During Tuesday's confirmation hearings, Senator Dianne Feinstein tried to rattle Amy Coney Barrett , and it failed miserably. Feinstein tried to get the SCOTUS nominee to spout off political opinions about different issues, but it was met with a brick wall of common sense and rationality. "If I give off-the-cuff answers then I would be basically a legal pundit and I do not think we want judges to be legal pundit. I think we want judges to approach cases thoughtfully and with an open mind," Barrett responded. Watch below:

Looks like Feinstein's gotcha questions are ending up to be exploding cigars. Feinstien will revert to the tried and true last minute allegation of some sexual deviance. Probably accuse Barrett of being an incestuous lesbian pedophile. Oh wait, that's Lena Dunham,. She is a well known and big time Feinstein donor so have to back off that one.

ACB is showing she's bright, articulate, and nothing like what the Progressives have tried to say about her.

I didn’t think i could be more impressed with ACB than I already was, but I am in awe. What a treasure!

It's a unfair fight! Flyweight Feinstein, reading her staff's questions, is trying to trap Heavyweight, Amy. Feinstein should wave a white flag to stop the bloodbath.

It is painfully obvious that the Judge is far far smarter than Feinstein. She will not be falling for any of her political bs.

You can’t expect any integrity or honesty from dems, but the criticism I have is why she wasn’t the first one on Trumps list of candidates.

Reminds me of the old line: In a battle of wits, Sen Feinstein comes unarmed.

Amy Coney Barrett could put on big fluffy bunny slippers and still kick any of the Democrat Senators’ collective butts. She is an outstanding individual!

If this witch goes to a doctor with a problem does she expect him to conduct tests before operating to see what the problem is? California continues to embarrass itself.

Feinstein has failed at everything since (and including) when she was co-starring with Schumer in the anti-gun circus clown act
and at the same time trying to explain why she "had to have a concealed carry permit because her husband was
in the hospital and she had to walk across the parking lot at night" at a time when permits were at the pleasure
of the local police chief. She had one of only 5 in the city of San Francisco, if memory serves...
Howling two-faced hypocrisy at which still shows up every times she makes a public appearance.

ACB gave perfect answers which made DiFi look silly as she kept asking the same questions in different ways and kept getting the same answers. At least DiFi was respectful. Others were downright rude and looked like complete idiot with their accusations regarding ACB's responses when they did not agree. Some like Coons put words in her mouth and looked even more foolish by her cool, clear responses. Coons just would not give it up and ended up looking like an idiot who did not know what he was talking about. I also LOVED when she told Senators in response to questions about the upcoming Obamacare case that their sky is falling claims were not being covered in the lawsuit being considered by the Supreme Court.

ChiFi Feinstein repeatedly requested rulings from the bench. In every instance she was refused. The Canons of Judicial Ethics will disqualify Barrett from any case on which she expresses an opinion. Period.
So, no opinions. No hints. No breadcrumbs. There is a Wall of Separation between Barrett and telling us how she would vote. She has solemnly sworn to carefully hear any case which comes before her, consider the law, and rule accordingly.
This is not enough for Harris, Kloubichar, Coons, Booker, or any other clown on the Judiciary Committee. They want Ginsberg, the advocate.
They want nothing to do with written law. They want another wise latina woman.

You don't get into the position that ACB is in by getting rattled by questions. I'm sure she's experienced strange questions in the past from people far smarter than Feinstein.

Her younger children, for example.

Feinstein is 87 years old. Her hair is dyed too too too black, which enhances her wrinkly white pallor.
Pelosi is 80.

That bugs me about her too, #23. Does she think she’s actually fooling anyone about her age? I’m 67 and have a full head of silver-white hair which I love. No one ever taught DiChicomFi about the importance of aging gracefully

DiFi is lucky to command about half of the brains that Judge Barrett brings to the discussion.
No contest at all.

#7 asks, "the criticism I have is why she wasn’t the first one on Trumps list of candidates."
Trump nominated her in 2017 for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Back then, ACB scared the dems because she might later become a SCOTUS nominee. But the President couldn't very well nominate a young 45-year-old attorney and law school professor to the Supreme Court without giving her a chance to prove her acumen as a judge on a Federal Circuit Court. Now, having written opinions for the 7th Circuit, she has an established record as a jurist, and has proven her capacity to sit on the Supreme Court. Not much the dems can use to attack her at this point, but they'll keep trying.
