Mark Cuban has condemned human rights violations, but defended doing business with China, saying 'we have to pick our battles'. The billionaire Dallas Mavericks owner appeared on former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly's new podcast The Megyn Kelly Show for an hour-long episode that aired on Monday to discuss the NBA Finals, foreign business deals and the Black Lives Matter movement, among several other topics. At one point during the heated conversation, Kelly referenced the NBA's dealings with China, a market that is reportedly worth $4 billion to the league, and pointed out the country's controversial history of human rights violations.
Do not get between Cuban and money.

Once you decide that human suffering is negotiable, you will find yourself doing anything, for the right price.

Cuban is correct. We pick our battles. We pick the nba as our battle front and we intend to destroy his bread and butter earnings. There is always shark tank for this cretin.

Cuban is the kind of guy who would sell out his grandmother if it meant another buck in his pocket. He is an exploiter of anyone or anything that will enhance his bank account. He has no loyalty to the country that enables him to create the kind of wealth most of can only dream of. He may have lots of. Only, but he is sorely lacking in respect. I do not respect anyone who can be bought by communist China especially after what they have done with this virus. China should be condemned by the world.

Cubicle, just move to China then. Enjoy the human right abuses. And learn how to say, "I am a useful idiot" in Chinese.

Funny, ain’t it? You make billions and award yourself one of the most exclusive luxuries there is, with all the perks to flaunt with you Uber wealthy compadres and acquaintances, let’s face it-people don’t find you insightful without the billions. But you don’t control the fruits of your capitalist success. The players union and black lives matter have to be consulted on how you operate your business. And black lives matter gets its marching orders from..., well let’s skip that. And the bulk of your revenue comes from corporate boxes and tv revenue, so ABC/ESPN/the telecom monopolies foreign and domestic that are pieces of news agencies that are parts of globalist conglomerates .......
And then there is Nike with factories in China paying next to nothing in labor marketing to the ABC and ESPN watchers to buy said overpriced shoes and shirts and telling us that paying millions to black athletes who can’t read is systemic racism.
So no, Mr. Cuban, they are not the customer. You spent millions, your toy is worth billions and you are owned.

Mark Quisling-Valerian thinks the Chicoms will return loyalty to him. He's getting money now for his loyalty to them. He'll receive a golden bullet in the head when he's finished helping them serve their purposes. Same as it ever was.

Cuban proves "You don't need to be smart to be rich." He's said some incredibly ignorant things on Hannity. Incredibly BS!!!!!!!! in praise of Joe Biden. His worst was "Biden would be better for the economy than President Trump,"

That's the problem in a nutshell, isn't it. "I'm all for social justice causes as long as it doesn't cost me anything". This type of mentality is full of rank hypocrisy--big on virtue-signaling and very, very short on actual virtue.

This is what happens when you worship money. NBA is getting a case of wokeness pushback and Cuban blames Trump! He is a nut job! These sports stars, managers, and owners are like Hollywood actors. They can’t just entertain. They need to be the story. Narcissism at its finest.

Let's consider China's human rights violations for a moment-- which, apparently for Cuban, have not reached the level where he has to "pick a battle."
*China has locked millions of Uighurs in prison camps. They invaded Tibet and imprisoned and executed unknown numbers of Tibetans, who are prisoners in their own country.
*Chinese citizens are surveilled constantly, especially in their internet use, and they are given numerical ratings indicating their acceptability to the Chinese Communist Party. If someone's score dips, that person simply disappears.
*China ranks 100 among 144 countries for gender parity. Try demonstrating for women's rights in China. Let's see what happens to you. Ditto human rights.
* Somewhere between 500,000 and a million Chinese are imprisoned without trial or access to legal representation. Re-education through labor (RTL) is one of the CCP's main methods of dealing with protestors and everyone else who might stir up any kind of trouble. If one is not "re-educated," the remedy is execution. China refuses to release execution statistics.
*China is the foremost polluter of the environment, unchecked by the kinds of regulations imposed by the US, for instance. China has the second highest deaths from air pollution, behind India.
This kind of list of Chinese travesties could go on almost indefinitely. To translate Mark Cuban's weasel words, "China is an abomination of cruelties, prejudices, and injustices. But, hey, they pay me big bucks, know m'sayin? Moolah, scratch, palm grease! It's the only thing that matters to me and my boys."

The US has a long history of doing business with despots. How about all that Saudi and Iranian oil we bought from the Princes and Shah over the years? And let's talk about the commodity deals with the Soviets. No, those we NOT different.
The US has allowed itself to be sucked into the Human Rights as basis for foreign policy vortex since Carter in '76. That's the real "leftist" aspect. It doesn't allow for "Real Politik" relations but puts foreign policy at the mercy of causes, activists and propagandists.

I have spent extra time looking at labels and buying only American....it is my way of protecting America's market....there is no doubt that the chicoms tried to deflate our economy... it was part of a plan to drive America to our knees.... but.... President Trump being the business man he is turned that around on them and WE are coming back... not completely... but WE're on our way...

Going from memory regarding his investments that made him a billionaire, he heavily invested in things like theater chains, which pretty much took a huge hit thanks to the lockdowns from covid. So I suspect he is going after anything that looks like it might refill his quickly emptying coffers.

Considering the kind of movies Hollywood insists on making and the usual negatives with a packed theater, who is going to go to movies for $20 a ticket? If that was a big chunk of cuban's portfolio, too bad. The NBA was losing appeal anyway with thugs like James doing what he does. Then they decided to lecture us. Will they come back? Why? After people can leave their homes, why watch black players play games that mean nothing to more and more people? Again, if that is a big part of cuban's fortune, its plunge in value could not happen to a more deserving creep.
