of the USA that show how counties vote. This is a red country. And how would a separation be enforced?? Look at what's happening in Texas (and other red states) where liberals are flooding in to escape the hell they are responsible for voting in. Would we build domes over states, impervious to entry by walking, driving or flying in?

America historically has always been ready to split apart, certainly before The Great War. What we lack today is a core to rally around. Until 1990 it was anarchists, Bolsheviks, the Soviet Union...Evil Red Communism...not anymore, although there are plenty trading on Russia as our enemy. We had a common draft that influenced young men from all walks of life in a common view of America. We had a patriotic public, flush with victory over Nazism, Fascism and Imperialism, with a booming economy. We also had "fake news", like the so-called missile gap and Quemoy-Matsu crises. And, until it boomaranged, we had our fight against Communism in Asia, stopping the Yellow Peril and Red Communism. Today? What? Iran, a lightweight regional power? Russia, run by oligarchs profiteering? China, conquering the world with cheap labor? Globalism, that eventual kumbaya utopian world where all mankind lives in peace? Imagine...

We are already divorcing. We don't watch the same tv, same movies, kids are in private schools are schooled at home. The country is more segregated than ever, despite all the integration the left has said they are for. People may live next door, but we are not together. The left runs and ruins everything. One of the first big shots that the leftist and liberal Democrats will aim at America if Biden is elected, is to impose a huge new gun tax on law abiding gun owners who the Democrats know are mostly people who live outside the Democrat big cities and States. The Democrats know that a large percentage of those law abiding gun owners who own the specific semiautomatic rifles that the Democrats are initially targeting to tax are conservatives, with most being Trump supporters, who will resist paying such taxes big-time. The real object of the Democrats imposing such a tax is to turn as many of those currently law abiding gun owners as possible into felons, so that they will loose both their future ability to ever own a firearm again, and more importantly to the Democrats to take away those conservatives (deplorables) future voting rights. Remember the last time the Democrats went all out to impose new gun control laws on law abiding Americans that they lost control of the Congress in the next election. So with the Democrat’s diminished presence in the House of Representatives and if the Republicans keep control of the Senate it could be very hard for the Democrats to pass such a tax through Congress. That’s not to say that Biden might not try to impose such a tax through an executive order. If successful the Democrats will then move on to either tax all firearms or/and try to use various future schemes to confiscate all firearms. The Democrats say they must move ahead in those areas to stop raising gun violence, but common sense will tell you that criminals and intending terrorists are not going to obey such tax laws and will continue to go creating havoc in the Democrat run big cities.

We can't run from them, we can't really live with them. They don't deserve one inch of this nation. Either we enforce the Constitution by applying the appropriate punishment for crime and treason or we don't. IF we don't, all of it is over. Don't kid yourself. Some rats need the ultimate punishment for the treason that is happening minute by minute right now. Others need to pay for crimes that have been avoided for decades, because some people would riot more. Too bad. We are the USA or we are a bunch of losers like too much of the rest of the world. IF our courts and government fail us, it seems like that is the required moment to actually do something, like form a citizens court to replace the corrupt courts. I don't see that happening until everyone understands their very lives are on the line and a lot more collapse of the country has to occur before the reality sets in. Until the media tells the truth, the tyrants have the power of illusion over millions. I don't see how that basic problem is solved. I can imagine an overnight solution, but this country can't conceive of that kind of action. At least for the moment.

No longer can that term harken back to the 1776 meaning, as most modern day Patriots have resorted to looking for someone else (e.g., Donald Trump) to step up and somehow pull the imaginary levers that would preserve our Republic and Constitution. I guess the 1776 version is too messy or too inconvenient, given that many modern day Patriots still can't give up their Tucker habit on Fox, the network in the vanguard of conservative American disenfranchisement. There are still patriotic individuals who would rather wage a bloody war than willingly cede a single American city or state to home-grown communists and their imported comrades; however, those Americans appear to be part of a shrinking minority. Given the lack of collective Patriot action against a government coup that has unfolded in plain sight over the last 4 years, culminating in a stolen national election, a negotiated split may be the only way that any form of a free United States may be preserved. Perhaps the progressives turned out to be better 4-D chess players than we thought.

We left CA Bay Area for Idaho 3 months ago after living in CA since 5 months old. We couldn't stand the taxes, the cost of living, and finally Gov. Grusome's tyranny and local health dept. edicts such as you can't go to the beach or even park along the side of the road at the beach (red cones all along Bodega Bay for miles and miles so you couldn't pull over to look at the ocean). You couldn't go to the parks by car. You could walk or ride a bike. And the picnic tables were turned over so you couldn't picnic. The bathrooms, when the parks were eventually opened after months of closure, were not opened. On and on these rules went. Petty rules, nasty mean rules, rules that had no common sense. And that's why we left California!

Not by states. State boundaries are largely meaningless. The US is now regional. The split is between the coastal marxist cities & their environs and the non-coastal areas that the liberals despise. Take New York State, for example. New York City, the Hudson Valley, and the east end of Long Island are socialist. The remainder of the state is quite conservative. Take Colorado. Denver and Boulder are Socialist. The vast majority of the state is solid red. eh same is true of almost every state. The socialist cities need to form their own independent city-states and leave Free America alone The coastal socialist cities need to be kicked out of the US.

We can't split the baby as it is too painful for either half to survive. No, the Left is a huge cancerous tumor that has infiltrated the body politic and must be slowly & carefully cut out and shrunk by radiation or chemo-therapy. Our only true hope is to Resist! As painful as it may become, we need to cut off those who are friends & yes, even family who support the far Left agenda. Slowly strangle the Left ... like an anaconda or boa constrictor ... refuse to help them in any way. Drag your feet at every opportunity. Go underground and undermine them by switching off their revenue sources. Cancel magazine, newspaper, cable subscriptions, movies, etc. that support them. Find alternatives to everything they support. Fight back in any way but don't silently drown!

The split really started in 1954 with Brown versus Board of Education, then during the 1960s, Vietnam came into the mix, then on January 22, 1970, Roe versus Wade became the third major national trauma. Unity ended and we have been a nation of mutually hostile factions. Considering the nature of those three issues, I think it may be centuries, if ever, before the United States becomes one people again.

The suspects were identified as James Franklin, 27, of Roanoke, and Alan Douglas Mould, 26, of Lynchburg. Both men were charged with breaking and entering and assault and battery, Roanoke FOX station WFXR-TV reported. Police officers in Lynchburg responded around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a burglary in progress, the station reported. The suspects allegedly knocked on the door of the residence and then assaulted the resident when he opened the door but the resident responded by shooting both suspects, police told the FOX station.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

Just in case you thought that all of the elections aside from the Georgia runoffs were behind us, well… they’re not. The counting is still going on in some of the congressional races and one of the tightest ones is in New York’s 22nd district. There, Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisis is locked in a recount with Republican Claudia Tenney, who previously held the seat before him. The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life.
