It was back to the basement for Joe Biden Saturday — as President Trump went into campaign overdrive. With only 16 days to go before Election Day, amid an uproar over The Post’s expose of son Hunter’s shady foreign business deals and with a second debate face-off this week, Biden retreated to his Delaware home with no public events on his schedule — and a substantial but slightly slipping national polling lead in his pocket.Meanwhile, the underdog president whipped up his troops Saturday at back-to-back rallies in two crucial battleground states, with two more of the raucous gatherings set for Sunday and a full slate of appearances this week that

Participants brought signs with various sayings written on them such as “We Are Not Ovary-Acting” to the Women’s March in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. One marcher wearing a Biden/Harris shirt held a sign that read “Pussy Power,” while another sign read “GOP Hates Democracy.”Another participant held a sign reading, “If I wanted a Republican in my vagina, I’d sleep with one! Pro-Choice Pro-Freedom.”In what appeared to be a reference to Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Catholic faith, one marcher brought a sign with the words “Keep Your Rosaries Off My Ovaries” written on it.

Public concern about higher education is clearly widespread. The causes are many: ugly treatment of visiting speakers, a stifling political uniformity resulting in ideological extremism and hatred, and fringe radical ideas seeping out of the campuses into the wider world. Less publicly visible are numerous recent studies that tell us how little most recent graduates have benefited from higher education. They record astonishing deficiencies in reasoning, writing, reading, basic knowledge, and civics. But with all this, the public is still uncertain. Most see the symptoms but don’t quite know what to make of them, and so continue to send their children to college. Because they don’t have a firm grasp

Two of the hosts of the ABC talk show “The View” admitted this week that they believe President Donald Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis was fake.Their admission came Thursday, a day after tech giants Facebook and Twitter began suppressing an unconfirmed story about Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s youngest son, Hunter, that media pundits had claimed was a “conspiracy theory.” The first admission was made by co-host Whoopi Goldberg as she was responding to a fellow co-host’s complaints that the idea of herd immunity — which is currently being considered by the White House — “seems cruel, seems callous.”“It doesn’t look good anywhere,” Goldberg responded before suddenly trotting out

President Trump denounced the media’s assertion that he would not agree to a transition of power if he lost re-election.While speaking at a seniors event in Florida Friday, the President touched on Thursday night’s town hall, where he was asked about conceding the election if he lost the race legitimately. The President then responded “of course” in agreement to a friendly power transition.President Trump has previously brushed off the question by saying the only way he could lose is if the election was rigged by Democrats. He then pointed out that when the Obama administration transferred power to him in 2016, they investigated his campaign.

A small group of medical experts from around the country are speaking out against misinformation on the coronavirus. The doctors gathered on the Supreme Court steps in the nation’s capitol Saturday morning to inform Americans not to be afraid of the virus. These doctors argued masks do not help curb the spread of the virus. In fact, they said the masks are socially divisive and pose a threat to civil liberties as well as national security. (Tweet/Video) However, they assert doctors in America are capable of treating COVID-19 and early treatment is key.

The media think you are stupid. That’s probably not a revelation, but it’s being make especially apparent over the last few days following the bombshell release of Hunter Biden’s emails.Things have progressed quickly since the New York Post dropped it’s first report showing that Hunter Biden had used his influence to setup a meeting between his father and a Burisma associate. That company was, of course, paying Hunter $50,000+ a month to peddle influence, as has been confirmed by language in the aforementioned emails. But the matter got far more serious for Joe Biden last night when another email was confirmed real by a participant in the chain. That email showed

This is the story of an American patriot, an honorable man, John Paul Mac Issac, who tried to do the right thing and is now being unfairly and maliciously slandered as an agent of foreign intelligence, specifically Russia.John Paul Mac Issac is not an agent or spy for anyone. He is his own man. How do I know? I have known his dad for more than 20 years. I’ve known John Paul’s dad as Mac. Mac is a decorated Vietnam Veteran, who flew gunships in Vietnam. And he continued his military service with an impeccable record until he retired as an Air Force Colonel.

All eyes are turning to NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker as she prepares to host the third and final presidential debate Thursday.President Trump and Joe Biden will square off at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., in a 90-minute debate starting at 9 p.m.Welker, 44, has been the White House correspondent at NBC News since 2011, after working as a news reporter in Rhode Island. But Trump supporters who took issue with hard questioning by previous moderators like Chris Wallace and Savannah Guthrie may find themselves pining for those combative hosts after Welker is done with the president.
