MSTM inadvertently declare
Trump the winner last night --
by urging Biden to boycott
next 2 scheduled debates

It’s crystal clear that the media branch of the Democrat party thinks that Joe Biden blew it last night and damaged his electoral prospects in the first of 3 scheduled debates with President Trump. There seems to be pretty widespread consensus on the left that when it comes to Biden, the less voters know about him by watching him in a presidential spotlight, the better. (snip) "This is a disgrace, a low point in American debate history. There is no reason, not one, that Joe Biden should participate in another debate," MSNBC host Joe Scarborough tweeted.

The debate was a mess. Both were annoying. Bidens over the top unaddressed leftist talking points were the worst. Trump was better in the past talking at rallies he needs to adopt that better going forward. Change the format. Seems questions r meant to fire things up but they were badly framed. Answer, response, and rebuttals is a better format than free for all.

Biden had nothing. One talking point after another, the most Fake News ever. No plan, no past results, just MSM endlessly. Not a debate, just hot air.

Chris Wallace was horrible. He was like the proverbial "lion tamer" who kept pushing his questions into their faces until he got an angry response and then would crack his whip to show he was in control. It was clearly 2 against 1 as Chris was hardly impartial, and actively debated the President.

I really hate to agree with Joe Scarborough about anything, but I don't want to watch another debate either. I turned off Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity for talking over people. I can't stand to hear two voices going at the same time. I don't care if you are disrespectful when it is your turn to talk....just let me listen to both of you. Several times last night Joe was about to hang himself and provide a great sound bite for the Trump campaign, but Trump barged in and interrupted him. We all know how we are going to vote...just vote and be done with it!

The "no more debates" crowd understand that: 1. It took a real physical toll on Biden to get his body clock adjusted. 2. Biden did not change any votes; looked weak and frail; 3. At any moment Biden could become a gaff machine, and. 4. Biden's downside risks far outweighs all potential benefit.

I didn’t really think Trump was annoying. At least he didn’t call Biden a ‘clown’ or tell him to shut up. This went exactly like you would expect it to and I don’t understand why anyone is surprised by it. Biden lied about just about everything and Wallace let him. Trump made his points and ran circles around Biden and Wallace. It was two on one.

The moderator should ask the question and then shut up. The mic should be turned off for the candidate not answering the question. The format should be, same question to each. Then specific question to each with response by the other candidate. No arguing back and forth.

Presidential debates need less,

Utterly predictably, the Commission Presidential Debates, along with the grandees of the (progressive) mainstream media, has come to precisely the wrong conclusion on changes to the form of presidential debates, in the wake of Chris Wallace’s inept moderation of the first of three presidential debates. T"he Commission on Presidential Debates announced Wednesday that it would consider changes to the remaining debates, citing the need for 'structure' after Tuesday night's often chaotic affair was marked by repeated interruptions." (snip) A no-holds-bared debate, with the moderator’s role minimal, would far better help acquaint voters with the substance and character of each candidate. If one of them interrupts the other, so what?

With 24 hours having passed since the first presidential debate, it’s becoming clear that Trump won in a big way. It wasn’t an apparent victory, but it was a real one: He showed his base and ordinary Americans that he will always fight while forcing Biden to disavow both his hard-left base and the last of the old-fashioned Democrats who still support him Don’t pay too much attention to the pessimistic pundits. The worriers worried, the haters hated, the ambivalent were ambivalent, the cheerleaders cheered. Personality may not be destiny, but it determines post-debates reviews.

If I were a betting woman, I’d say that, over the next month, we’re going to see a steady drip, followed by an onrushing stream, of information about the corrupt origins and practices behind the Russia hoax. (snip) The CIA learned through intercepts that Russia believed Hillary planned to raise false claims against Trump, accusing him of dirty dealings with the Russians. Brennan took this information to Obama and other national security people. A month later, a letter went to the FBI telling them that they needed to look into Hillary’s alleged dirty dealings. So what did Comey and Strzok do? They went after Trump.
The debate? Trump was great,
Chris Wallace was a dreadful disgrace

Chris Wallace’s overt defense of Joe Biden throughout the debate on Tuesday night was so obvious, so blatant, he should be proscribed from ever “moderating” a debate again. Wallace’s performance was as Biden’s protector, his advocate, and that is undeniable. He stepped in at every moment Biden seemed lost: court-packing, lack of support of law enforcement, and Hunter’s criminality. The debate was so poorly managed. The questions were designed to aid Biden, to coddle him. No wonder Trump felt duty-bound to interrupt. Trump was debating both Wallace and Biden and only one of them is sentient.

The short version of the debate is that Biden did well if one ignored that almost every other statement he made was a lie or fantasy; Trump dominated him, almost too aggressively; and Chris Wallace may have been the worst and most obviously biased moderator since Candy Crowley. Most significantly, though, Biden and Trump each made a critical point. Biden’s was a tacit admission that, if he is elected president, he will preside over the end of the filibuster, allowing Democrats to pack the courts and add two new Democrat-majority states. Trump’s point was that he’s holding damning evidence about the Democrats’ coup attempt.

On the face of things, the July 2016 murder of Seth Rich had intrigue enough for a full season of House of Cards. (snip) To understand how a story this potentially explosive could be suppressed for so long, it is necessary to understand one basic fact of Washington life: Donald Trump received just 4.1 percent of the District's vote in the 2016 election. Trump's election disrupted short-term strategies and long-term expectations in every one of the capital's major institutions, local and federal, public and private, the legal community among them.

The New York Times is undoubtedly pleased that it published more than two decades’ worth of Donald Trump’s tax returns. The self-congratulations are premature. The Times’ article reveals that Trump was telling the truth all along about his audit. We can also see that Obama’s policies benefitted rich people. Finally, because the policies show how our complicated progressive tax system will always benefit rich people with good accountants, the Times unwittingly advanced the argument for a flat tax.

President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden went head-to-head on Tuesday night, and moderator Chris Wallace got knocked out. Wallace seemed to push left-wing talking points to help Trump and hurt Biden, but both candidates talked over him. Trump and Biden brought out the fisticuffs and both got in a few good hits. Biden stumbled but he did not come across as a bumbling fool. While Trump and Biden both went on the offensive, Trump got in more clear statements and Biden came across as shifty, especially on packing the Supreme Court.
