NYT ‘Bombshell’ Report On Trump Taxes
Missing One Key Word: ‘Illegal’

Original Article

With just over one month left until Americans decide whether we get to experience four more raucous years of Donald Trump, The New York Times released what has been presented by the mainstream media as a “bombshell” report on the real estate mogul’s tax documents — documents Trump says are “illegally obtained” (which the Times denies) and his lawyers say are incomplete, inaccurate and misleading. The Times’ conveniently-timed report, which runs some 10,000 words, has inspired a flood of media coverage citing the supposedly “damning” revelations contained within. But if you look closer at those 10,000 words, something is conspicuously missing.

Now every half wit reporter and expert is going to second guess the IRS auditors about what was a legitimate expense. NONE of them have ever filled a payroll or run a profitable business. They just envy anyone who actually made money on their own.

Trump says that the NYT illegally obtained access to his tax returns. The NYT responds by saying that those who provided them with the information had legal access to that information, which sounds like it refutes what Trump said, but it doesn't. Just because someone has legal access to information does not mean that it was legal for them to provide that information to the NYT (or anyone else).

And it also misrepresents that he paid $750 in taxes when he actually paid millions in taxes, PLUS $750.

Besides no indication that Trump's tax records show any illegalities, they do not relate to anything that Trump has accomplished or otherwise done when he has been an elected US Government executive official during his about 47 months as President. In contrast Biden has been hanging around DC now as a US Government elected official, as a US Senator and as Vice-President for over 47 years, so anything that Trump or the Republicans bring up that appears to relate to politically based corruption or that is otherwise derogatory to Biden would have occurred when he was a US Government elected official. Quite a difference. Bottom line you have to stack up Trump's accomplishments during his 47 months in office against Biden's supposed accomplishments during his over 47 years in office. Biden is claiming now that he will do things as President that he always opposed in the past, that is a big problem for anyone who has been paying attention. When it comes to the US economy remember Trump ushered in the best economy and job creation, especially for minorities and women, that this country has experienced during the modern era, while the Obama-Biden economy was not good with a lot of vague "hope and change" and American jobs being allowed to be transferred to foreign countries, including China, that have very low paid workforces. So after the COVID pandemic recedes, who is most likely to return this country to a very good economy?

Late-night host Stephen Colbert sees the writing on the wall: “Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett” is a future that the Democrats must come to terms with. Speaking on his show Monday night, the comedian who has turned his platform into a political forum, with jokes largely torching President Donald Trump, admitted Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation to the last Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat “is inevitable, like death.”“We’ve had some fun with Donald Trump over the years, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried. We mostly cried. But every once in a while, you get a troubling reminder that he is the president,” Colbert began.

Former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice said on Monday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In” that President Donald Trump had “refused to understand the world that we live in, the nature of the threats we face.”She cited the coronavirus pandemic. Rice said, “I think American voters who are focussed on our international standing have to be extraordinarily dismayed. Poll after poll shows that our allies don’t trust us, that our confidence and approval of the people is in the gutter. And, yet, more importantly, we are not seeing out of the president the leadership that we need to keep us safe. National security is about keeping the American people safe,

Okay, I know we should be expecting a somewhat functioning Joe Biden for tonight’s debate, but does this man have the stamina? It’s a 90-minute debate, and his team requested two breaks, one every 30 minutes, tonight. Why? Joe Biden has called a lid before 10 AM close to a dozen times in the past two weeks. You can’t run a country like this, Joe. And we all know this wasn’t over debate preparation; you admitted you hadn’t even started on September 23. No matter what happens, barring a stroke on the debate stage, Biden will be declared the winner, and for now, we should expect him

The White House is set to declassify a major trove of documents that include evidence showing Russian President Vladimir Putin was actually working against then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, not ‘colluding’ with him as Democrats have long charged, a report said Tuesday. The declassification and its potential to flip the narrative — set for this week according to multiple sources who spoke to Just The News — would come four years after the Obama-era FBI launched a counterintelligence probe over claims that people within the Trump campaign were working with Moscow to manipulate the outcome in the GOP contender’s favor.

The New York City Board of Elections is blaming a vendor for an egregious error on absentee ballots mailed to voters in Brooklyn that could cause their votes to be thrown out–even if they follow the rules to the letter. The reason is that the absentee ballots were sent out with return envelopes that were mismatched and bear the names and addresses of other voters so that if the person signs the envelope with their own name it won’t be counted as the signature would not match the name on the mistakenly sent return envelope.

Chris Wallace, the moderator of the first presidential debate Tuesday night, insists he will try to remain “as invisible as possible.” That would certainly be a welcome change from his performance in the final 2016 debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. A lot of Democrats no doubt assume Wallace will go too easy on the president simply because he hosts a talking-heads show for the “conservative” Fox News network. But Wallace is not an admirer of Trump. Nor is he above gotcha questions and phony “fact checks.” It was Wallace, you will probably recall, who pompously lectured Trump as follows during that last 2016 debate:

Is anyone really surprised that Donald Trump’s tax affairs are opaque? Or that he is not as rich as he claims? Is it really all that horrifying that he has for years claimed business losses in order to offset his significant income tax liability? Does it appall us that the Trump family used a Delaware-based consulting group to pay themselves? Of course not. The New York Times’s big Trump tax files splash on Sunday is therefore something of a flop. It is well-timed — an election is fast-approaching and the story might give Biden a good attack line in the big TV debate on Tuesday night.
