We need better medical elites.(Photo) Earlier on Monday CDC Director Dr. Redfield attacked Dr. Scott Atlas on a flight from Atlanta to Washington DC. Redfield was overheard by an employee of NBC News saying, “Everything he says is false.”Then on Monday afternoon quack NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci attacked Dr. Scott Atlas on CNN pushing inaccurate information. Both doctors have a record of crazy, twisted and ridiculous statements.

I am sure that Fauci is a fine doctor. However, Dr. Fauci's medical opinion is just one medical opinion. Dr. Redfield's responses have been so all over the place I don't know why anyone listens to him. How many times have people been told to get a second opinion. There a many doctors who are convinced that they and only they are capable of making the correct diagnosis. The media has annointed Fauci as that doctor as his medical opinions fit their narrative. Dr. Fauci may be good at what he does, he is not the only one who can do what he does. Like many other scientific professions, the same scientific information/data can yield many different conclusions. Everyone agrees that Covid can be dangerous. Dr's Fauci, Redfield, and Atlas just have different approaches as to how to respond to it. Fauci and Redfield want us to hide from it and stop living, Atlas wants us to learn to live with it. Life goes on. Which response would you like to live with?

I think Redfield has shown that he is nuts. Some of his comments are absolutely baloney.

Redfield seems more concerned about what others in his liberal "club" might think about him than what is, in fact, true.

Dr. Fauci has confirmed over and over, that Trump listened to his task force.
It's a group, not one individual.
Fauci has certainly learned how to "play the game" having been in public office for the past 40 years, how to say what the system wants to hear to ensure the funding continues, which allows for more travel junkets and boondoggles politicians get to attend.

It was the main job of Fauci and Redfield to have America ready for a pandemic (the CDC is, after all, all about disease control, prevention, and mitigation).
They blew it...in spectacularly public fashion, first by missing the advent of the CV19 pandemic altogether, and then by advising the country to use unproven protocols such as quarantining the healthy population (e.g., lockdowns), as well as the ridiculously ineffective mask charade. And throughout the entire pandemic episode, they have flipped and flopped so many times on so many issues, or given outright false advice (masks, HCQ, masks over vaccines, vaccines are the only answer, etc etc etc) that they should be arrested and sent to prison for grossly negligent, sheer incompetence.
Thank God that Trump had the wisdom to call in Dr. Atlas to serve as medical translator.

Just because Fauci has held his government position for so long doesn't bespeak his competence... quite the opposite.

Fauci was wrong in 1985 about AIDS, and he is wrong now. He is a career bureaucrat, not a physician. Last patient he saw was when he was a resident.

Fauci has been a government fixture for too long.
Redfield has more allegiance to the WHO and China.
As other Ldotters comment above, both of these Docs have made self-contradictory, confusing pronouncements, saying one thing one day, and something completely different the next. I watched every one of the Task Force sessions. I often had to LOL, although those were during some pretty grim days. And i must add, our HHS Sec. was all over the proverbial map, too, repeating what had been told to him. Confusion causes more problems that giving the people straight-out facts. Give us the facts... this would require the Dems to stop politicizing everything, especially this health crisis.
Dr. Atlas has medical expertise and common sense. Then... someone ways to me, "Masks... wearing them... it's the right thing to do!" (I'm glad she didn't tell me it's the patriotic thing to do, from someone who doesn't like to see the American Flag because it's nationalistic. ugh)
