It seems that each day comes with another well known conservative prognosticator imbibing "doom" shots with "gloom" chasers before breakfast. "Trump is toast." "He's losing by double digits in the polls." "He's got only himself to blame." Quick: Were those 2016 or 2020 opinion ledes? Trick question: The same people who gave up in 2016 faster than Bill Kristol discovered his inner socialist are already in double-time retreat (snip) I think Trump voters are no longer willing to help pollsters figure out how to manipulate them next.
Add in people, like me, that won't answer the phone unless it's from a number I know, and the polls will be skewed. If they were ever balanced in the first place...

When a pollster calls me, I always tell them I am voting for the harris/biden ticket. I always get a than you for your support. But never a correction to the harris/biden bit.

Won't play the pollster game. Besides, you don't know who really is calling you!

Happily, I bought a new phone about a year ago, and it came with this handy feature: If you're not in my directory, the phone doesn't even ring. Haven't heard the voice of a pollster or other crook since.

In one of the Harry Potter books, someone is asked how it felt to fall under the imperius curse, by which they had been compelled to lie torture and kill, how did it feel to be forced to do the bidding of another? the answer was, it felt like a pink cloud of bliss. And there you have the Democrats. They are being flattered and petted and feted while they lie, torture, betray and promote infanticide. it feels GREAT. (spoiler: this type of bliss does not last)

I’ve always stated on this forum that I’ve never been polled but if I were, I would lie just to mess with the demonrats.

These phony polls are worthless as evidence of voters' intentions. The best evidence is Biden's miniscule turn out at his speeches, compared to President Trump's massive crowds where ever he travels. Pay attention to the size of the President's turn out. Far more Trump supporters were cheering at the President's impromptu drive-by at Walter Reed (military hospital) than the TOTAL number of Biden fans at ALL of his speeches. The Biden turn out in Miami and Gettysburg was miniscule. In Gettysburg there were hundreds of Trump supporters and a tiny cluster of Biden supporters, The media always goes out of its way to NOT show Biden's tiny turn outs.

I answered one poll (from CNN) in 2016, and lied, then refused to tell them my age, income or how many people were living in my house. I don't know if they used my info or not. I'm not inclined to talk to a pollster again, but I do have a Trump/Pence flag that is going out today once I finish my errands and can guard it.

We received 2 calls last night on our cable connected TV indicating that they were from an 800 number and were for a survey. I have a very faint memory of having a "land-line" packaged with basic services and internet years ago. [We have no clue what number we might use to call our TV.] That being said, we would never disclose our political preferences to any stranger for fear of being canceled or worse. That is not being SHY, that is being prudent.

Polls are useless. I don't answer the phone if it is a number I do not recognize.
I support Trump. But I don't want that known, as I like my house just the way it is. So no campaign signs outside or American Flag. Antifa and BLM do not take kindly to Trump posters or American flags. My vote is secret and I want it to stay that way.

I have no intention of telling some ex-Acorn employee out of New Orleans (who probably knows my address) how I plan to vote! Not shy, just wise.

Pollsters call me in California, but I sometines make them laugh because they ask me if I would vote for Democrat #1 or Democrat #2? Or which one's quotes I agree with most. I tell them I don't care for either and have no choice. At the end they ask my party affiliation. I tell them that they must know by now. I guess it doesn't matter anyway because the Registrar won't complete my registration nor send me my ballot anyway. I have been disenfranchised by the left.

Trust me, any person that wants to totally destroy this country by voting for these Marxist Democrats can rot in hell. Too many of my ancestors fought and died defending our freedom and I refuse to hand my grandchildren's future over to the likes of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
