Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on Tuesday defended his reputation Tuesday, insisting that he did nothing wrong and his termination for misleading investigators was unjust. Earlier this year, the Justice Department declined to pursue criminal charges against Mr. McCabe for allegedly lying to investigators about his authorization of media disclosures. The criminal referral was made by the Justice Department Inspector General, who in 2018 released a report concluding that Mr. McCabe “lacked candor” with investigators. After the report was released, Mr. McCabe was fired by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Mr. McCabe has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the FBI

Justice will have to be of the frontier variety, for the lot of them.

Right on #1 but until law enforcement does their job to take care of it, no sense in wasting time watching a useless hearing.

I listened to parts of McCabe's testimony. It was very interesting to hear McCabe blame a bad IG report for his firing (which he is fighting) on the one hand then praise the IG report for it's findings when it agreed with, or didn't make him look bad. Overall, McCabe seemed to assume no responsibility at all for anything that happened under his watch.

What would you expect McCabe to say? Remember he could certainly end up being indicted before long.

His denial is one more reason to refuse him access to our nation's top law enforcement agency. He's delusional as well as being criminal. Enjoy your bunk time with Pete Strzok, Andy.

Defending his reputation? His reputation is a corrupt FBI agent. Is that what he's defending? This guy should be in prison.

Well, he may never get the 'thee hots and a cot' that he so richly deserves, but at least Sessions fired him, and cut off his nice Federal pension.

After I pressed the 'Submit' button, it popped into my head that what I would love to hear is a Judge telling McCabe
the line from the old Monopoly' game:
Go To Jail.
Go DIRECTLY To Jail.
Do Not Pass Go.
Do Not Collect $200.

If he and AOC ever hooked up, they would be unbearable. Some people just aggravate you to the point of violence. No wonder they want to take your guns.
